- Bertolucci (10/5): - I couldn't use Netflix
- Sarah (10/5): A very cosy home away from home - I loved my stay here, it felt very cosy and I truly had the chance to unwind and switch off from the world. The fireplace was the highlight for me, however, the whole property was incredible. The heating works wonderfully without the use of the fireplace and nice versa. There isn’t anything I didn’t like - I wouldn’t change a thing!
- Gags (5/5): Passable - Cleaning needed to be looked at, New linen needed towels were grey and thin. Floors and furniture were covered in dog fur. Trays in oven dirty no foil to be able to cover them for use. No condiments for guests use, dish clothes had been used and were dirty. Dog droppings in garden and smell at back door.
- Dina (10/5): Beautiful, Exceptional and Unique - Property is beautiful, exceptional and unique. All creature comforts, very stylish decor, great location, fireplace a highlight, lit up glasshouse an outstanding feature, luxurious touches and attention to detail. Hosts attentive and easy to communicate with. Property very private and secluded with amazing views of the sunset and city lights below. Travellers may want to know that firewood comes with added fee but completely worth it as fireplace is one of the property's best features.
- Tonia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (9/5): Superb - The property was beautiful, stylish, comfortable and in a great location. It had everything we needed to make it a great holiday house.
- Hermocilla (10/5): Amazing stay beautiful design love glass house with light bulbs nice location and view amenities would definitely stay a - View. Space furniture glasshouse facilities location There’s a step outside I fell over so did my sister! I didn’t see the step from front door going down to ground. (Where ferns are either side). I grazed my knee . maybe a sign or way to distinguish step to ground would be good as I think the left hand fern as you step out disguises it , before going downward to car.
Also slipped going down to twin bed floor, steep and bit slippery steps. maybe non slip mat may help or warning sign. Lucky I could grab onto rocks to help me not fall down to the bottom.
- Carissa (10/5): Exceptional - All of it! Bed, bath, fireplace, kitchen, it really had it all!
- Nicholas (10/5): Perfect getaway for my small family - Amazing views! Cute house! Nothing
- Dani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - The property was exactly as pictured. Extremely cosy and picturesque. The fireplace was our favourite feature and added the extra warmth we were after. A beautiful property to stay at. Especially during the colder months.
- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful view - Beautiful and convenient location and view from the room. It’s a great self contained unit/house. Beautiful, modern and stylish decor. The place was nice and clean. Lots of communal items in the pantry, fridge and freezer which was handy. All linen and towels were provided. There is a dish washer and washing machine/dryer. Great suggestions were provided on what to do in the area. The supermarkets we went to were about 10-15 minutes away and there’s a cafe within a few minutes walk. It would have been good to have face washers towels provided. Thanks. The toilet and bathroom is downstairs, people with mobility issues need to be mindful of that.
- Tahlia (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely hidden off the main road, and the owners are super nice!
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - My partner and I enjoyed a beautiful escape for one night here. It was a charming and immersive experience with nature. The friendly hosts, comfortable amenities, and the environment surrounding the home made it a memorable little retreat.
- Albert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Liang-chun (8/5): Very good - The interior design, furniture, color and the view. I fell when I went downstair to bathroom as the stair is very slippery. Especially when the bathroom is downstair and you have to go downstair several times. I strongly suggest to add non-slip mat on the stair or something with similar function.
- Melyssa (10/5): Beautiful, cosy and incredible home . Will stay again :) -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - The hydronic heating and fire place were lovely The whole property was on a hillside. I didn't realise that there were so many stairs. A flight of stairs to get into the house and then very steep internal stairs to go to the only toilet/bathroom.
The main bedroom was a walk through so no privacy from other guests going to the toilet or living areas.
- Nicole (10/5): A peaceful getaway for winter - Fireplace ready to light, beautiful views and everything very clean.
- Alana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marinos (10/5): Magical Escape -
- Mel_bug (5/5): Cute! - Beautiful spot, cute place! Very easy to access with lock box, informative hosts. Love the styling throughout, particularly in the bathroom. Nice being surrounded by trees. Kit kat is a nice addition. The main reason I chose this place was the fireplace. There were a few dry logs inside but no kindling, so unfortunately, regardless of fire lighters, it was impossible to get a consistent fire going as it was very wet outside. We wasted a lot of time on it. The bath caddy is a bit small, awkward.. you can get extendable ones that would fit much better. Side note that didn't affect us.. The bathroom is down steep stairs. The spare room exits into a hall that has access to the bathroom, and main bedroom. You have to pass through the main bedroom, from the second room to get to the kitchen. Would be interesting with multiple guests staying.. The kitchen could also use a bread knife :)
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely relaxing stay the house was very comfortable and clean and a hassle free check-in. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and explore what the Dandenong Rangers has to offer. The place was very neat & tidy and the heating was fantastic not stuffy at all.
