• John (8/5): Mega! - The staff are really nice and very approachable! The facilty is reall in the right corner where building protect this hostel against strong winds, have a nice ocean and beach view and are very very near to resto and beaches.

Hygiene was top notch and all the guests were respectful of cleaning up after themselves. Made a lot of friends in just two days of staying there. A lot of people go surfing, and you can book through the hostel, so you’ll be in class with people from the hostel as well.

The bunks were sturdy and I appreciated that they allowed me to have the key code to let myself in as I wasn't sure when I'd get there. I didn't see the roof terrace but the pics looked great. There were some small cockroaches in the kitchen, the bathroom and kitchen weren't very clean. More than one bathroom for 12 people would be great.
• Andreas (10/5): best sea view hostel - Best sea view from dorm, common area and rooftop. Very near the best bars and cafes of las canteras area. Good vibes. Spacious dorms which don't feel crowded. Enough fresh air in the rooms. Sufficient power plugs on the beds. Prices are on the higher end for hostels but you get the sea view that is better than elsewhere. Could provide thicker blankets. Construction of the beds is unique and creative but the wood planks can rattle a bit when you move.

• Kamila (9/5): Absolutely loved this place! - If I were smart, I’d leave a bad review just to keep this place available for my next visit—but honestly, I can’t. This hostel is amazing. The rooftop terrace? A dream. The volunteers? Super kind, helpful, and always up for a chat. I also really appreciated the well-organized food storage, the regular cleaning, and the gorgeous common areas with the best ocean view you could ask for and of course the other guests. I had an incredible time here and will 100% be coming back. If I had to nitpick, the mattress could be a tiny bit comfier, and a pre-payment option would be nice—but honestly, those are just small details in an otherwise perfect stay.

• Kateřina (9/5): Very good location, great ocean view but large mixed rooms - The advantage was the location close to the ocean with the boardwalk, grocery store, many restaurants and also a wonderful terrace with a view. The accommodations were clean, the volunteers always went out of their way to ensure comfort and were very helpful. There was a kitchen with equipment. The only downside to this accommodation was the large mixed rooms with 12 beds. I was given a bunk bed only on the 3rd floor and it was at times very difficult to get on and off it. This also entails more people sharing one space together - especially at night.
• Lee (2/5): Repairs ans early maintenance is needed. Consider booking another hostel and try to avoid this one. - The location is amazing with a short walk to the beach and city centre. Doors do not lock/close correctly or easily, lockers are small and large bags will not fit within them, small kitchen area, if two people are showering then the water will run cold, the bed frames are poorly fixed and make loud noises when led on, no safety guard rails to bunkbeds nor privacy curtains. Lack of fridges/freezers. Poorly sign posted when looking for the property. Windows do not slide easily when opening/closing.

• Jonas (10/5): Best in Las Palmas since 10 years - I love this place so much. I’ve tried other hostels nearby many times but they just don’t match this place at all. Far from! This place feels what the other nearby hostels claim to produce - but lack severely; a family like vibe. This place still lacks warm water in the kitchen sink since many years. And a small tap for freshwater to reduce the thousands of plastic bottles a year. It’s such small upgrade with so many benefits. Some might claim that the dishwasher replaces the need for hot water. That’s not true since a lot of dishes are still washed up by hand. In cold water. In 2025. Anyhow this hostel is still the best in Las Palmas and I would take it even if there was no sink. So there you go.
• Kamila (6/5): Pleasant - Fantastic location by the ocean with rooftop tarasse. But its the only good think about the hostel. Rooms are big but organised the way one has no space to put the backpack. The beds are very unsafy, difficult to get in and easy to fall down. One shower is dirty, the same toilets. I did not feel comfortable there. I gave 6 points for location because is exepctional. .

I found some of the beds to be too close together - you feel like you could touch the other person. It’s a bit strange. There is no privacy whatsoever.
• Brian (8/5): Best hostel I've been to in Gran Canaria - Staff are really nice, both volunteers and the manager. Good atmosphere with guests on the rooftop and in the kitchen. Generally a good travel vibe. I also slept so well there. I was on the top of a triple bunk and the bottom stair was broken so had to really conciously climb over it. Similar issue with the base of my bed making some loud noises when I got into it due to the wood underneath not being fixed properly.
• Avgoustinos (10/5): Good vibes - Great vibe. If you wanna go alone, just to disconnect from the world for a few days, this is the place. The hostel has a family vibe. Even though I spent just two nights there, the people and the vibe of the hostel made me feel immediately that I belong there. Recommended.
• Juan (1/5): I would have given 5 star rating, but ... - The staff are amazing and friendly, and the location in front of the ocean was great! I would have given this hostel a 4 or 5 rating if it wasn't for the fact that their employees (or as they're called "volunteers") are pretty much being exploited. I mean, the owner of this place must be making tens of thousands a week, and the "volunteers" don't even get free breakfast or lunch; not to mention that these volunteers are most probably working more than 2 hours a day as the Spanish law allows. Unless this is changed, customers like me will keep giving a number 1 rating for this hostel with wonderful and unappreciated "volunteers"!

Ren and Victor were the two I spoke to the most, and they were amazing, b - The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but above all the staff. All of them were so friendly, Ren, Victor, Decker, Sophie, Marie, Tess etc. I don't want to upset anyone by missing them out! It’s a great place to hang out and connect with others. My favorite spot was the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Thanks to all the volunteers who are taking care of the place and the guests :) The mattress was too hard for me.

• Astrid (8/5): Friendly active hostel with amazing view over the ocean - Very nice roof terrace with direct view to the ocean The bunk bed rooms have their own light and power outlet Big public living area next to the kitchen with direct view to the ocean The volunteers in the hostel organize social events regularly which is very sweet Some more bathrooms for the amount of people would be great; also they would need some work done ; little curtains on the bunk beds would be a plus During my stay in January it was a bit of a party hostel with mostly jung people in there twenties, so i would mostly recommend it for this age group:)

• Marek (10/5): Exceptional - I simply cannot express how marvellous my stay has been at this gem in the heart of Playa de Las Canteras. The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, and the volunteers – Jaime, Andrea, Michela, and the rest – are the heart of this place. It's been an absolute blast; cheers to you all! The house is wonderfully spacious, replete with ample bathrooms and loos. The upper terrace is a real treat, offering the finest views – perfect for a party or a leisurely afternoon chill. I have seen people working there too, sweet. The cleanliness is top-notch, outshining many hotels, I dare say. The kitchen is superbly kitted out, complete with a splendid ocean view. It's such a delightful place, one simply doesn't wish to leave. I reckon it's the best hostel in Las Palomas. I'll certainly be returning. This place must be preserved at all costs! I had to leave too soon, I hate it that.

Especially Erick organized a lot of things and really carried the atmosphere. I enjoyed a lot of moments with people I met there, but also just chilling at the rooftop and listening to the waves. Definitly a great place to stay. The mattress seemed worn out and there were no privacy curtains. That could be improved in my opinion :)

I am giving a 10 because all the Staff/volunteers were absolutely amazing, super friendly, patient and hard working, special shout-out to Eric! He will make sure you will have a good time. The location and seaview are amazing! CASH/ transfers only! And you only find out only after you make a non-refundable reservation. Like other hostels in Las Palmas they should have a water filter!! Even though the tap water is apparently potable, the taste it's just terrible. It is so NOT sustainable, you see everyone in the hostel with their plastic bottles. For the price you're paying and for the planet they should have a filter at least in the kitchen.

There is a lot of space for sitting and just chilling, a nice kitchen, a rooftop with an amazing view on the ocean and the staff is super friendly! People are singin, smiling and just having fun. Great place to meet new people and relax. It was too hot in the room! But I suppose the owners can’t do anything about it as the temperature outside was hell when we stayed in Las Palmas.

• Laura (1/5): Bad - the property was a in a good location and the stuff were very friendly The information is wrong when it comes about the parking, when I made the reservation I have got a message saying that hosts staying at this hotel can park at the Guanarteme parking for 2€ per day, but that’s not true, is 7€ and the manager didn’t bring any solutions even though he provided the wrong information. He never offered any solution or even apologized for the issue, It’s embarrassing the way he treats the hosts. We stayed there 2 nights and informed about the parking issue on our arrival and the stuff never gave us any solution, even though we asked many times, they only said that the manager was informed, that was going to talk to the parking and going to find a solution, which of course never happened. The manager has no idea how to run a business either how to treat the guests properly, he is an incompetent.
• Dounia (1/5): Bad - The location next to the beach The staff, a person called Chris or Christopher was in charge of my checking in, this person was rude and racist, he was uncooperative and condescending, I made a special request while making the reservation to not be assigned the upper bed if possible, when i went into the room all 3 beds were available and wanted to choose the middle one. Chris said I couldn't have it as it was reserved for a client coming the next Day, although I was disappointed i didnt want to make a big deal out of it and took the bed on top, only to see the same bed given to a new comer like me hours later, when i confronted him, he offered no explanation nor apology, this incident made me feel extremely bad and pretty much ruined my stay. Guests should all be treated the same with no favorism based on ethnicity and the way you look.

• Elena (6/5): Pleasant - The hostel is in a perfect location just in front of the beach and close to the city center. Clean and cosy. I think they need to Train better the volunteers, explained to not create gossip between other guesses, like in the school. Ok be friendly but there is always a limit.
