- Peter (9/5): Good value and comfortable stay - Very comfortable Nothing
- Debora (10/5): -
- Saskia (10/5): - Lovely spot overlooking the golf course 👌. A lovely table and chairs outside our room to sit and enjoy the view and the birds. You do have to drive to restaurants and shops, we did know that when we booked. We were a group of six on 3 motorbikes and preferred not to ride at night and it was difficult to get a taxi. If your in a car, no problem 😊
- John (8/5): The room was very convenient for us & if you play golf this is a great option for accommodation - Location for us was great as had a wedding to attend at a venue close by.
Pleasant to wake up to Kangaroos hopping on the golf course right in front of the unit.
Very comfortable bed Unfortunately the air conditioner made a noise similar to a "plane taking off" when we put it on - wasn't on for long! & a few extra tea bags would have been nice.

- Victoria (10/5): Peaceful - Quiet location with beautiful nature outlook! All was fabulous
- Nicole (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay - Beautiful scenery, clean room, comfy bed
- Jessica (8/5): - Even though it said no smoking there were other guests smoking on the shared balcony meaning I couldn’t sit out there much.
- Krista (10/5): -
- Danica (9/5): Perfect for a short stay - The room was located in front of the 18th golf course. It was lovely to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the golfers.
Big bed and a room with everything you need for a short stay! The balcony was shared and a little close to the neighbour. You could hear the neighbours most of the time.
- Susan (6/5): Lovely Location - great view from verandah - Location We were sent a message with a code for the door to check in to the accommodation for 2 nights. We knew there was renovations happening so no food or service at the Club Rooms. We were the ONLY people staying out there on a Monday night BUT no one came to see us to tell us or provide an emergency number or details of who to contact - a helicopter flew over with a water carrier - the place was in darkness - the front gates of the golf course were open. We are not from Adelaide (we were tourists from interstate), and we would have thought A DUTY OF CARE to the guests of the accommodation would have been to ensure that we were made aware of the total lack of security of what to do should a fire break out or unwanted trespassers arrive on the property- it was February. The room was good; the overpacking of the small kitchenette was hard work. I would like to see the paying guests of the golf club motel units to be comfortable about their surroundings and not left in the "dark"...... A simple gesture surely to implement, and it would have made our experience just that little bit more secure.
- Kathryn (9/5): Excellent, clean and neat. Would definitely return -
- Renae (8/5): Comfortable and cheap - Older style, typical of golf course lodgings. But it was clean and tidy, quiet, large comfortable bed. Older style bathrooms could do with an update.
- Terry and Anne (10/5): - Everything. Nothing.
- Jan (10/5): -
- Tracey (5/5): Ok for 1 night’s - Quiet property and lovely view Anyone that has a CPAP machine can’t use it. Left a message requesting a extension cord, but not even a response.
No power points near the bed.
- Amy (9/5): Tranquil - Peaceful, you wouldn’t know you were staying at a golf course. Bed was super comfortable. Very relaxing stay The bathroom was a bit outdated
- DOLINAR (8/5): -
- Bronya (7/5): Lovely staff, great location and top class bedding. - The staff were lovely, the room was clean, and the bedding was great. There were no coat hangers. The taps weren’t high enough to allow me to fill up the kettle. Suggest changing the bathroom hardware as not a big expense. There was a strong mould smell in the bathroom that went into the room if the bathroom door was left open - suggestions getting someone in to find source of mould - perhaps a hairball stuck in the drain? The step up to the deck is uneven and a trip hazard. Suggest replacing steps rather than trying to make existing wood treads non-slip (which has just made them more of a trip hazard).

- Michelle (9/5): I just loved the location. Such a great place to stay - I loved the location, very friendly staff, room was clean, bed comfortable. Restaurant wasn’t open and a little noisy from a function being held sat night..
- Kelsey (8/5): -
- Thompson (7/5): The bed was comfortable but the standard of the room for the price charged is sadly lacking - The view from the verandah Cobwebs hanging in corners of room, drain in bathroom basin clogged, we cleaned the black stuff out, kettle black inside, we cleaned most of it with lemon juice, dust in & on bathroom exhaust & kitchenette, bathroom groans on opening & closing like the Adam’s family.. my friend received several insect bites on her hands & arm
- TheWorldisyourOyster (9/5): Really special place that just needs a little TLC to make it perfect! - Incredible location, the wildlife is something to behold, especially in the early mornings and late evenings. Great location in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, yet so peaceful. It would have been nice to have a bar or some sort of cafe at the golf course that guests could use. Being slightly isolated meant driving out to get a coffee, or to have a meal, every time.
- Kerry (10/5): Lovely spot and a well presented room. - We loved the location, the bed was comfortable and the unit was clean. The wifi wasn’t great.
- Damien (8/5): -
- Jo-Anne (8/5): - Beautiful and quiet
- deborah (8/5): Great value amongst beautiful setting. - The view over looking the golf course. The peacefulness, birds singing and full on nature views. It was really a lovely stay, just a few minor things to be done to make it even better. No one to contact in case of any faults or issues. No staff there on the day we stayed, just emailed information (which was fine). Need to make clearer where units are, a clear sign would be good. The fan and air conditioning need to be either serviced or replaced as both are noisy.
- Muhammad (8/5): Comfortable - Location Bathroom was dated
- Mathieu (10/5): Great stay, will come back if I am in the area in the future! - The team at Mount Lofty Golf Course was simply, incredible. Very friendly and pleasant, helpful and resourceful (they will know what I mean).
- Amanda (8/5): A nice stay - The bed was very comfy and the view from the balcony was amazing. It was very quiet. No curtains on the top windows or the door, which made the room very light early in the morning. The air conditioner was quite noisy, but did warm the room up well.
- Katharine (7/5): - The bed was comfortable. The bedding lush. Had an amazing nights sleep. The WiFi kept dropping out and was easier to tether my phone.
I would only find 2 power points in the main room. None near the bed.
- Greg (8/5): very enjoyable - great surroundings and quiet... no traffic noise
bed.. had a great night's sleep car park lighting - not a biggie, but had to walk until in range of sensor light..
- Sharon (8/5): -
- david (7/5): -
- Joan (9/5): A great base for exploring the Adelaide Hills - The location was charming, with lots of rabbits to entertain the kids. The interior was spacious and well appointed. Awful pillows
Unreliable internet
- Moursellas (7/5): -
- darren (9/5): - Overlooked the golf course The hot weather on the days we were there
- Maree (9/5): - Quiet and clean
- Rochelle (8/5): - Beautiful location - peaceful, serene. Spacious room.
- Valentino (10/5): -
- Samantha-Lee (9/5): -
- Nartarsha (1/5): We left and didn’t stay due to another man being on the premises who I didn’t feel safe enough to stay there with as he - The view in the morning There was no staff to help and that another guest knew my code to get access my key box
- Carolyn (9/5): We were very happy with our stay - this property really suited our family of 5 inc adult children. - Super happy with the location, it suited us really well for a family of 5 adults attending a wedding in the Adelaide Hills. The outside bin was already full, no where to put our rubbish when we were leaving. The mattresses weren't super comfortable, they felt like a futon mattress.
- rebecca (7/5): Very peaceful, relaxing and nice and close to Stirling. A beautiful location and a very large and comfy bed - The bed was excellent and the size of the room was great. The outside area with seating overlooking the golf course was beautiful. The shower was low in pressure at times and the light coming into the room early in the morning made it difficult to get enough sleep, especially after a late night at a wedding.
It would have been nice to have a cafe or more eating facilities.
- Marcel (9/5): -
- Luke (8/5): Basic clean and comfortable good location in the beautiful Adelaide Hills - Clean and comfortable
- Matthew (9/5): Excellent - Nice tranquil location, clean and comfortable
- AGV (8/5): -
- Doug (9/5): - The central Adelaide Hills location and the view over the golf fairways.
- Michele (9/5): - Very peaceful and beautiful location, nice cosy room.
- Karen (8/5): A comfortable, clean room with amazing balcony view - Fantastic vista Nothing
- Stacey (9/5): -
- Stacey (9/5): Comfortable stay - Stunning setting on the 18th fairway!! On a beautiful golf course.
Only 15min drive to Hahndorf.
Very clean and comfortable room The bathrooms could use an update. They are like an old sporting shower. But they were still clean and manageable
- michael (8/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely space with a beautiful view. -
- Hari Sankar Iyer (7/5): Loved the property, very beautiful scenes around, ideal for a group and not for couple - Very picturesque and scenic locations Aged infra inside rooms, no restaurant or cafe within the golf course
- tiffany (10/5): -
- Kent (8/5): Great little location - Clean, quiet location. Room value for money. Close to town. Air con unit on roof and close to windows, when turning on heater it sounds like you are in a plane and it is like the pre warming up the engine.
This happens every time it turns on heater, so overnight, it wakes you up.
- David (10/5): Great stay - Looking over the golf course. Spacious room. Easy check in. Very clean . Nothing
- Rod (7/5): Nice and peaceful - Location The fact that everything was closed and we didn’t have face to face encounters
- Kym (7/5): Close to facilities and comfortable - Clean, very comfy bed - stunning view
- Kimberley (10/5): Close to the event I was there for, clean, quiet room with amazing view across the 18th hole - Beautiful location, great views & quiet Nil
- Ann (9/5): -
- Sharni (9/5): A beautiful stay in the hills before golf - We had a great stay, the room was comfortable with good amenities and bathroom. A beautiful view of the golf course and an early tee time is great when you are right there! Communication with management was easy. Unfortunately, majority of Stirling lost power while we were there from about 10pm until the afternoon the following day. This led to scrabble by torchlight and an early night before golf the next day which wasn’t too bad. Communication throughout from manager Clea was awesome and not to fault. There was an offer for reimbursement and a free round of golf to make up for the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated.
- Kerry (8/5): Couldn’t have asked for more. - The location was excellent for attending an event in Stirling. The room was very comfortable, immaculately clean and had everything I needed. The view across the green was stunning.
- KatieBarnes (8/5): Hidden gem in the Adelaide hills - The location and the serenity of the place No foody/breakfast options nearby
- Vickie (8/5): Had a great time for a ladies weekend away. It had everything we needed except more towels. Great location, we could cra - No other properties around us. Didn’t have enough towels for hair and couldn’t use again if they hadn’t dried properly. Also only 1 hair dryer for 6 women 🫤
- Stevens (8/5): Great spot to unwind and relax. - Great quiet location, awesome. Quite bright in the morning from high windows.
- Sarah (8/5): -
- Jenny (6/5): Great place if you play golf. - It was so nice to be in the hills. Very easy to park. We had no fresh towels for 3 days. The room was very dated and the bathroom stayed wet and steamy. It wasn’t very private as the rooms were too close.
- Tina (8/5): - Did not have All good
- Shannon (8/5): -
- Aysha (7/5): Tranquillity at its best - The views were beautiful and peaceful. The comfy bed was an added bonus It definitely is an older place, but they are about to start renovations next year
- Simon (7/5): -
- Denise (7/5): Nice place just a little more attention by the cleaners. - The setting There were dirty tissues and a suspicious empty packet in the bedside drawer,no detergent and used milk in one of the rooms .
- Joy (9/5): Would stay again - Lovely location and handy to Stirling
- Michael Gojan (8/5): Room with a view. - Nice clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful view overlooking the golf course. Friendly staff.
- Jess (7/5): Fine for one night but room could do with update and sound proofing - The location and setting was lovely There was a very loud buzzing noise coming from the room next to us, who left their heater on all night and when we had our heater on, it also made a loud noise. Made it very hard to get a decent night’s sleep
- Craig (8/5): great for a one-night stay -
- Grant (5/5): It was comfortable. - Comfortable bed, good shower, beautiful view over the golf course The bathroom needs a refresh and the light outside the door was triggered multiple times each night.
- Sarah (9/5): - Stunning outlook, handy little kitchenette w microwave, good heating, very comfortable bed.
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Christine (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay. - Great value for money, warm, clean, beautiful surroundings. The sensor light outside the room kept coming on during the night and reflecting through the window over the entrance door. This needs a dark cover over the window to stop the reflection of the sensor light.
- Sonya (5/5): Our stay was clean. Thank you - The property was clean The heating was not sufficient
The kitchenette was awful. Rubbish bin in kitchenette not desirable for ladies with feminine hygiene products. For nappies. Playing in the bathroom not convenient for kitchen.
Lack of curtains along the top, allowing in light when day breaks.
PowerPoints behind your head when your sleeping, not good.
$203 for the night. I will not be bad mouthing. But I would not stay again nor would I recommend
- Cheryl (8/5): I enjoyed my stay only though it was for one night.I was comfortable, loved the surroundings - It was a nice little spot to stay.Loved the magpies in the morning while having breakfast on the balcony. They wernt scared to come close.Heater was nice and warm as it was really cold.Bed was comfortable.Overall a nice little room People that stayed next to us were a bit loud and woke us up before 6am.Bit rude. You can't do anything about that just thought I would mention it as that was the only thing that I didnt like.Basic room but was nice.
- Felicity (7/5): -
- Zeljka (9/5): Comfortable - It was cosy and comfortable Nothing
- Chris Badman (6/5): - Surrounded by green space! Close-ish proximity to Handorf. Big room, free on-site parking. Nothing nearby you could walk to. Also, the clubhouse bar and restaurant were closed when we stayed - worth checking as we spent a lot more on taxis than anticipating!
- Honeylyn (4/5): If you like roughing it out, then try this motel. - Nothing. It’s quite dark at night. Certain lights are only activated by motion detectors and there are only a few of them.
The room was ok but not thoroughly cleaned.
You can still see a lot of hairs in the bed probably from previous guests. The water kettle had left over water. The power socket had a tape probably because it’s faulty.
The room to the door had a frosted glass so we didn’t feel the privacy while occupying the room.
We didn’t know how the AC works so all throughout the night, it wasn’t turned on. Which was supposed to be much helpful for a very cold night.
- Megan (10/5): -
- Chris (8/5): -
- Flatz (8/5): Lovely - perfect for what we needed -
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gowri (5/5): Beautiful and serene place but cleanliness issues - It’s beautiful and green. Has lovely views and is very peaceful. The WC was dirty. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. The bedsheets were old and had balls in them which made the sleep very uncomfortable. I didn’t rate the staff because I didn’t meet any.
- Keith (9/5): For warmth & comfort in winter it was memorable. - Variable heating, mattress, bedding & pillows, kitchen facilities, bathroom facilities, spacious enough, good privacy, clean, TV & remote worked well, pretty much everything needed was on hand. A power point or two beside the bed would have allowed me to use my laptop & phone much more easily while charging their batteries. Alternatively an extension cord or two would have been handy.
