• Zakariye (9/5): We enjoyed our stay! - The location, stay and facilties were incredible. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back here on our next stop to Venice in the future. Nothing. Everything was as expected.
• Appleby (10/5): Beautiful apartment close to attractions. - The apartment was beautiful, located in a little square next to a church with 2 restaurants in the square plus a wine bar nearby. Very close to vaporetto stop S. Silvestro on Line 1. 15 mins walk to St Mark's Square and just 5 min to Rialto bridge. We picked the wrong Vaporetto queue on arrival at Venezia St Lucia train station which led to lengthy delays. Once in the stop there was no way to exit. Not a fault of the apartment itself but more detailed instructions for arrival would have helped.

Tudo perfeito.

• Piruza (6/5): Pleasant - Venice was simply magical, and the property was in a wonderful location. The apartment was nice, had comfortable, cozy and beautiful bedrooms. The bathroom (where the shower cabin and toilets were) didn't have a door, and this was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. Also, although we paid city tax and checked in online in advance, the host provided the instructions to access the apartment only on the day of our arrival. Which made things a bit more difficult as we were on our way (on plane, on bus..) and had some issues with internet access.

• Mugdha (8/5): Great location, superb apartment, could do a lil better on facilities! - The location is fantastic!! Everything is walkable, restaurants underneath, super market less than 5 minutes away, 8-10 minutes from Rialto. The apartment is very modern and very clean, great size for a family of 4! The host is easily reachable during 9am-6pm and very helpful. The fact that I could not connect with the host after 6pm was stressful for me. I didnt need their help but its just stressful when you're in a foreign country and you know you cant have help after 6pm. The apartment offers no toiletries except for dishwashing liquid - not even hand washing soap so plan for that. There are no hooks/ bars to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom except if you shove the hand towel out (when you are in a group of 4 people this can be particularly hard). The emails came from more than one sender so it was difficult to keep track of what information is where, if all emails came from one sender email it would be very helpful.
• Derek (9/5): Great Family Stay in Venice. - Great location and value. Beds were comfortable. Liked this as it has 2 bedroms where competing properties were going to put the third on a pull out sofa. Quick communication and repair to a broken light. Would be nice to have a few items like coffee but not a big deal. The trash situation was unique. I didnt full understand what I was supposed to do with it and since I had so little, I took it with me. The heater unit in the LR seemed to ignore the thermostat. We had set it to 21C and when we came back it was like a sauna. But easy to just turn it off.
• Jennifer (10/5): Enjoyable break in a perfectly situated and beautiful apartment a stones throw from all of Venice! - Location excellent, spacious and well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet, beds both comfortable. Nicely decorated apartment- perfect really! Not a problem but people with limited mobility may find two floors with no lift difficult.
• Andrew (4/5): A lack of general maintenance and basic customer service. - Looked like the photos. Heated towel rack hanging off the wall. Heaters weren't working the first night, and batteries hadn't been replaced in the remotes. I notified them immediately, but they weren't able to send anyone to fix them until the next day, so we spent the first night in a cold apartment. Wasted our first day in Venice - requested to leave our luggage in the room ahead of checkin, and they said we couldn't because the apartment had to be cleaned. We sat outside the apartment with our luggage for 3 hours - no one came to clean the apartment, we checked in at 1500 and the apartment had already been serviced, so there was no reason not to let us leave our luggage. Requested a partial refund because of the above issues and the general lack of maintenance in the apartment and was denied. They offered us a discount off our next booking, but there will be no next booking.
• Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Communication through the booking.com website was easy and response was quick. I asked many questions before arrival and all were answered in a timely manner. Room was very spacious and clean.
• Mary (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The location in Venice was great, close to the Rialto Bridge. Communication with the booking agency was very good.
• Amelia (8/5): A great apartment in a wonderful part of Venice! - We loved our stay at the Railto Sant'Aponal apartment. The apartment is located a quieter part of the city however is a short walk to all the major attractions. The apartment overlooks a quaint square with two great eateries at your doorstep and even more options for great coffee, local pastries and bistro style food options in the adjoining laneways. The apartment is spacious and modern with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and a washing machine located in the apartment (which was great when travelling with kids). Windows are double glazed which is handy at night as the laneways around the apartment can be lively at night. Excellent communication with the host via WhatsApp. It would be nice to have some tea/coffee provisions on arrival and more cleaning products (especially if you are staying for a longer time as we were). I'm not sure there is much that can be done about the occasional smell in the bathroom too.
• Tami (2/5): I would NOT recommend this place. - Location. Air conditioner/heater were all filthy. They don't respond back on WhatsApp right away. There is no front desk. They ask you to take out the trash. This is against the policy with booking.com. Loud at night. Mold everywhere. Safe box featured In the pic but not usable. Washer is included but no laundry soap. 3rd floor!!!!!!
• Chichester (8/5): Nice place, good location and comfy bed. - Very roomy apartment with two bedrooms and separate lounge/kitchen area. Modern interior nicely decorated. Separate washing machine and clothes hanger. Air conditioning in every room. It is in a small piazza which means you have more light and sense of space albeit it can make it slightly noisier. There was a smell that permeated from the bathroom shower for the last few days. I was advised this can happen in the period of rain and low pressure (albeit there was only one day that had a few rain showers). Also there was no washing powder provided. All other places we stayed at provided this. It is hard when you are going around Italy to carry washing powder and we had to buy a box. Also one dishwasher tablet for a four day stay is not great.
• Angelina (7/5): Good location, but … :( - Nice location Many caffès and restaurants nearby Mini supermarket Coop is around the corner Many space in apartment Iron and hairdryer was on place 1. We sent several questions to the host (before our trip and during) but didn’t received any response. Totally silence. That’s really weird. 2. There was only 1 coffee capsule , but there were 4 of us. In that case rather put nothing , than only one ..as it felt like 3 were used by someone before we arrived. 3. Dust mites on bed! First, two people developed bites and rashes. By the end of our trip, all four had them. Please, do something. 4. Trash policy … As I checked cleaning was included in Booking Price, but you Have To throw trash after your stay. Otherwise you will be fined. Trash can be thrown only on special boat that is available from 6 AM to 8 AM. Please be aware of that.
• Maria (10/5): Excellent, 10/10 - I liked everything, nice, illuminated, and it couldn't be cleaner, really impeccable. All the facilities were like new. I really loved it and would repeat it a thousand times. I liked everything, but it is important to know that it is on the second floor and there is no elevator, for people with less mobility or baby strollers.
• Sam (6/5): Great city, comfortable but average and very pricey accommodation (is a poor trend). Apart from the tourist tax, a visit - Location and cleanliness. Expensive and nice, enough, but basic. No breakfast options, only recommended expensive restaurants (completely ignoring the very good restaurant on the doorstep), pitching to the upmarket client but ignoring the fact their accommodation suits families.

• Jane (9/5): Fantastic!!!! - We liked everything! It was located in a wonderful old square near the shopping district and the public water taxi. We got to know the restaurant in the square and felt included. The apartment is superb. It was very new, quiet, and clean--recently rehabbed. Nice bathroom. Very roomy. And all around excellent stay. Not really. But it is not for people with disabilities---two flights of stairs.

• Thomas (9/5): Excellent apartment at a fantastic location! - Apartment was very light, clean and cozy. The supermarket and bakery are at walking distant. Very quiet neighborhood while all major tourist sides are at walking distance.
• Eduard (10/5): Clean and cozy place to spend few days in Venice - For us, it was the perfect location, a nice area, within walking distance to everything you need, 10 min to San Marco. The location is spacious, clean, and cozy, we traveled with our 2 girls 9 and 10 years old. Early check out.
• Adrian (8/5): Very good - Close to main attraction points. Apartment was large and beds comfortable. Precise orientation details provided by host. One bedroom heating system wasn't very efficient. Some unpleasant odors in the bathroom. Noisy neighborhood, a bar is located just below a bedroom window.

Great combination of traditional features like the terrazzo floors and beamed ceilings with modern design in the kitchen and bathroom. Climbing up the narrow stairs with a suitcase

• Dennis (9/5): We had a fabulous stay in Venice and this apartment was great. - Fantastic location. The apartment is a very generous size considering it is in the heart of Venice. The apartment had all we needed and communicating with the hosts was easy. The bathroom and kitchen were modern and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The hosts were very helpful with advice on travel to and from the airport. I would recommend this apartment. I only mention this for other travellers information, this apartment (as is the case with many in Europe) does not have a lift. Useful to be aware of ahead of time.

• Efi (9/5): Nice apartment, good location! - Spacious,clean and comfortable apartment located in a central and beautiful square! It would be nice -if not necessary- to have at least one bottle of water in the fridge. We arrived when all supermarkets and shops were closed so we could not buy water. Also 2 coffee capsules and sugar would be a nice welcoming touch so the guest doesn’t have to search for a super market first thing in the first morning. Mosquito nets on the windows are necessary.

Good kitchen facilities for a short stay. Comfortable bed and good shower. Good communication from the managing company.

• Shauna (8/5): Very good - Fab apartment Very strict on rubbish and not leaving anything in the apartment. There is a coffee maker but no coffee or tea meaning you had to buy a whole jar for only a day or two that then had to be binned. More than one dishwasher tablet and detergent would be really beneficial. Thank you
• Mia (10/5): we had an incredible stay- a family of 4, apartment was a great place to tour Venice from, and location had its own cha - The location was excellent- very convenient for a start, but also located in a charming square adjacent to an old church and across the square from a wonderful restaurant. there is also a small co-cop a min away from the apartment, making it very convenient. apartment was spacious, air conditioning was very good, beds were comfortable. and kitchen well equipped. self check in was clear and easy, as well as flexible. we would have appreciated additional rubbish bags and dishwashing liquid.
