• Marek (4/5): We were using thew hotel pool ,because the beach was full of sargasm, seaweeds. - No breakfast, Location was good. GPS could Not find this place ,because the owners didn't specify that this apartment is inside Cancun Plaza Hotel. The apartment had a moldy smell, small bugs running around, ,bad internet connection and complicated electrical cook tap that we couldn't figure out how to use! Although the location was god on the 5th. floor with nice Sea view.

The room was quite old and not clean. Everytime you come to the hotel or go out they will stop you, ask for your name before opening the door for you.

In addition it has a quite nice and very The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had basic facilities. Good working Internet. Martha was very easily reachable via Whatsapp. For the value it was a great short term stay. Location drawbacks: there are only two small convenience stores. Apartment: it is quite old, with thin windows, so it is quite loud when the wind blows. The hot water pressure in the shower is very low. Not much hot water comes out. A water kettle would be appreciated. Otherwise all good for 1-3 nights.

El apartamento tiene todo lo que se necesita para una estancia agradable. La estructura es la del hotel Cancún Plaza, así que se puede disfrutar de una bonita piscina infinity si el mar está muy movido. Todo en la habitación está bastante viejo, desde los electrodomésticos hasta los muebles en sí. Si uno se espera el lujo de la zona hotelera, mejor elegir otra opción. A nosotros nos vino bien por la ubicación, puesto que al estar en la parte final de la zona está ya más cerca del aeropuerto y nos alojamos solo la última noche para despedirnos de México.

No hay nada que diga capitan suites, nos costó un poco ubicar cual era la entrada, me parece que es airbnb. Y los meseros del restaurante podrían ser más rápidos, pero si son amables y la vista al mar lo vale.

La habitación es muy cómoda, las camas confortables, todo muy limpió. Tiene cocina con todo lo necesario para prepárarte algo allí mismo. Al frente del condominio pasa el transporte público a cada rato, a precio muy accesible para ir al centro de cancun o visitar cualquier lugar de la zona hotelera. Un gran plus es que tiene un Oxxo muy cerca, para comprar lo que necesites, incluso comida preparada. El condominio cuenta con piscina, la cuál es súper linda y muy limpia, con sus respectivos camastros y sillas y un restaurante con precios muy accesibles, el personal muy amable. En resumen se los recomiendo muchísimo, por mi parte volveré y se lo recomendaría a familiares y amigos. Todo muy bien. La anfitriona me ayudó siempre que la necesitaba. .

Nous avions la chance que ce ne soit pas plein : place disponible sur les transats de la piscine et de la plage, place au restaurant. La salle de bain était trop petite. Dès l arrivée, le sol n était pas propre et j ai détesté marcher pieds nus. Il ne faut pas regarder le plafond ou les raccords (peinture). Enfin, les uber galèrent à trouver l emplacement car le nom est Cancun plaza. À 20 minutes de Cancun.

• Julia (1/5): Not a hotel, a private individual’s condo pretending to be legitimate on Booking.com! No customer service, awful shitty - Warning! This is a scam!! This is a private individual using booking.com to rent out their own condo at an impossible to find shitty apartment complex. Don’t be fooled by booking.com’s legitimacy like I was!! This is the equivalent of an Airbnb/VRBO in some random guys condo. Horrible horrible customer service, horrible building, no refund when realized it wasn’t a normal hotel booking. Contact representative is a complete jerk. Beware this is a private individual renting out his apartment!! This is not a hotel, it is not through the reception and is equivalent to an Airbnb! When booking I believed that it was a legitimate hotel since I was booking through booking.com but when I finally arrived (finding the building took 1.5 hours as google maps does not have its location?!) we had to go from hotel to hotel and ask each if it was Capitan Suites Sea View. After searching for so long we finally find it, go to the reception and they tell us they can’t help us, we need to get a code from the individual who we booked with. We had arrived at 7am that morning after a red-eye and the person we’d been messaging with on Booking.com had agreed to let us into the room at 1pm due to us waiting around for 5-6 hours. When the reception told us they were not involved in the booking I messaged the owner and they said we could not check in early, we had to wait 3 more hours, he didn’t give us the code to the door until we had already waited outside the lobby for 45 minutes, then denied that he said we could check in early. My husband and I were exhausted and pissed at the misleading advertisement we made through a normally legitimate site Booking.com. While sitting in the parking lot we called booking.com customer service which took 15 minutes just to get past their AI operator only to be hung up on, we called again same 15 minutes to speak to a human, the representative said they would submit a claim to have our stay fully refunded but it would be 48 hours before we knew if we were getting our money back. After hours of frustration and annoyance that we booked a room at a normal hotel and immediately checked in and had a great time. I never received a refund and am now having to take it off my card. Do not book here

Eco hotel, echte aanrader!

Beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the artistic touches in the room. The restaurant and bar at the complex were excellent. Staff was very helpful. I felt very safe here and on the beach. It was a little hard to find. The description didn't say the room is located in Cancun Plaza. So we had to look at a map with a local guy at the airport, but the address in Google maps leads you to a restaurant across the street. We guessed it was in Cancun Plaza and we were right.

The poolside restaurant was wonderful and good value. The rooftop above the restaurant offered lovely loungers and a dip pool. The suite is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchenette and a nice tiled bathroom. The best part has to be the balcony and view of the pool and sea! Parts of the building are showing wear but the suite is lovely and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this suite as a great value. The whole property had a pleasant atmosphere. I found the beds and pillows to be a little too extra firm for my liking.

• Malgorzata (8/5): Amazing view, lovely beach, nice pool, friendly staff - Amazing view, lovely beach, nice pool, friendly staff, not a party place. Could not close the windows fully so it was super loud in the room all day and all night (because of the wind).
• James (8/5): The facility was nice. - Very poor directions. The unit is in the Cancun Plaza building, one of several at km 19.5!!! Cancun Plaza is on the map.

• Ilana (8/5): It was super pleasant. Watch for the little step off the second bedroom. I missed it and broke my foot. Shared this with - The apartment we stayed in was a corner suite with amazing beach views and a balcony. Nice beach, nice pool, nice restaraunt and ability to cook in apartment. Very secure. laundromat and convenience store on property. Supermarket 10 minute drive away. A few pricey restaraunt close by. Great location away from the craziness of Cancun but close enough to get there easily. The building is a little run down but okay. Water leakage during a storm wet things near sliding doors to balcony.
