• Kathleen (8/5): Great single night stay option - good value - Quite a comfortable stay at Snowy River Lodge. Beds are good, rooms are quiet and very little traffic noise. Owner is super helpful and goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are very small but well equipped. Very affordable. Just the room size. It was a bit tight for two people.

• Kody (8/5): This was a nicest place we stayed during our whole trip, and relatively affordable. - The rooms were spacious, everything was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower’s water pressure wasn’t great, and the hot was a bit finicky. It also had a plastic kettle, which isn’t good because of microplastics.

• Jeffrey (9/5): - The Hosts were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with enough room for the 4 of us to not be in each others space. With a microwave, kettle and toaster and basic cutlery, there was everything you needed. The grounds were also nice and well kept.

Had a window with a nice view of garden and trees. No road noise The property looks very run down. Cold room and very noisy aircon which couldn’t heat the room. They do supply extra blankets but it was freezing. The bathroom although clean looks terrible very over due for a renovation.

We got there after the office had closed but they made sure we could get into our room and have a restfull nights sleep. Leaving early in the morning was very easy. I would recommend staying here to anyone and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much 😊

• Jas (9/5): Superb - I am very happy with stay. I really appreciate gesture of host as i reached late unaware everything will be closed. So, they provided milk for my child. It made my stay smooth. Room had all facilities like heating,Tv,microwave,cutlery, fridge,toaster and kettle.

When we arrived in the rain, it looked a bit underwhelming however it was actually really great. The staff were helpful, the room had everything we needed, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, utensils, washing up liquid and sponge, tea towel etc. hot water!! Yay! Heating, WiFi, fresh smelling sheets. Being on a road trip, this little motel was perfect for our one night stop. Not walking distance to Orbost but only a short drive. Was a really great place to stay. The huge moths outside the door 🤣

The buildings are old and look drab. A fresh coat of paint would brighten the appearance. Insect screens missing. General appearance around buildings and entrance looked a bit untidy.

• Dana (7/5): Good stop to break our journey, friendly staff. - Even though it was on a main road it was set back off the road and was very quiet. The bush land behind our room was a nice aspect through the windows. Not too far from Orbost but you couldn’t walk there.
