Guest Reviews
- Chiyedza Cassandra (10/5): Amazing staycation - The service was amazing . Nana welcomed us well and was very kind. When unhappy, our issues were resolved promptly.

- Batsaikhan (10/5): - The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly.I could see the top part of the pyramid from my room. The location is a bit far from the pyramids and there was a gas station and a car repair shop in front of the hotel.
- WALEED (10/5): - الموظفين وهدوء الشارع والقرب من المسجد أرجو اضافة زيت زيتون على طاولة الافطار

- Mariam (10/5): Good value for the money - The property was extremely clean, breakfast was adjustable to our taste and served in our room balcony on our request. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a view of the pyramids which was breath taking. Thank you for the amazing service!
- Evan (8/5): Very good - The view of the pyramids were incredible!
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (9/5): Superb - Hotel was really good, my first hotel in egypt but i was surprised, clean, aircondition, close to pyramid Payment by card at reception was possible only for restaurant not for room, no explanation why
- Anastasija (5/5): People working there are very helpful, but I guess this is the only + we can give - The hood around is pretty dirty and creepy. No cleaning in the room. Breakfast is not breakfast at all. There are just snacks, but not a proper food. Old and overused towels and bed sheets.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Well located for the pyramids, which can be seen from the roof top. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Spacious room. As we had an early flight we decided to keep things simple and book a transfer through the hotel but it was 20 mins late.
- Jeremiah (3/5): A place to sleep for cheap - The price. Otherwise it was a terrible hotel The food and breakfast was very very bad. The wifi was not strong enough. The rooms were not clean and the lighting was really bad. No lamps or options. Also there were many things in the image tht were not in the room.
- Virginia (5/5): Passable - The hotel was very clean and quiet, however improvements are needed the bed sheets are horrible! Full of piling it almost felt like an exfoliating bed. There was also a sewage smell that didn’t help and couldn’t sleep the first night. We were moved to another room and the door didn’t properly locked when we left the room. Replace bedding for better quality and fix the sewage smell in the hotel.
- Figueroa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zakaria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denis (7/5): Good - Nice owner who was helpful. Welcome drink. The street is noisy and we asked to change the room, which they agreed to do.
- Nadia (6/5): Nothing special! - Location was not bad! Staff was nice The view of the pyramids wasn’t as good as we thought.
!!! As you can see in the picture I uploaded the obstruction!! Breakfast was really bad, we only had it the first morning, even though it was included in the price , we skipped it because it was not good! The shower was horrendous, wouldn’t work first after we asked for assistance which was fixed while we’re having our breakfast, wasn’t still good (barely coming water out of it) but we didn’t want to ask again , the worst was the smell of sewage that wouldn’t go away , it was nastyyy! I would not stay here again for sure! Another thing that upset us was the fact they kept on insisting about arranging tours , like everywhere in Egypt, always harassing tourists! Why would we buy from them, when we could find online for cheaper prices? Not good
- Christopher (3/5): Horrid staff and breakfast in a good location - The location is near to the pyramids which is good. Rooms are nice and there is a good view from where you get breakfast. Breakfast - Worst of any trip. On the first day I ordered eggs and no eggs were given just a lacklustre croissant and bread and ham, despite telling the waiter I was vegetarian. On the second day a bit better, but still put meat on my plate despite telling him I was again vegetarian in Arabic.
Staff - Expect to be harassed by WhatsApp prior and then have a very pushy lady not take no answer for an answer when you say no thank you. Not knowing my wife is a fluent Arabic speaker, we then listened as the lady told reception to make us wait longer for our room because we didn't book tours with them. What sort of hotel decides to act this way and punish their guests?
Wouldn't book again, if you do choose to book here I hope you have a better experience than us.
- Preventec (10/5): Exceptional - Location near the pyramids
Great value for money
Spacious and clean rooms
Breakfast was served at the tables with choices, good and enough for me, maybe some people need more.
Very good design mimic the old Egyptian design
Good staff, very helpful,
The hotel have a restaurant and travel service to assist you. Small things but quickly solved by the staff
- Arturs (9/5): Beatiful hotel with a good service. - Room was spacey, with two extra sofas and table. Service in the hotel is well-organized, staff is friendly and ready to help. Especially liked that hotel upgraded the room without need to pay additional price. You can choose meals for the breakfast. Bathroom is collocated with the toilet. For large family (we were 4) it can become problem. View of the Giza pyramids is partly obstructed by the building on the front.
- Yaseen (10/5): ""Everything was wonderful at this hotel. I highly recommend it for a great stay."" -
- Thalita (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good, the room is big and confortable... The hotel is always clean with good smell, the staff is just wonderful, people from reception, the general manager very friendly, the staff from the restaurant, specially Mohammed Abdallah and Gasser Mahmoud, so polite and helpful... The breakfast was delicious. The localization is perfect, just in front of the pyramids. I liked everything...you can trust the hotel is just like the photos and better.

- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - I had a really nice stay at King Pyramid. The staff were so kind and welcoming, always ready to help with whatever I needed.
For the price, I was honestly surprised at how much I got beautiful design, super comfortable rooms, and a real touch of luxury. Everything was spotless.
If you’re booking a room, I highly recommend going for the King Bed it’s three times the size of a regular bed, and you’ll sleep like a king
- Yaseen (10/5): It’s Very nice clean place with a beautiful and cosy living with a view. Abdelhady and all the staff were great and ve - Nice property and good location Very good location

- Avram (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mo (7/5): Good -
- Nils (8/5): Nice hotel, close to the pyramids and friendly/helpful staff. Just watch out eith the tours - Super friendly staff in the restaurant/breakfast. Good room The tour they offered to the pyramids was terrible and expensive compared to what i got. The driver and the guide were more interested in getting me to buy stuff than helping me or showing me things.
- Alexander (9/5): Fantastic stay - Convenient location ( in front of the pyramids, you can walk there)
Clean rooms
Friendly staff
Abundant breakfast Nothing
- Sphe (6/5): A great Egyptian style stay, conveniently situated near the Great Pyramids & tours around Egypt. - The interior of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing & very conveniently located near the Pyramids. You get to enjoy their views at the rooftop restaurant, which also looks very cute. The food was presented well & tasted good. The rooms were neat on arrival & the receptionist who helped us check in was friendly & accommodated for our late check in. The hotel’s location is pretty hidden, making it very confusing for drivers trying to locate you or drop you off. The staff’s communication skills & efficiency could do with some improvement. There were too many misunderstandings which made us feel very anxious during our stay, but they would always be apologetic & try fix their errors. Even before arriving I had a lot of questions which I had to wait for a while to get a response, I even reverted to sending emails rather than WhatsApp messages as they hardly responded there. They unfortunately only accept cash payments for bookings, & the amount for the booking on the Booking app was different to the amount I was asked to pay once I arrived. I let it slide, but then they wanted me to pay extra for breakfast due to me checking in late, even though it was clearly stated on the Booking app that breakfast is included in the price. Showing them this made them very apologetic & all was well. During breakfast, the poor waiter would constantly mess up our orders, or we’d end up waiting too long for our meals, to a point where we’d request to pack the breakfast as takeaway as we were running late for our tours. If you don’t request for your room to be cleaned, towels changed etc. it will not be done. Our tour to Siwa had to change slightly meaning we’d havre to leave earlier than our check-out date. I didn’t want my money to go to waste so I organized with the evening receptionist to allow us to keep our rooms & to put our luggage in storage until we returned. All was good, but the message was not relayed to the daytime receptionist who wanted us to check out! Again, I had to show proof that my booking technically ends on the day we return from Siwa anyway. And once again everyone was apologetic & let us leave our luggage with them until we got back from Siwa.
- Germain (9/5): Superb - La gentillesse du staff.
- Dandu (9/5): It is in excellent location and very near to giza pyramids and mena hotel. The breakfast was great and i would recommend - Excellent location Nothing
- Albi (8/5): Very good - The room, decoration and breakfast was the best! The shower, no pressure a bit disappointed
- Fayez (8/5): Very good -
- Doruk (10/5): Exceptional - From the first enter the building, reception did a very warm welcome. All the procedures were smooth. All the staff, from reception to the restaurant, everyone was very much helpful. Special thanks to Hamza here.
The room was spacious. The bathroom had everything I need; a hairdryer, dental kit, shampoos, even the loufa. It was perfectly clean. Wifi even allowed me to work with my laptop.
I will definitely be back. --
- Adrien (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. The staff is incredible around the clock 24/7. They planned our excursions making the most out of our trip. I really recommend this stay to any European or American. We felt safe and welcomed. Thank you again and see you very soon.
- Claude (10/5): Exceptional - Room was clean spacious and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel. Egyptian breakfast was the best of the breakfast options! And a beautiful restaurant view. Great location for exploring Giza monuments, 10 minute walk to the north ticket booth. Kind staff and easy check in with excellent English.
- Liu (8/5): Good and nice! - Best location,Lowest price!Furthermore, the staff here are very kind! Not yet

- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- 志炜 (7/5): Good - Very close to the pyramids The bedding sheets are rough, and no slippers
- Jone (10/5): Great option for those looking to stay in Giza. The hotel is well taken care of and is clean. The staff was very friendl -
- Fatma (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely room, very modern and nice. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST There was a small dead mosquito on the wall. But everything else was nice.
- Benevolence (5/5): Breakfast can be better - Location was great. Very close to the pyramids with beautiful views from the breakfast area. The Hotel Manager Hedi, was amazing and kind. He tried his best to make up for our dissatisfaction but there’s only so much he can do. Bathroom layout
There is no counter space whatsoever in the bathroom. Considering how big the bathrooms are and the ‘dead space’, this is such a poor use of space. This signals a lack of consideration for the guest's convenience, which is a pity because the actual bathroom looks beautiful. Even open shelves would make a massive difference.
Breakfast
The breakfast options were limited, and the quality was subpar. Specifically, I found the bread to be stale, sometimes cold, the chef inattentive, Even ‘traditionally’ hot breakfast items, such as sausage, beans and meats, were served cold. The food was also generally lacking in flavour. This was true of all the days of my stay and I even tried different breakfast options. Perhaps a buffet might be a better option??!
- Jie (10/5): Awesome and warm place to stay. - We love it here, the hotel is clean and nice, you can enjoy the full Pyramids view from the top roof canteen while having breakfast. Me and my friends we arrived in the morning and the manager is so nice he let us early checking in the morning without extra charge! Definitely will come again and recommend to all of my friend!
- Fernando (10/5): Totally worth it! - It was super close to the pyramids, with easy access to other places as well. Property is simple but super comfortable. The staff is very helpful and will do go the extra mile to help you in anything you need including tours and transport. Special kudos to Mahmoud! 👏🏻👏🏻
- Filipp (10/5): Exceptional - I’ve had an amazing time staying here, especially the staff was very helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend this hotel
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esra (10/5): very good location - The staff was very helpful and friendly, we felt very comfortable, you can easily choose
- Maxim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vinicha (10/5): Amazing - Friendly and welcoming staff I liked eveything
- Marie (10/5): A great experience. - The hotel is in a great location. The view from the restaurant is outstanding, (beautiful pyramids view). The staff are really friendly, especially the hotel manager Hady. He was really helpful and welcoming. The prices of the lunch and drinks were a bit expensive in comparison to outside restaurants prices.
- Sharon (9/5): Fabulous - Location, price and comfort and value for money . The staff were super, caring and friendly and really helpful
- Zijiang (1/5): Substandard facilities and bad personnel at the King Pyramid Hotel can significantly inconvenience your trip and sour yo - Your review is well-written and clear, but I can suggest
⭐☆☆☆☆
I recently stayed at King Pyramid Hotel, and I must share the deeply disappointing experiences I encountered.
Poor Location and Room Quality
The hotel’s location is mediocre at best. You need to walk through dusty streets for twenty minutes to reach the North Gate, and if you plan to visit the East Gate (the one near the Sphinx), it might feel like an eternity. Generally, you’ll find yourself dependent on taxis to get to the pyramids. The room conditions were substandard; the bed sheets were pilled and scratchy, making it hard to sleep. The toilet splashed water onto your legs with each flush, requiring you to stand quite far back to avoid getting wet. The sink was also frustratingly small, the hot water supply was inadequate, the bathroom drainage was slow, and the Wi-Fi was practically unusable at a speed of 50kb/s.
Theft of Property and Unprofessional Conduct
During my stay, a bottle of Phyto conditioner, valued at approximately €20, was stolen from my room. Despite locking away most of my valuables, this one item left out for convenience was taken. I promptly reported this to the hotel manager with video and photo evidence, but the resolution process was utterly frustrating. Initially, the manager attempted to compensate with an unfair exchange rate of $15. After we pointed out the discrepancy, he grudgingly agreed to the correct amount based on the official rate. Furthermore, his response was unprofessional; he displayed a hostile attitude and even retaliated by demanding 200 EGP for luggage storage—a service stated as free on Booking.com. This disregard for customer trust forced us to leave the hotel prematurely.
Fraudulent Charges and Racial Bias
Our booking included “all-inclusive breakfast,” yet the hotel staff repeatedly tried to impose additional charges. On the second day, not only did I pay 300 EGP for coffee, but I also left an extra 50 EGP tip. I understand that I was not staying at a five-star establishment. However, there are basic improvements that should be addressed to enhance the experience for all guests. Specifically, the hotel should focus on the following areas:
1. Honesty and Integrity: It is crucial for the hotel to foster an environment of trust by not overcharging guests or imposing unexpected fees. Transparency with pricing and services is fundamental.
2. Security and Respect for Personal Property: Steps must be taken to ensure that guests’ belongings are safe at all times to prevent theft and provide peace of mind.
3. Facility Upgrades: The hotel needs to improve the toilets, showers, bedding, and Wi-Fi connectivity. These are basic amenities that significantly impact guest satisfaction and should meet standard expectations.
- Jimy (9/5): Superb - 3 different options for breakfast every day. The location of the hotel was perfect because it is in a quiet neighborhood of Giza. The staff was nice and efficient, especially Salma, who offered me help with the tours and good recommendations. Only 1 elevator was available for the whole hotel.
After 7 pm, there was no more dinner service at the restaurant.
- Mohamed (7/5): Value for money - Everything was great except the restaurant Restaurant
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yingna (9/5): Superb - Staffs are so welcoming, extra compliment for the female front desk queen x
- Bruno (10/5): Exceptional - Great service, great views of the pyramids in the restaurant (and some rooms). Rooms have fridges, comfortable beds, TVs, a locker, a boiler and a fully equipped bathroom. Breakfast options are flexible, and you can get drinks 24/7. The hotel helped me plan my days by providing an agenda with tours, which made my stay quite pleasant & educational. Overall the service was amazing.
- Taisa (1/5): Bad -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - This Hotel is very amazing and beautiful and the Hotel staff is very Good And Respectable MashaAllah I am Full Happy i am so comfortable feel this hotel and amazing facilities
- Abdelhamied (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hajar (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed at an exceptional 3-star hotel with 5-star service. Mr. Hadi was always there to assist me with his valuable advice. When I was feeling a bit tired, he even made me a natural, magical drink 🥰🥰. It was a pleasure to meet the entire staff, who were all outstanding. The hotel’s location is amazing, with a stunning view of the Pyramids of Giza.
Thank you my friend @Mr. Hadi, for your kindness ❤️❤️❤️. I really appreciate it.
- Elyesa (8/5): Would stay again. - Staff was so nice. Housekeeping, reception, bellboys, especially Ibrahim (rooftop waiter, he always made sure we are happy with the food and the service). The location was perfect. A quiet area compared to other hotels near the pyramids. And still an incredible view. Breakfast is clearly not like the photos on booking but I was still happy with it. Strawberry and mango juice was a game changer!! Thanks a lot. Bathroom was a bit dirty, floors and the shower drain.
- Kiia (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent breakfast & great room facilities. Very nice and helpful staff. Great value for money.
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean nice value for money
Staff was so helpful i have to mention salma and shahi
They helped me a lot
- Georges (9/5): Superb - Cost bennefict. Only 2 options of breakfest... a Buffet will be better. The bed sheet was not confortable.
- Halima (7/5): I can recommend to friends that’s for sure - The food and staff were friendly The place was decent for the amount we paid. However, the bedsheets looked old and need to be changed. They are stained and have a rough texture that shows that they have been overused.
- Michel (9/5): Good value-money relation. - Big bedrooms. Tasty breakfast with a nice view overlooking 2 of the pyramids. Helpful staff. They arranged wake up calls at 6am without me asking for them. That was a big annoying!
- Zulkifli (10/5): perfect - Guys dont think twice, just book it

- Rafaela (9/5): Beautiful view, very clean rooms and kind personell. Great quality for price - Everything
- Barbara (10/5): Our room had a view of the Pyramids which was just magical. - Nice
- Fırat (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was exceptional. Highly recommended to everyone who come to visit Cairo. The staff was really helpful and kind. No one disturbs you at all.
- Yiqun (10/5): Good Value - Great value! Hotel is near the pyramids.
