• Lisa (7/5): Weekend away - The location of the house is lovely and remote with no neighbours nearby. An easy 10 min drive into town for supermarkets, bakery, coffee etc. The pool was perfect for our stay as we had some hot days and the surroundings were peaceful. A great spot for a friend's weekend away and we enjoyed the game room with pool table and table tennis. The house is spacious but could do with some updating here and there. A few things to note: the carpets are old and stained (being white, not ideal for a guest house). There was animal poo right at the front door. Only two garbage bags for 10 ppl?! We found 2 dead bunnies in the pool and spa which was upsetting. Many leaves in the pool like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The outside umbrellas were part broken/bent. The hot water ran out for some. Better towels needed, some towels looked like bedsheets?! No toiletries despite ad saying they were provided. The one decent knife was blunt and only one remote for all the air conditioning units around the house. Some would randomly blow out hot air when cool was needed. The owners need to note to all guests of the railway line nearby with no signals or gates, quite dangerous and easily missed as it was by each of us who stayed. These are things that if fixed would have made the stay 10/10.
• Robert (7/5): It did the trick - There was enough room for 4 families. The outdoor spa was beautiful and warm on the 2 cold nights that we were there. We didnt have enough good quality bath towels. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the house on the first night. We had to buy our own spray and mozzy deterrent. There were no spare garbage bags. We had to buy our own. Toilet paper was minimal. Basics i think should be supplied.

• Robert (6/5): Disappointing, for the price. - Beautiful house, stunning setting. There had been some mistake which, to their credit, they did try to rectify- we had no towels or glasses. However once they were delivered we realised we had no coffee pods or other coffee in the house, no milk, no soap in one bathroom, and no tea towels in the kitchen. Also there was a toiletries bag, and hair everywhere in one of the bathroom drawers in the main bedroom - yuk The garden was a bit overgrown. Quite dissatisfied overall.
• Anjani (7/5): Good - Location In master bedroom bathroom shower water was not draining . It went all over the bathroom when having shower . Need some maintainence for washrooms .
• Brendon (9/5): The property was perfect for a group vacation with plenty of space and privacy. - The property was well presented. Just far enough from town to have beautiful sprawling views, but just close enough if you need anything. The pool and spa were a great way to spend the afternoon. There was nothing to dislike.
• Pauline (9/5): Loved staying at Chentelle Park, it met our group’s needs perfectly. Highly recommend this accommodation - Spacious, quality furnishings and linen, luxurious feel, quiet, private, lovely scenery, swimming pool, games room, combustion heater, super comfortable beds, easy check-in, good communication with host. We didn’t know how to get the spa to heat.

• Dulcine (9/5): Comfortable seclusion - Great location and relaxing place to stay. Great farm views and seclusion but with all amenities are complete. Host was very responsive to all inquiries and issues. Pool was a bit dirty but easily cleaned.

• Elanna (6/5): beautiful location and views, needs an overhaul of the finer details to the property for the price they are asking in th - location and views were stunning. walking around the property was lovely. enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. two baths which had windows to admire the view. Communication regarding access to the accommodation was only sent 10 minutes before our arrival time and was sent via email when all communication stated it would be received via text message.The code lock door access took 20 mins and multiple lockouts before getting in. we required troubleshooting from the owner. The pool was green on arrival (Friday) and then an unannounced pool person arrived (Saturday) to service the pool whilst a person was showering in the bathroom with no curtains that looks down onto the pool pump area. we were not given any information regarding if the pool was safe to use or when, but it did clear (not green) by the afternoon. Disappointing when the weather was perfect for swimming and a main reason for renting the space. After walking barefoot in the main tiled area downstairs my feet were black which suggests no recent cleaning. Spiders and webs in the corners of rooms and a dead fly stuck to the upstairs wall also suggests that cleaning was not done throughly upstairs either. The owners have food left at the property in communal areas in the kitchen and games room. Dirty oven mitt left in a drawer. No tea towels for the kitchen. Listed as a farm stay but not a farm animal in sight, should only be listed as country acreage. Lots of paddocks. The smoke alarm was open and had no battery inside on the lower floor, the owner was notified not long after arrival and his response was that he would be in touch with maintenance and get back to us. This did not happen and was not rectified. Gardens around the house area at the rear were untidy with grass not mowed, weeds coming up through the hedges. compared to the well maintained front of the house. There is no house guide/manual or welcome guide to explain functionalities of the house, rules or guidelines to follow. How does the a/c, oven, tv/stereo, spa work etc?. A map of the property should be provided, including all boundaries and the appropriate paths to explore.
