• Vladimir (4/5): 😢 - Das Haus war wirklich wunderschön und sehr schön. Die Unterkunft war hervorragend ausgestattet, sauber und gemütlich, und die Lage war perfekt. In dieser Hinsicht hatten wir keinerlei Beanstandungen. Das einzige Problem waren versteckte Zusatzkosten, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit der Sauna. Vor unserer Ankunft wurde uns gesagt, dass die Sauna die ganze Woche kostenlos sei und wir sie jederzeit nutzen könnten. Vor Ort wurde uns jedoch mitgeteilt, dass die Sauna nur gelegentlich genutzt werden dürfe, dass die erste Nutzung kostenlos sei und jede weitere Nutzung mit 15 € pro Stunde berechnet werde. Am Ende mussten wir insgesamt 90 € für die Sauna bezahlen und mussten regelrecht darum bitten, dass sie eingeschaltet wird, was unseren Gesamteindruck deutlich beeinträchtigt hat. Außerdem war angegeben, dass der Pool auf 25 °C beheizt sei, jedoch hatte das Wasser unserer Meinung nach nicht diese Temperatur und es war zu kalt für ein angenehmes Baden. Schade, denn ansonsten war alles perfekt – das Haus, die Lage und der allgemeine Komfort. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft gut, aber diese unklaren bzw. nicht zutreffenden Informationen zu den Zusatzleistungen sollten im Voraus deutlich transparenter kommuniziert werden. • Trevor (8/5): It was a great place for us and could easily be improved to amazing - Good communication ahead of arrival meant we were able to arrange a slightly earlier check in and confirm the location of the property to get out quickly on our first day. Met by very nice helpful people. Nice spacious villa. Overall communication was good – the agent sent us images to help us find the place The villa was clean and well prepared for us - there was a nice little basket of food items Nicely laid out (except for no ceiling to the indoor shower/toilet) It was a good size for six single adults to share The sofa bed was prepared for us The hosts provided extra blankets Good little sound system for connecting personal music. We used it for karaoke (using our own microphones) but were unable to work out how to connect a laptop to the TV. Outdoor space was nice - we were always out all day but we did manage to have breakfast out there a couple of times Pool was right next to the sauna, a nice size, clean, and warm! Kitchen was spacious, had a hob, toaster, kettle, hand blender and microwave. We liked the donkeys, although we didn't know why they were there. Their curious faces were nice to come back to and their honking provided quite a soundtrack to the atmospheric location. Unfortunately on arrival we found out that the host was in hospital. Possibly as a result of thisour introduction to the property was not as informative as it could have been. We weren’t told how the indoor hot water worked (something to do with taps high above the shower) so had a few cold showers (in March) and boiled the kettle to wash up. There’s a shower next to the sauna but it was difficult to get a steady warm flow. The shower head didn’t attach to the wall so had to be held. The sauna itself was a delight - once we understood how and when we were able to use it. We were shown the light switch but not told how it works, so we were unable to use it for the first three nights. Nobody in my group noticed that the sauna comes at additional cost (due to design of booking.com). It is indicated on the listing but not very clearly. However, it was not indicated when I checked details of the booked property in my iOS app, and there was no information available in the villa. Negotiating access was disruptive for a couple of days, and frustrating as we felt we were being restricted. Customers cannot use the sauna as they like - the sauna is programmed by the host, to come on at a requested time and limited to 1 hour (it took about 30 minutes to warm up). Our first session was free, the second given as a gratuity, but neither went above 45˚C. Eventually we arranged to pay and enjoyed two great sessions with additional warm-up time, reaching 60˚C and cooling off in the pool. To his credit the agent (Roberto) remained professional and understanding throughout the communication Kitchen was spacious but could be better equipped for larger groups. No oven or grill (which was kind of OK). Only 1 chopping board. The moka pot and filter machine were tiny, and none of the pans were that big. A sharp knife (or sharpener) would have been handy. Kitchen sink kept getting blocked. A large plunger under the sink was effective but not something you want to do once a day on holiday.
• Daren (10/5): Great location. Nice and quiet. - Great communication with the owners and their team. Lovely people. Cantos Del Grillo is the perfect location for exploring the island. Maspalomas only about 35mins away, as was Las Palmas and the centre of the island. Villa is rustic, open plan and had all we needed. Made use of pool and BBQ area. Nada, todo bien. It's all good.
• Ellen (8/5): Enjoyable well maitained villa - Very nice and well maintained villa. The kids really liked the donkeys and the heated pool. We enjoyed the serenity, the BBQ, and sunbeds. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the outside pizzaoven, which was also present. If you like to be away from the main touristic places and you like to be in a more peace and quit environment (a car is needed) and you like animals, we really recommend this villa. We've had a great holiday! Probably due to the presence of the donkeys there where quite some flies outside, but all windows have screens, which was very nice!
• Laurentiu (10/5): Best place to book in Gran Canaria if you’re looking to relax. - The property is located in a nice quiet area. If you’re looking for a piece of heaven you’ll find it here. Yaiza was very helpful when we needed something, everything was sorted out really quick. Our little one enjoyed playing with the cats at the property. The donkey are nice too, they didn’t disturbed us, they are quiet and friendly. Our flight was late in the evening and the owners allowed us to check out very late. Thank you again with this occasion. If the property will be available on our next visit to Gran Canaria, definitely will book again. No complaints, everything was good.

• Kévin (9/5): A taste of the countryside in the Canaries - Quiet, very clean and well-equipped house with comfortable beds. The outdoor space is huge, and the barbecue area is a real bonus. Antonio and Marie Pino were very responsive and accommodating. A car is necessary if you wish to stay here as the house is a little isolated with no-one around. It is possible to go hiking from the house. We spent 1 month here and I highly recommend it.
