- Dominic (8/5): - Room was comfortable, and exactly what I needed for a super quick stay in Madrid. Price was reasonable, especially last minute.

- Rita Maria (5/5): Coisas a melhorar - Localização incrível
Boa comunicação O quarto não correspondeu com as fotos.
O colechão estava com uma cobertura de plástico bastante ruidosa.

- David (5/5): Decent Accommodations, Host is a REALLY BAD communicator! Very low effort host - Acceptable accommodations, great water pressure and temp…but beyond that the host was very unhelpful. Most places send you instructions the day of arrival. Crickets from Julissa. After I called, she sent a 5mb VIDEO! Still have not downloaded it because of the slow phone service. Who wants to use that much data for simple directions!
So I call her AGAIN and she keeps saying she opened the door but she doesn’t bother telling me the street address until later on in the conversation. (I was trying the door at a defunct hostel a block away)
Once in the building, she repeatedly tells me to go up to the 3rd floor, but never bothered to tell me WHICH ROOM on the third floor. I call AGAIN and she refers me to the video. No less than 4 calls to get proper directions!
REALLY BAD communicator - probably the worst in my experience on Booking dot com. Julissa seemed distracted and uninterested in being helpful. Just look at the listing title- NO effort! Also, no local recommendations or tips - nothing! Very low effort from the host.
Also, they have a blinding motion sensor light that goes on and off until 2am then starts again at 5am. Don’t expect to get any rest. No blinds either.
If you have no alternative but to stay there, the street number is 42, door number is 14 on the third floor. (Recite this to future guests, Julissa. It’s THAT simple!)
Mods, feel free to delete that last paragraph. Something tells me they are secretive about this listing location because it’s not permitted in this building.
Part of me feels bad leaving this review because the room I was in belonged to a little girl. No one wants to deprive her parents of a little extra money, but, sheesh, host should try a little harder knowing this!
- Hongwei (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (6/5): Only a Room for Rent, not an Air BnB type place. - Use of Kitchen.
Private Room with separate key lock.
TV and WiFi.
Nice Owner.
Has an Elevator. We didn't realize the owner would be staying there, too.
Our "Breakfast Included" for 2 Days was 1 small package of Turkey Lunchmeat, 1loaf of Bread and 1liter of Milk. We were allowed to use the coffee, but there was only enough coffee for 1&1/2 cups left.
Bathroom and shower are very tiny.
- Cassandra (7/5): Tiny space, clean and economic - The apartment itself was tiny. Our room was fine for spending the one night with 2 beds for the 3 of us. We never saw the hosts which was fine as it could have been awkward due to tiny space. The building itself was very old but had a working elevator and the doorman was very nice. A bit far from the train station but close to metro. Breakfast was packaged stuff so we chose to eat later in a bar-restaurant. Just too small a space overall. Awkward when booking a room in someone´s flat. Tiny bathroom as well.
- Shimal (9/5): Very good - Everything Nothing
- Martina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Manimozhi (7/5): Good -
- Irene (5/5): Passable - The apartment was perfectly clean. The hosts left plenty of food for us to have for breakfast, snacks, etc., and they were happy enough to let us grab whatever we wanted to. There was aircon in the bedroom, which is a must for Madrid in July, but not all accommodations have it. The location is pretty good - very close to the Pacífico metro station and a 15-20 minute walk to Atocha. The hosts were not noisy at all (except for the situation I'll describe below) We didn't realise that we would be sharing the house with the hosts - it's only mentioned at the very bottom of the Booking page, but I acknowledge it was our fault for not reading it all. It's a tiny apartment, approximately 40 sqm and only 1 bathroom, which is very small for 6 people. The room barely fit a double bed and a single bed for the 3 of us, so there was no space to move around.
One day we were surprised by the smell of weed. The hosts can do whatever they want since it's their house, however, given the size of the apartment, the whole place stank, which was quite unpleasant. That same day the power went off - we assumed the hosts were in their room, so we waited for a bit to see if they'd come check it out, but they didn't. I texted them and they replied straight away. I fixed it and around 30 mins later they came out of their room to leave the house - so they were there, but they didn't do anything to fix the power issue.
Something that is not mentioned anywhere: the hosts have a child - I can understand this might not be on the ad for safety reasons, and she was perfectly well-behaved, but not everybody wants to share a house with a kid on their holidays.
The cherry on top was that, on the last day of our stay, we were woken up by her crying in the other room. We didn't think much of it, as we thought one of her parents would comfort her soon enough - but she suddenly opened our room's door screaming "my mum, my mum!". We don't fault her at all, she was scared, and so were we, as we thought maybe something had happened, but we were surprised when we found out that she had been left on her own with no supervision, and evidently we hadn't been informed of the situation either.

- Zsuzsanna (3/5): This is a flat of a family who live there. You should use the bathroom, the kitchen the kiving room together just get a - The location. It turnd out after our arriving that it is not an appartment as seen on the pictures but only a room in somebody’ s flat who lives there with his family.
- Ben (7/5): Good - Great collection of complementary fragrances and beauty products to choose from. Friendly couple who washed and dried my clothes upon request. Not the most easy process locating the premises. Calling to meet up n foyer or the get floor number helps greatly.
- Lyra (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts were super accommodating, letting me store my bag early. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need if you’re looking for a place to crash at night and make a meal. I loved the location near the park and walking distance to the train station. Great value! For the price point, there is nothing negative about this place.
