Guest Reviews
- Bernard (10/5): Cozy and convenient - This basement suite didn’t feel like being in a basement at all. The ceilings were high and the space was very bright and felt spacious. The flat is smartly decorated and is equipped with everything you could need. We visited during the winter and were always warm and cozy. The parking spot was a big plus as you can not park over night in Toronto with out a permit. We crossed paths with the folks living upstairs a couple of times and they were very nice. This is not a criticism but to note that the property is not super central but there are delightful little hubs close by to explore. Corso Italia is a 15 minute walk north and there is a cluster of little cafes one block south of the property.
- Mary Joanne (5/5): - Toronto nearby downtown Sofa had stain, parking was too small for our F150 and it was 2x pricey for a bedroom basement rental compared to a hotel
- Doriane (6/5): - Quiet Very cold very cold
J’ai eu froid toute la nuit et le matin.
- Jennifer (1/5): Terrible - Location pleasant Pile of junk & rubbish & ashtray overflowing with old cigarette butts at entrance
Steep, slippery, narrow, dangerous stairway
Hairs in fridge & handbasin. Stain on settee
Broken shower hose. Missing door handles
Noise from hot water heater and air conditioning plant in cupboard by bedroom door. Woken most nights (4 times one night at 2.20, 3.40, 4.10 & 5.15) by the noise of machinery turning on/off. Air conditioning controlled by upstairs flat, no controls at all in basement. Icy cold air blasting, had to put electric fire on.
Noise from upstairs tenants
Only one set of sheets supplied for ten-night stay
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (7/5): Overall, a comfortable stay, a bit far from downtown but close to efficient public transit. - It was clean, comfortable and had what we needed. The kitchen lighting was a bit dim, the toilet didn’t flush well, the bathroom sink didn’t drain well, and there were a couple of stains on the couch.
- Cousins (10/5): My stay was wonderful, would totally return -
- Wray (10/5): Exceptional - Great for the money Nothing
- Sasha (8/5): Great and recommended - Great stay, easy check in and check out and the host was very responsive. A bit far from the metro; you need to take a bus to connect but we knew that going in.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Great chilling system in the summer months spacious quiet and near to city centre
- Joseph (7/5): Good ti - Good value and check-in process. Any issues were solved quickly. It was a bit too cold during our stay, and the toilet and sinks had some issues.
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness, lovely space and all the necessary things provided, didn't have to worry about shampoo etc, didn't have to buy anything extra, everything was at Hand. It was very comfortable.
- David (8/5): Basement flat in Toronto - Good facilities. Clean. Helpful owners No windows. Bus then metro to get into town
