- Pierre (10/5): Beautiful apartment and a very gracious host. - Our group of 4 adults and a 3-year-old stayed for 5 days in this beautiful apartment (801). It is very comfortable, well stocked with all services and amenities and a lot of nice extras provided by Iman, a very dedicated and attentive host. Wifi is strong and reliable. Communications before and while residing at the apartment were always very clear and efficient.
The apartment is very well located on the island with the Aquabus river boat service 100 meters from the apartment. Public transport is nearby as well. Many restaurants, coffee shops and food markets are within walking distances. Views from the three patios are very nice. Underground private parking facilities are free, secure and easy to navigate. Located in a very quiet and safe part of town, nights are calm and quiet.
All in all, a top-notch place to live. You will not regret making this apartment your top choice while staying in Vancouver.

Every need was catered for from dishwasher tablets to umbrella. Super comfortable beds. Great location opposite Granville which is easily accessible via ferry which was only a 1 minute walk. Lots of outside space. All areas easily accessible either by ferry, Uber and walking. Area felt very safe at all times. Highly recommend. Nothing.

Beautiful throughout, inside and outside on the terraces. Hosts were helpful, friendly and professional, Teas, coffee and welcome pack were a great addition. So close to Aqua boat taxis to use to explore the area, nice coffee shop and restaurants.
- SUZAINA (9/5): Amazing, cute Penthouse - Location, location, location. Close to everything, especially grocery store. Beautiful beach, cycling and walking paths. Water taxi to Granville Island is literally just downstairs. The area around the apartment felt very safe with lots of people walking around in the evening.
The apartment came with a secure parking spot which was a huge plus.
The host, Iman, was superb. He met us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and provided us with some basic groceries to start us off. I can't thank him enough for being so kind.
Apartment had all you needed with a well stocked up kitchen, many fresh towels, two outdoor decks for BBQ meals. Everything was clean when we arrived. Apartment is compact. It was fine for a group of four but any bigger and it'd be a little cramped. There isn't much room if you have many large luggage pieces but we managed to find space to store them.

Die Terrasse ist traumhaft Die Lage ist fantastisch und die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser ist wunderschön – das sind die Highlights des Aufenthalts. Allerdings hat man eher das Gefühl, in eine bewohnte Wohnung zu kommen als in eine Ferienunterkunft. Die Wohnung ist bis in die kleinste Ecke mit Möbeln und persönlichen Dingen zugestellt, sodass es kaum Platz für Gepäck oder eigene Sachen gibt. Im Bad stehen noch zahlreiche Pflegeprodukte früherer Gäste, und im Kühlschrank finden sich alte Soßen, die offenbar seit Jahren dort sind.
Fünf verschiedene Möglichkeiten, Kaffee zuzubereiten, sind zwar nett, aber die Wohnung sollte dringend entrümpelt und modernisiert werden. In ihrem aktuellen Zustand ist sie den hohen Preis leider nicht wert.

Die Wohnung hat einen sehr guten Zuschnitt und mehrere Terassen, davon 1 sehr große. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut, man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell in der Robson Street und in Grandville Island. Die Wohnung selbst ist liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details ausgestattet und man sieht sofort, dass der Vermieterv an viele gedacht hat.

Iman was friendly and accommodating he even upgraded us as the penthouse suite was available! We felt very comfortable and well looked after. Upon check out we were kindly allowed to store our luggage while we went to an Art exhibition before our departure.
The location was ideal! We were in beautiful neighborhood. A short walk to the aqua bus and we were at Granville Island. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this choice !

- Carolyn (10/5): A cute little studio in a great location. - The small studio was located in a fabulous location. Water taxi across to Granville island right at the door. Lots of extras supplies in the fridge and cupboards. We had a great stay here. Nothing, I was all great.
- Sheila (7/5): Good location, lovely host. - The location, the warmth and facilitates - though I did not use the jacuzzi it was there if I wished to use it. I could not find the gym but there again I did not ask. The host provided us with fruit and a bottle of wine which was very thoughtful - and there was loads of coffee and machines to make it. The apartment was well situated however the weather was windy and rainy and on two really windy nights the wind howled through the windows as I dont think there was a good seal. There was also other outside noise on another night - works on the motorway but that is nothing to do with the apartment or owner but it was loud and I could hear it and didnt sleep. I found the bathroom with two doors (jacuzzi) a challenge as I did on two occasions walk into it when my partner was on the toilet which was not pleasant for him or me. The other bathroom was fine (one door). The sofa in the living room was too low and soft - it was a challenge to sit on. I confess I expected the apartment to look like the images on booking.com and it does but I realised the pictures are a mash up of two other apartments but as I say this was my expectation. These are minor irritations and I hope helpful to the owner who was delightful and overall did not detract from a lovely stay

The apartment was furnished and equipped very well and we had everything we needed for a lovely breakfast in the morning or a chilled dinner in the afternoon. We enjoyed this place a lot, especially because it was so light and quaint. What we liked most was how the apartment was composed and the way all the rooms were nicely furnished with so much eye for detail. We felt warmly welcomed right from the start! Nothing.

The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic visit.
Chris was exceptionally nice and helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction made a significant difference in our experience.
We wholeheartedly recommend Penthouses of Beach Ave for anyone looking to have a memorable stay in Vancouver.
- Lih (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is complete with all I needed Location is further from main shopping areas but we used Uber which was very convenient
- Wenda (9/5): Spotlessly clean, ideal location and great amenities. - We had Penthouse 2 on the 8th floor. From our arrival, everything was great. The host, Iman, met us on arrival and walked us through the apartment showing us all we needed to know. The amenities offered were beyond what we were expecting - for example three different types of coffee machine; drip, french press and pod. Open a cupboard, and there was something unexpected in terms of being supplied. Previously, we have stayed in many s/c apartments where the supplies have been minimal. Not here!
We had a lovely welcome package of fruit, wine, chocolate and jelly beans. The little touches were everywhere.
The main thing we liked was the location. While not directly on the sea front, there was only one building in front of it and we could see the marina from the main balcony - great place for morning coffee & the balcony wraps around catching the sun all day. The kitchen had so many extra’s - mayo, sauces, teas (note plural!), condiments, recipe books, noodles, soup - you name it, it was probably there.
The apartment was spotless and easy to keep clean. Two very comfortable bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. While the unit is a bit on the small side, it was perfect for the three of us, and could certainly be great for four.
We really liked the location - right by the Hornby river taxi slip to get over to Granville Island, easy access to the local convenient store and bank. The main shopping area, Robson Street was a 10 minute walk away. There are several restaurants all within a stone’s throw. You just need to be aware of cyclists and the wild geese that can be found wandering the street!
We had a great time there. Iman checked in on us to make sure everything was OK, and we even met the housekeeper as we were leaving who was also lovely.
If you want a great place to stay in downtown Vancouver - this is right up there with the best of them. There was nothing really to dislike. When we return, we will book the Penthouses on Beach again. Absolutely nothing.
- Ricardo (10/5): From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable service and attention to detail. - The owner, Mr. Iman, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect, offering personalized recommendations for things to see and do in the area and even surprising me with thoughtful touches like a complimentary bottle of wine and a selection of fresh fruit and chocolates. The accommodations themselves are nothing short of luxurious. The air-conditioned penthouse was spacious and elegantly furnished, with a terrace overlooking the sea where I could enjoy my morning coffee while soaking in the stunning views. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to whip up a meal whenever I pleased, and the private bathroom with its deep bath and plush bathrobes added an extra touch of indulgence.

It's a perfect location for everything! Everything was planned set for us - there isn't anything we didn't like.

- Ram (5/5): Started on a bad note due to delay in key handovers and ended on a high given Diljit concert - The host of this property had good food recommendations and options for sightseeing We had to wait for over 55 minutes with my family after a rather long drive from Seattle despite giving constant updates on our arrival which was very frustrating, we started our holiday on a bad note . Whilst this is a penthouse it’s on 8th floor and not a typical high rise where you get unobstructed views of the harbour, there are buildings right in front so it’s a bit misleading in terms of expectations . The price is almost 600 USD per night for which you expect top tier service and experience in my views this is way overpriced. Also at a human level we had requested for a change in dates due to a personal constraint and the landlord was inflexible, though we agree it was a non-refundable rate but was still so high so consideration here would have gone a long way at a human level . Fortunately , we could travel . Parking is very tight if you are driving a large SUV so please watch out for that and the fitness facilities are very average .

- Jennifer (9/5): Great place to stay on Beach Ave! - We were met upon arrival, they took us up to the Penthouse, reviewed the basics and got our keys. Super easy and welcoming. There was a bottle of wine and some snacks waiting for us. The views from the unit are spectacular.
We loved the view & being on Beach Ave. And for February in Vancouver we had spectacular weather! Sure it's cloudy and cold, but we barely had any rain! The condo is so close to everything we wanted to do on our 4 day getaway. Small coffee shops/delis, bakeries within a block or 2, so we loved getting up early and getting coffee. We walked to Yaletown for breakfast, walked the Seawall up to Sunset Beach, English Bay and the West End. Took the False Creek ferry to all the stops and what I really like is that Granville Market is such a quick ride by ferry from The Aquatic Terminal to the island. Ubers were also super easy to catch if we opted not to walk.

Steps (literally) away from a Granville Island water taxi, a convenience store, grocery, small cafe's, bakeries and shops. A nice walk to galleries, museum, shopping and malls. A +/- $10-15 uber ride gets you to most core places in the rain.
My hosts were on their game. A nice introduction and briefing, wonderful little extras placed around the penthouse to make my (our) family (2 adults, 2 children) stay comfortable, enjoyable, convenient and well...perfect. Every room was well appointed, with the comforts and extras of home. Balconies (yes plural) with an assortment of seating options, a bbq/grill, beverage storage. Kitchen with more than appropriate/adequate "tools" and commonly "forgot" to bring items. Bathrooms with extra nicety's and plenty of towels/linens. A gas fireplace in the living room....yip. Wifi and internet TV...check. Convenient laundry in the apartment...check. Beautiful views and sunsets....check.
Many thanks to the hosts! This was my first foray into the non-hotel/resort chain/conglomerates experience. They set the bar and my expectations going forward.
