• Phoebe (10/5): - Excellent staff & hospitality. Beutiful views of Trongsa Zong, Museum & town amidst the mountains & valleys. Music of birds chirpping through the day while enjoying the Sea of Clouds in early mornings presenting an ever changing landscape driven by Mother Nature. Food is great. Suite rooms offer a bath tub with hot mineral rich water with balance PH (water is blue). Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath with greay views! Hot water for shower with strong pressure amd consistent flows really great for comfort. Beds are fantastic with regular house keeping at least 2xs a day, including making beds while we are off for dinner. Nothing. Perhaps for others the lack of activities in Trongsa. However, this is exactly what makes this place perfect for a good rest.

• Lars (4/5): Nice but not worth the price - Outside Trongsa with beautiful view into the valley. Charged higher price than indicated in booking.com. On top of Final price including tax 10% service was charged. So watch out hidden charges not declared. The way to the resort is unpaved and rough, you will not make it up when raining. We had no warm water in the bathroom. Dinner at the hotel was clearly overpriced for what was offered. They are advantage of no alternatives around.
• Giulia (6/5): Best view, but payment surprises - The location is truly incredible and the view over the Trongsa valley is amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean and staff is helpful. The road to get to the resort is however very challenging. But the main reason for a lower score is because we really did not appreciate the 10% service charge added on our bill that was never included in our Booking.com reservation (all charges and fees need to be visible to the paying guests). There is also a 3% credit card fee also not highlighted at booking point. Finally, the dinner is the most expensive we had in Bhutan (but definitely not the best, stick with the Bhutanese dishes, the others are not good) and the price of it was not made clear until check out.

Maybe the price of the dinner, quite costly compared to other venues, but the food was delicious on the other hand

It truly feels like you're perched among the clouds. Pema and his family went above and beyond with their hospitality, making the stay exceptional. Highly recommended! No trip to Bhutan is complete without experiencing these awe-inspiring vistas.
