Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): We all had a great stay here and would definitely come back. - House was easily large enough for a family of 5 to have a relaxing few days. Master bedroom was lovely with great views and the Ensuite was fabulous.
Lovely views over the forest, great sunrises in the morning. We had a Kangaroo visit us one of the mornings which was fantastic!
Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was very useful. A welcome pack would be really helpful. This could contain instructions for heating, tv, spa bath, appliances, recycling, bins etc. Also maybe some info on nearest shops, restaurants, bars etc.
Also could say that other items such as drying rack were available on request.
For a group of 5, more towels would have been useful.
Maybe a few additional items in the kitchen would help such as scissors and bottle opener.
Iron and ironing board would be good.
The house was cold and took a lot of heating up.
House had a few maintenance issues such as a couple of missing floor tiles in the hall and a hole in the wall in the living room.
- Joydah (5/5): There was some nice things about the place but our overall experience was disappointing. We will not be returning. - The fire place was the best! The view was lovely & we liked walking around the backyard The ensuite in the master bedroom had this funky smell, like a septic tank, coming from the toilet. The stench caused us to move to a different room! Thankfully there was only 3 of us so we didn’t need all 3 rooms.
The smell of next doors cooking seemed to waft into our side of the house somehow. Smelling like bacon. They were also quite loud at times.
It is not advertised that the house is adjoined to/half of another house
The water was not hot, but only warm for showers and dishes. And there were no teatowels in the house.
These factors really impacted our experience at this “peaceful home”. We informed the host of these issues and received no response, which was disappointing.
We would not be staying again.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful location Bring a jumper as its a bit cold in winter - still beautiful though!
- Albin (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful home with great views Took a long time to heat the house during the rainy winter days
- Nita (10/5): Quiet, relaxing stay in the wilderness - Beautiful property which was very well furnished. Newly done up. Lovely outdoor area as well Nothing
- Michael (10/5): An exceptionaly relaxing quiet and peaceful property with an excellent host - Inviting cozy and (as advertised) peaceful Felt relaxed as soon as we walked into this large spacious and very clean property. Open fireplace and large spa were added bonuses. We had one or two questions and the host had responses for us in very very quick time. Have already booked another trip later this year to this property Seriously, minute in the scheme of things. An iron, tea towel and saucepans would have left us wanting for nothing
- Emily (9/5): Great location and place to stay! Very, very enjoyable! -
- Julie (10/5): Great location and perfect for our needs. - This property was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding and needed a 3 bedroom for the night. It was close to Potters Receptions, and was clean, spacious with great views and very clear easy communication with the owner. We have decided to book again in the near future for a weekend and to take advantage of the fantastic open fire place. Maybe just some normal teabags and a bit of milk. In saying that we survived until going out for breakfast.
- Wei (7/5): Overall it met our expectation. Good for family and if you are looking for a quiet place. - The place was quiet, located in a State Park. Spacious. It has everything you need, salt, pepper, tea, washing detergent, rubbish bags. The guest room and guest bathroom are a little outdated. Some corners have spider webs.
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Robyn (10/5): Great property, 3 big bedrooms - We were very happy with our stay at the property in Wonga Park. The bedrooms were large with a beautiful view of the trees from the Master. Would be brilliant for a winter getaway with the fireplace! The next door neighbours were a little bit loud, but the noise was gone by 9.00z
