Catriona (5/5): Great location and tremendous potential but sadly lacking an acceptable standard. - The location, the peace and fabulous potential to be something very special. It was not as advertised - no washing machine,microwave, hooks for towels. Asked for Wi-Fi code and was told ‘tomorrow’ but no sign of host in the morning. Eventually got Wi-Fi but it was very poor and only worked intermittently outside - not the super connection as advertised. No hot water, no toilet paper. Thin sheet directly onto mattress(no mattress protector). AC in living room not working. Gritty floors, grubby bathroom with lots of used soap remnants and other toiletries from previous guests. Even a saw blade on the bathroom vanity unit. Nowhere to put rubbish apart from a plastic waste basket in the kitchen full of previous guest’s rubbish. Poorly equipped kitchen but everything grubby and filthy washing up sponge and no cleaning fluid so didn’t use it.
Zbigniew (10/5): Fantastic hotel - Fantastic hotel. Definitely recommend. Excellent location - quiet and peaceful, yet very close to restaurants. Very clean. Great garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, extremely friendly. Additional plus - very tasty breakfast.
Mohamed (10/5): Highly recommended 🌟 - We had a great time at the Garden View Guesthouse. The place has a very peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere and a beautiful oriental style. Mr. Ibrahim, took wonderful care of us. He made us a delicious breakfast and helped with our transportation and sightseeing plans. He also answered all of our questions. We were especially grateful that they let us check in early, which was very convenient for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. We recommend this guesthouse to other travellers.
