Thuy (1/5): Terrible and disgusting ! - Nothing Be careful if you want to book an accommodation here. I booked this place because of the 8.0 rating on Booking.com and the pictures they posted (it looked clean and new). In reality, it was too small and dirty, and the homestay owner (or staff) was also too rude. The bed sheets were dirty, the towels look like they have been used for many years, and the bathroom was too old and dirty. They even reused the trash plastic bag. Overall, it was like an abandoned room. I couldn't use anything in that room (the fridge smelt terrible, the bathroom had no hot water, and the water flow was too weak,...). It was disgusting. Because my flight was delayed, I checked in at around 1am (I asked in advance if it was ok for them if I checked in late, and they said ok). The owner (or staff) took me to the room, and he wanted to close the door to talk to me in that small room. I opened the door, but he kept closing it. He even taught me how to lock the door, and he kept locking it until he left. Then he introduced about the room many times and took my money there without any receipts (I paid for 4 nights). I felt he disturbed my rest after a long flight because he spoke too much that time. After he left, I took a closer look at the room, and also because of other reasons, I texted him that I wanted to check out, then he came to disturb me again at 2:30 am. He knocked on the door and asked me to speak to him repeatedly. He forced me to talk to him even though I did not want it. After I opened the door, he asked why I didn't answer his messages, and then he entered my room and closed the door without asking my permission. It was horrible! I couldn't sleep in that dirty bed and room that night. I waited until early morning to leave and threw away all the money I paid him. I felt like he looked down on his customer.

Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - The room was so lovely and spacious. Very modern as well. The hotel is tucked down an alley way so it was nice and quiet. The location was nice and central, close to the walking street. The owners were also so nice and accommodating.
Emily (6/5): Great location, cleanliness okay - - The location is great, close to everything and in a nice little culdesac so away from the hustle and bustle slightly - Air con was really good!! - Fridge was cold which was nice - Firstly, the toilet didn't have a toilet seat on it. I feel like it's just standard when you go and stay somewhere and pay a bigger price than normal to have a toilet seat on the toilet. This really wasn't a great start and I did mention to the gentleman who showed us the room and he said something along the lines of 'the owner thinks it's better'. The room stank because the toilet stank and just wasn't nice really. -The en suite is TINY. So small. - I wanted to put the water hotter for the shower and every time I did, we had a power cut so the shower was a little lukewarm. - The room is very dull and dark. The window looks out to the inside of the building so no natural light which made the room feel like it was nighttime all the time. - The cleanliness could be better, didn't feel like the room had ever been mopped
Jan-peter (10/5): Clean and quiet room - The room was very clean, with good air conditioning, and very quiet at night. Very close to the everything and nice restaurants and coffee shops right around the corner. The host is also very friendly and helpful. My best stay in Ho Chi Minh City so far.
