Guest Reviews
- Erina (10/5): -
- Griffiths (10/5): Very enjoyable - Beautiful location, nice size cabin and bathroom private
- Jocelyn (9/5): Overall, a unique place to stay and very comfortable. - Very comfortable bed, gorgeously soft towels and lovely view. Impeccably clean and great little kitchen. Perfect location for my stay. Hosts were very communicative and friendly! No iron in the room (that I could find). Steep stairs to my cabin got a bit slippery in the wet. Entrance to the property a little hard to see at night. All minor issues, though!
- Debstar (7/5): - The cabin was very peaceful, a bit run down but the bed was comfortable. The views were stunning and the balcony very private. The chairs were very dirty. We didn't feel comfortable using them. There was a previously used wet sponge in the kitchen, there were no extra towels so we had to reuse the towels for the 4 nights/ 5 days we were there, the driveway had no lighting so was very dangerous to turn into and out of at night. There was no fly spray and we had quite a lot of ants in the kitchen and bathroom.
- Zarni (7/5): It is exactly what it say it is - Beautiful location, the stars you see at night are like no other. Great farm views from the cottage. The pillows were sad. The pillows had been used many times over, with the fluff breaking down and clumping again in small bits of stuffing.
Also at night, it can be hard to find the accommodation.

- Thomas (10/5): - Toller Ausblick aus einer modern und umpfänglich ausgestatteten Wohnung.
Ruhig gelegen und sehr zu empfehlen!
- Kate (10/5): - The serenity
The friendliness of the owners
The location about 15 mins from Byron
The spa, sauna and ice bath
The little touches, almond milk, herbal teas, ice cubes already made up, extra blankets ,
The egg chair on the balcony
- Parmy (9/5): Loved my stay will stay again - Cabin was clean comfortable and spacious and the view from cabin balcony just beautiful.
We utilised the bathhouse the bathhouse like the cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious, very relaxing.

- Valerie (6/5): Fix the problems to make it even better - We like the location, very close to Bangalow, its was quiet as well and private. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in No 2 and both times the plug in the bathroom is jammed and the water takes ages to empty. I noticed this was the same thing other people mentioned, but nothing has been done about it. Also the TV i think the remote needs batteries, its the simple things like that, that are a bug bear.

- Gabrielle (7/5): -
- Guest (9/5): Very spacious and comfortable -
- Valerie (8/5): We had a lovley time - The proximity to town was great, very clean. Could of had some kind of floor mat it was raining and there was nothing to wipe our feet on. A rug would have been nice as it was very cold.
- Janet (8/5): - Amazing location
- Michelle (10/5): - A cute cozy cabin with a large bathroom and stunning views. All you need for a weekend away.
- Michael (4/5): -
- Chris (6/5): Enjoyable but very cold - Clean and tidy It was very cold. Had to shut the bathroom door as the unit was freezing. Unfortunately we arrived as an Arctic weather blast hit the east coast
- Ellen (9/5): Superb -
- Amos (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (9/5): Comfy private room with a nice outlook. - Nice private location
- Brand (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (8/5): Comfortable, relaxing & position - View, Hosts, Area,
- Con (9/5): Very cosy room - The location was amazing. It was a little hard to find but we rang hosts. It would have be easier if there was an outdoor light or sensor light as it was difficult to open door in the dark. There was no lid on Toliet which we didn’t like.
- Manesh (2/5): Very disappointed .☹️ - The view. The owner or staff were not very accommodating.
The bed or mattress was old and too aft we could feel the springs.
The old had not lid.
The kitchen tap was loose.
As there only a microwave to cook from.
The little fridge was very old and nosy.
It’s noisy and the main road was close to the cabin so we could hear all the trucks and cars passing by in the morning and afternoon.
There were trades man working on the property which was also nosy in the day time.
There was not much space to walk around the cabin or the property.
Our cabin was close to the main house which disturbed us.
Overall I would not go back or recommend any of my friends or family members to stay here.
- Rebecca (7/5): Forest views, lovely - Excellent overall. We loved the birds sunset and dawn chorus ♡. Clean and neatly kitted out Suggest - thinner Pillows & curtain for bathroom.
- Feldman (7/5): Good - Spacious Iittle studio room. Nice country view. Everything very clean. Good value for money as a transit point on the way to Byron and beyond Nothing in particular..simple dwelling
- Ken (7/5): Good -
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Fergus (5/5): An average place and ok to stay if you want to be close to bangalow but not in it. - The location was close close enough to bangalow The bed was uncomfortable and the room was pretty basic. Nothing to set this apart and the view was … well overgrown
- Ian (8/5): Perfect for one night. THE TV REMOTE HAD A FLAT BATTERY - Fine Entrance difficult to find
- Stephanie (6/5): It was ok but we won't be going back - It is showing its age and needs a big cleanup. The towels were old and worn. The bed dips in the middle. The verandah and railings need cleaning, fixing and painting.
- Meg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassandra (10/5): Relaxing and highly recommended - Very beautifully furnished and super comfortable bed A bit hard getting out of the driveway
- Alan (7/5): It was easy to find, clean & quiet at the end of the day however I can't see us staying again. - Location was great, clean quiet & comfortable. A few things could have been better. There was no cupboard or shelving to place your toiletries on in the bathroom also the plug didn't seal the bathroom sink which was difficult to shave. There was no instant coffee, we had to ask for it and more black tea the next morning. I think when you are paying good money with NO breakfast included there should at least be enough tea/coffee. The cupboard above the kitchen sink is way too high I couldn't reach the glasses and standing on a chair is not good OH&S ? It took way too long to work out how to use the microwave. The tap in the kitchen sink seriously needs to be fitted properly.
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - A lovely outlook from the deck. Good facilities. Not happy about 4pm check-in. Very bad internet connection.
- Andrew (9/5): Would highly recommend for a quiet weekend away - Really private and quiet.
Despite being close to the other cabins on the property it is positioned so as to only have an outlook over the surrounding bushland.
Amenities, although basic, are clean and comfortable.
Position is perfect for a quiet weekend but still only a short drive from either the quaint village atmosphere of Bangalow or the vibrant Byron Bay township Not much to dislike.
Kitchen tap could do with tightening up at some stage.
- Noel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dawn (8/5): Very good -
- Kerrie (8/5): Very good -
- Dawn (9/5): Comfortable and relaxing - Location was picturesque
Accommodation was comfortable
Perfect for our purpose Bathroom sink is slightly blocked
Bedside rugs would be helpful in winter
- Trent (9/5): Superb -
