- Adam (9/5): Relaxing stay - The apartment was very clean. If you want to just relax, the location is amazing for relaxing as it is right next to Lake Gutierrez but not so great for getting to other places. Regarding location, while you can start the Frey Trek from Lake Gutierrez I strongly recommend doing it from Villa Catedral as the scenery on that route is so much nicer. I went up from Lake Gutierrez and down to Villa Catedral but it was slightly annoying get from the Vila Catedral back to the apartment It didn't have a few basic essentials, e.g. a colander, a sharp knife for chopping vegetables. The internet wasn't great so I couldn't watch netflix. As mentioned above, if your main goal is to do activities rather than relax then it might be better to stay in Bariloche centre rather than near Lake Gutierrez.
