- João (1/5): Disgusting. Dangerous. Deceptive. Avoid this hotel like it’s contaminated — because it feels like it is. - Let me begin with a very simple fact: This is not a hotel. This is a rotting trap, packaged with stock images, fake promises, and a complete absence of shame. We booked two rooms with pyramids view. Not a maybe-view. Not a blink-and-you-might-see-it-through-rubble view. A clearly advertised, paid-for pyramids view. What did we get? • A filthy room facing an abandoned, crumbling structure, with a barely visible triangle of stone in the background • The second room? Quietly and fraudulently cancelled after check-in, without consent, as if we wouldn’t notice • And when we asked for what we paid for, we were told we could “upgrade” — yes, upgrade to our original booking — for €15 more per night This was not a misunderstanding. It was a well-rehearsed scam, and we were just the next victims. Inside the room: • Exposed electrical wiring, taped together and left hanging like decorations — a blatant fire and electrocution hazard • The air smelled of mold, sweat, and neglect • The fridge was rotting from the inside out, with visible rust and a stench I will never forget • The bed linens looked used, the furniture was cracked, and the floor had layers of dirt built over what felt like years • Dust and stains on the walls, mysterious substances on the curtains — the kind of things that make you want to shower after checking out This isn’t about being picky. This is about basic hygiene and human safety. And then… we had the misfortune of speaking to the “manager” — Ahmed. Ahmed is not a manager. He is the embodiment of cowardice in a button-up shirt. Unwilling to take responsibility. Unwilling to listen. Unwilling to show even the smallest sign of professionalism. We requested a fair refund — two nights we were absolutely not staying. He refused. Cold. Robotic. Arrogant. He offered one night, and acted like he was doing us a personal favor. The man runs a health risk disguised as a business and has the nerve to deny refunds.

A special mention goes to Maha, Mohammed, Gat and Bilal for their exceptional hospitality. Their attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to assist made all the difference. Whether it was arranging transportation, making dining reservations, or simply greeting guests with a genuine smile, they truly exemplified top-tier service. The level of professionalism and dedication displayed by the entire team is what sets this hotel apart. When in Giza I highly recommend HUT Pyramids Hotel to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a warm and welcoming experience. I will certainly be returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You can see the pyramids while eating breakfast on the rooftop...

Also the food was well prepared and tasted very nice! Special thanks to Maha, who was helping a lot to make my time very special at NUT Piramide view. Just a tip: The room i was in, was very noisy because of the sound of outside. Maybe you could look at it, like the windows.

I asked for a late night check-in and immediately ask if I need a driver to pick me up at the airport. Shower was clean and neat. The room I had for the first days with the pyramids view was really nice. I went on a tour to the pyramids (Giza, Saqqara…) organized by Khaled and the driver Moez was really cool. Price doesn’t include entry tickets and food. Rooftop is perfect for breakfast and to see the sunset When I checked in the room floor was not perfectly cleaned, probably dust from the air.

- Alexandra (3/5): I don’t recommend this place and I will not be back. - The hotel is new, so it is made/renovated the entrance. The room was very big, as the bed. The bathroom was new also made with taste. The breakfast was enough with a great, spectacular view over the pyramids. It was also a store with everything near the hotel. The hotel is named differently, so it was weird to find it at 3am. They could tell us through message. I didn’t like the staff. Even they were polite, they continuously pushed us for the tours. We arrived at 2-3am and they were keep asking us what tours we have, and what we do, and if we don’t want to take some other tours. The hotel is 30%made - 70% not, so it felt like in the hotel we were the only clients, or 1 more. The bathroom even it was new, it was not made well and you could see tape on the ceiling. The sink was clogging continuously and then leaking water. In the room was a strong smell of animal, I don’t really know what it was, but both me and my partner felt it. In the room was bot pyramid view as I wanted (that’s why I booked this hotel), but you had to look on the window, to the left. The hotel is not in a very safe area, 0 tourism. You cannot buy anything in the “hotel”, no water, drinks, food, coffee, nothing. I messaged the hotel because I was supposed to receive a book that I ordered after I left- no answer. But in the previous days, when we stayed there, they answered, hoping that we will take a tour. I will not come back and I will not recommend this place.

We didn’t expect much given the price, but we were in walking distance to the pyramids and had an amazing roof terrace with direct pyramid view. The rooms were very well equipped and super clean. The staff was super friendly. We would like to thank Gad in person, he was so helpful, he walked us to a local restaurant in the neighborhood for great Koshary and even took the time to take pictures of us on the roof in front of the pyramides. Thank you so much Gad for your kindness! Breakfast could be a bit more interesting. But there are also great local food options nearby.

The hotel is next to the pyramids site so outside of the hotel is full of people, vendors of cheap/fake souvenirs and scammers

The staff was super helpful and friendly, they will do everything to make your stay there comfortable and smooth Almost nothing, I had a great time there

The hotel’s location, just a short walk from the pyramids, is incredibly convenient, and the value for the spacious rooms is truly impressive. The hotel was a little difficult to find, as there are numerous hotels of similar sounding names close-by, and the names of the sign outside the hotel differed from the one on the booking website. We also weren't able to find the hotel on Google Maps, but I'm sure this is primarily due to the hotel being very new.
