Guest Reviews
- Vami (9/5): Will visit again. - Absolutely love it. Very relaxing, private and peaceful. The second bedroom only had x2 small beds not made up to a double.
Toilet being down stairs.
- huaying (9/5): This beautiful and character-filled cottage is definitely worth a stay. We highly recommend it. - My parents absolutely loved this unique cottage. We could walk to a beautiful private beach, which made the stay even more special.
The host also provided a wide range of leisure equipment, such as bikes, fishing rods, a picnic basket, and even kayaks. You could easily spend the whole day here without getting bored.
One afternoon, my husband, my dad, and I rode the bikes down to the beach. We saw black swans gliding across the water and many other birds we couldn’t even name. the scenery was absolutely stunning. Sitting there together, taking it all in, became a truly unforgettable memory for the three of us.
In the evening, We sat together, watching the firewood crackling in the stove, chatting and relaxing. it was such a warm and happy moment. The kitchen facilities are a little dated, but it fits well with the charm of such a character-filled cottage.
- Joy (10/5): Gorgeous historical cottage. - Position. Lovely views, very peaceful. Nice walk on beach.
Met owner, friendly and ready to help with any issues. Steps from stairs to lounge had tiles that blended with floor. Fall risk for us oldies.

- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Kyle (10/5): Absolutely Fantastic. Nothing more or less. - Amazing location - Rural. Quite. Peaceful. Historical building. Short walk to the beach. Wildlife. Farm animals.
Kids rooms - heated blankets, loads of books and teddies.
Kitchen - kids crockery, loads of extras. Extremely minor cleanliness things.
- Tams (9/5): A quaint experience - The property backs onto the beach via a river inlet. Amazing access to the beach and lots of bird life, swans, oyster catchers, stints, plovers, pelicans, herons and more. A few things need a bit of maintenance mainly the bench outside on the verandah is broken and unstable. The TV is old and does not work well.
- Mary-lou (10/5): Comfortable, warm & cosy. - Great location
Didn’t have breakfast Nothing beautiful spot
- Jennifer (10/5): A quaint cottage by the sea. Lovely smelling linen and towels. Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful location to spend a few - The location was incredible. Being so close to the beach and in a rural setting made for stunning scenery. We walked the beach and then through the paddock filled with sheep to a local swimming hole which had swans and sizeable fish. So beautiful. There was nothing at all not to like. We would love to live here!
- Taryn (8/5): Super cute little cottage. We enjoyed exploring the property and learning the history of the cottage. - We loved reading about this history of the property, going for beach walks and visiting the sheep as they were down by the water in the afternoon. Compared to our other air bnb stays I feel this one was a little overpriced. But it was a lovely stay.

- Ange (10/5): Beautiful private little cottage with amazing views. - Beautiful location, cosy little cottage with amazing views over the water. We didn’t want to leave! Absolutely will be back.
- Alexey (1/5): avoid like the plague because you'll be cold and potentially sick of the water. - looked nice from the ousidry no heating. fireplace full of ash, no firewood, no fire starter, no tinder. narrow stairs, cold rooms, cold house, no matter the way to get warm. no safe water to drink or bathe in. unfiltered river water, not super safe...
