• Heather B. (9/5): Beautiful winery, close to Berat - We enjoyed our stay at Pupa Winery. Our room was large, clean and comfy. The view over the valley, from our balcony, was lovely. We appreciated the tour and wine tasting being included in the room rate. Our guide was young but very informative as we visited the vinyard and winery. It is situated with a beautiful view of Mount Tomorr. The wine tasting was good, along with a selection of snacks. Very tasty dinner and breakfast too. It was difficult to find where to check in. Turns out we needed to follow the signs to other activities/places up the steps. Just needs an extra sign for check in.
• Agata (9/5): - Czuć tu rodzinną, bardzo ciepłą atmosferę. Pokoje są ciekawie urządzone drewnem, w tym samym klimatycznym stylu co restauracja, co tworzy spójną i przytulną całość. Ogromnym atutem jest niezwykle uprzejma i serdeczna obsługa, w tym sami właściciele, którzy dbają o gości z dużym zaangażowaniem. Cały teren jest zadbany. Zwiedzanie winnicy oraz degustacja win w cenie noclegu to świetny pomysł i bardzo ciekawe doświadczenie. Wina są naprawdę interesujące – szczególnie zapadło nam w pamięć różowe. Szkoda, że nie można ich kupić w strefie lotniskowej, bo lecąc tylko z bagażem podręcznym miałam nadzieję zabrać butelkę do domu. Śniadania były przepyszne, a ciepłe, świeżo smażone wytrawne pączki stworzyły wyjątkowy klimat poranka. Restauracja serwuje bardzo smaczne, głównie regionalne dania. Drobna sugestia z naszej strony to uzupełnienie menu o kilka prostych propozycji dla dzieci jak, np. makaron z sosem pomidorowym. To miejsce tworzą ludzie z pasją i sercem – życzymy dalszego rozwoju i wielu zadowolonych gości!

• Josh Davimes (8/5): Beautiful vineyard setting with great food and hospitality - The room was modern, comfortable and spacious with a great view from the balcony. The breakfast was generous, delicious and traditional. The included vineyard tour and wine tasting were informative and enjoyable. A family run establishment, with knowledgeable staff who were very passionate. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent. A great location to visit Berat from. Our room was located directly above the restaurant, so it was quite loud and busy with day visitors.

• Celine (10/5): Pupa wijn is fijn! - De wijntour- en proeverij waren heel leuk, de jongen die alles uitlegde deed het met volle passie. De eigenaar was ook zeer vriendelijk! We hebben tot laat op het terras gezeten, geborreld en gedanst met andere gasten. Het verblijf was fantastisch, het was een prachtige en schone kamer. Echt een aanrader om een bezoek te brengen aan Pupa! 🍷 niet van toepassing.

• Michael (10/5): Fantastischer Aufenthalt in sehr schöner Atmosphäre und Umgebung. - WIr hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in der Pupa Winery. Das Zimmer ist wunderbar, schön eingerichtet, gross, mit toller Aussicht. Die Tour durch den Rebberg und den Weinkeller, die im Preis inbegriffen war, war informativ und grosszügig. Wir bekamen verschiedene Weine und einen Raki zum Probieren, dazu gab's einen sehr schönen Apéro. Auch das Nachtessen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Die Besitzerfamilie und die Mitarbeitenden waren ausserordentlich freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Met als afsluiting een wijnproeverij van hun eigen wijnen. De ochtend daarna start je de dag met een heerlijk ontbijt. Niets.

Zwiedzanie Winnicy i degustacja wina wliczona w cenę noclegu. Wspaniałe śniadania z lokalnych produktów. Ślicznie oświetlona strefa ze stołami. Otoczenie Winnicy to rozbiórka jakiś starych zabudowań więc rano budził nas dźwięk maszyn budowlanych. Z okien nie ma widoku na winnicę, bo trzeba do niej dojechać samochodem. Obsługa śniadań nie zna nawet podstawowych słów po angielsku. To miejsce z ogromnym potencjałem ale brakuje zacienionej przestrzeni z leżakami lub fotelami do relaksu poza pokojem.

We arrived and were served a very special wine tasting meal on the large terrace between two long tables of local celebrations. A wonderful, special and very tasty eventing - and they told us it was all included in the room price. What a nice surprise.

• Tamar (10/5): Very unique place - A magical and special place. The room with the balcony is wonderful. The family staff is helpful and kind. As part of the stay at the hotel, there is a tour to the vineyards and tastings of the wine produced at the estate. Breakfast is rich and well-prepared, and the restaurant is also good. The hotel is located about a 25-minute drive from Berat. We had a wonderful experience.

We hadden dit geboekt i.v.m. de wijnproeverij, dit was echt super leuk. Je gaat naar de wijngaarden en de proeverij is met luxe borrelhapjes (bij de prijs inbegrepen) De eigenaar en zijn zoon vertellen enthousiast over hun bedrijf. De avond sloten we af met wijn, lekker eten met muziek en we hebben samen met alle andere gasten en locals nog gedanst, dit was echt een van de leukste avonden van onze reis naar Albanië! Niets

Recommend - just 20 mins from Berat on the way to Osumi Canyon.

The staff made us feel like home and the approach felt very personalized. We went to both Nurellari winery tour and Pupa, and in the end we are glad we decided to spend the night in Pupa.

• Marian (9/5): Prachtig verblijf met heerlijke wijnen. - Prachtig verblijf op een wijnboerderij. Familiebedrijf met vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooie hotelkamers. Goed restaurant. Het verblijf is inclusief wijntoer en wijnproeverij waar wij van genoten hebben! Een biertje is niet te koop, wat wij begrijpen. Er worden ook feesten gehouden. Omdat de kamers boven de zaal liggen kan je daar wel wat overlast van hebben. Het feest zelf heeft ons niet echt gestoord wel het opruimen tot laat in de nacht. Je hoorde het schuiven van stoelen en tafels.

• Emily (10/5): AMAZING! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. - EVERYTHING! There was literally nothing to not like. The property itself is absolutely stunning and cleaned immaculately. The rooms were big and spacious with a great shower. We had a balcony with lovely views too. We went on an incredible winery tour with Devi and his dad Eni. Devi spoke fantastic English, translating for his dad on the tour. Their families winery is beautiful and we learnt so much. I can’t believe how cheap the stay was and how well everything was organised. The wine tasting and the appetisers with it were a great touch. The breakfast was unreal and we just loved the whole stay! Parking was easy and not too far from Berat so we were able to go back to the old town in the evening which was lovely. Nothing … it was all fab.

There is a vinyard tour that was great. followed up with a tour of the winery and wine tasting with antipasta. Very kinda host and staff, great winery tour, good restaurant. Amazing value. Probably the nicest accommodation in the region; we almost stayed at Alpeta instead but glad we choose this one, as we visited the other and it seemed nice but a bit dated in comparison, and the wine was much better at Pupa Nothing, this was a fantastic stay and a true highlight of our time in Albania.

• didier (10/5): Leuk verblijf - Leuke rondleiding in de wijngaarden, wijnmakerij. Daarna een gezellige wijnproeving die in de prijs was inbegrepen. Mooie propere en grote kamers.
• Timothy (10/5): Highly recommended - A beautiful family-run winery with a great staff. We had a private tour with one of the brothers and his son of the vineyards, pressing and processing rooms, which also included great information about the area. They also provided us with a wonderful wine tasting. Their wines were the best we had in Albania. We had a lovely meal outside, and the breakfast was outstanding. The room was large with nice details and a great bathroom.
• Michael (10/5): sehr schöne Weine - die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und die Angestellten sind mit Leidenschaft dabei. Wir wurden nicht nur der Weinkeller sondern auch der gesamte Weinberg gezeigt.
• Carla (9/5): - Mooie locatie, rustig gelegen. Fraai uitzicht. Rondleiding door de eigenaar op de wijngaard was interessant. Diner en ontbijt waren goed. Personeel erg aardig. Goede bedden en badkamer..Uitstekende wijn van de eigen wijngaard. Eten en drinken tegen goede prijs. Niets
• Herman (8/5): Genoten van de luxe kamers en heerlijke wijn - De accommodatie is echt heel mooi en de kamers zijn perfect. De gratis wijn proeverij is goed verzorgd en echt heel leuk om te doen. De omgeving is mooi en rustig. Wel 13 km van Berat maar de weg is ook ‘s avonds goed te rijden. De accommodatie is vooral ingesteld op de verkoop van wijn. Erg goede wijn dat moet zeker gezegd zijn. Er komen veel groepen en de meeste mensen verblijven er 1 nacht. Omdat er ook feesten gegeven worden kan het zijn dat je last hebt van lawaai ook als je niet vroeg naar bed gaat. Maar ga hier vooral heen om van de heerlijke wijn te genieten Er is weinig tot geen schaduw op het terras en lekker buiten zitten is er dan ook niet bij. Stoelen zijn zeer goede eetstokjes maar even lekker buiten zitten op een beetje comfortabele stoel als je iets vroeger aan komt kan niet.
