• Bernadette (10/5): Great unit in a fab location - Brilliant location near to many walks. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were great to communicate with. The only thing I can say is that it could have done with a washing machine.

We made a booking but then hit some issues of our own making, Adriaan went far out of his way to help us sort them out. I cannot thank him enough for his customer focus which went well beyond what anyone could expect of a property owner. Its clear that the attention to detail that Adriaan puts into the management of his property extends to looking after his clients as well. I would whole heartedly recommend Nature at your Doorstep Nothing at all

• Francina (10/5): I had the best stay—spotless unit, amazing hosts, super comfy and packed with luxuries, couldn’t have asked for more! - The unit is absolutely stunning and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable while also feeling spoiled. It is a great location away from the main town area so it is nice and quiet yet close enough to all the attractions, picturesque lookouts to watch the sunset and literally on the doorstep of some of the best hiking trails the Blue Mountains have to offer. The unit itself was immaculate. The gas fireplace was a real treat on the cold evenings and there are very clear instructions to get it going. The hosts were simply wonderful- great communication, very friendly, helpful and willing to help with anything. They made the best recommendations for places to visit, where to park and value for money eateries. I can highly recommend this little gem and will definitely be back.🌷 There was really nothing that I didn’t like - it was beautiful😃
• Andrew (8/5): Great Base for Exploring - Natures at your Doorstep offers a great location to explore the Blue mountains both on feet and by car. It was close to walks and lookouts, and only a short drive to Katoomba town center. The accommodation was great, warm, clean and comfortable. They could put some block out curtains in the bedroom as it was very bright first thing in the morning. The fire was a little hard to start and the blinds in the lounge room need fixing as some don't work at all, or don't close fully.

• Alice (9/5): Great location. If you don’t have a car there is the local bus service outside. Loved having the space. - It is very spacious and well appointed for cooking your own food but we ate out. It was very tranquil being surrounded by nature. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet as you are away from the main tourist precinct. We would have loved a laundry facility. If not possible then an iron and ironing board as we stayed for 6 nights. We managed to do hand washing. Better directions on how to get to the property like street names.
• Tess (8/5): Very good - Perfect location for our base for the grand cliff top walk. Highly recommend Tempus in Katoomba for the best food of our trip! The property was clean, big kitchen and bedrooms comfy. So nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. There was a very strong chemical smell when we arrived which we assumed was after cleaning, it remained the whole stay though despite opening up the windows. The property also does not have air conditioning (note it doesn’t say it does, we missed this when booking). I can appreciate it does get cold in the winter months but we were visiting end of feb and hiking and the weather on all 3 days in the mountains was 29-30 and very humid. The bedrooms stayed cool as they are downstairs but upstairs was stuffy and hot. The property does not come with any fans (which would have been enough to cool down a bit). There was a ceramic heater with fan only setting but not powerful enough to circulate air in the larger space upstairs.

Due to this confusion the cleaners were a bit confrontational that caused a bad experience when vacating the property. Besides that everything was great.
