• Nellie (10/5): Nice for 1 night! The - I liked it for 1 night. Just to see Gjipe beach. Its a long and tight road for cars to the hotel and not a road you want to ride more than up and down. Also, be prepared for the long walk to the beach. I had higher expectations.. but i was nice to see.

• Katherine (9/5): - Incredible breakfast! Large spacious room, very clean. Basic but had everything you need for a short stay to visit Gjipe. Owners friendly and helpful. Peaceful location. Nothing about the hotel but the beach needs clearing of rubbish.

Kreshnik and Ilia were amazing hosts—kind, welcoming, and always making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning service, air conditioning, and hot water. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh coffee served every morning. The location is perfect, close to the beautiful Gjipe Beach. We felt safe, relaxed, and truly welcomed! We will definitely be coming back!

• Beatriz_Fonseca (6/5): Deixou a desejar. - O quarto era espaçoso. O pequeno almoço era variado. Não tivemos de pagar o estacionamento e estávamos perto da entrada do trilho para a praia. Muitas vespas, inclusive havia um ninho na entrada - pelo que era um pesadelo comer na rua (tivemos de comer lá dentro); ao entrar no carro, entraram também as vespas... é compreensível que num local de campo hajam estes animais, mas era um descontrolo total... podiam tentar tomar algumas medidas preventivas (p.e.: tirar o ninho da entrada). O staff não parecia importar-se muito. Perdi lá o meu chapéu e não obtive nenhuma resposta do alojamento sobre se tinham encontrado (embora já não tivesse tempo de o ir buscar, dado ser um grande desvio para este local). A estrada só deixa passar carros numa direção.
• Dana (7/5): - La possibilità di fare colazione e la gentilezza del personale, avendo alloggiato lì ci hanno fatto parcheggiare gratuitamente per tutta la giornata (per chi non alloggia il parcheggio è a pagamento per visitare la spiaggia di gjipe) Bagno da rivedere, molti insetti e api ma essendo in mezzo alla natura è abbastanza normale. Assolutamente brutta la strada per arrivarci, non passano due macchine insieme, ma d’altronde per arrivare alla spiaggia la strada è sempre quella

• Ullrich (2/5): Kann ich niemanden empfehlen. Die Anfahrt ist schon eine Katastrophe sowie die Lage und von einen Horizont weit entfernt - Überhaupt nichts, es war sauber das ist auch schon alles. Frühstück eine einzige Katastrophe, zwei Kleiderbügel gab es nur, noch nicht mal ein Stuhl. Preis wie ein Hotel , Preis Leistung komplett daneben. Gar nichts. Eine Frechheit so einen Preis zu verlangen.

• Maira (8/5): - The hotel is close to a really nice beach with caves. It offers nice breakfast and small bar to get snacks and drinks. The place has a bit of a weird smell. And it is certainly overpriced. But as this is the closest we can get to the beach, it is worth the stay for one night.

• Elvira (2/5): Das nächste Mal irgendwo anders gehen - Nur die Lage , denn es ist gut bis zu gjipe Essen war nicht gut , verdorbene Eier, und kein frisches Essen , besser alleine Essen bringen an solchen Orten, die Dusche war nicht richtig installiert , der Preis ist zu hoch für das was das Hotel offeriert , also ist eigentlich kein Hotel , sondern es privates Heim mit Räumen , hat nichts zu tun mit Hotel. Nur die Frau von Personal war sehr freundlich und Sie war die einzige die alles tat , putzen , essen stellen , an der Bar arbeiten. Das beste was man tun sollte ist irgendwo anders ein Zimmer zu buchen und ein Boot zu nehmen wenn man an der Gjipe Strand möchte

• Laura (1/5): Horrible stench of sewage made for an unpleasant stay! - Honestly, the room wasn’t too bad but it became completely irrelevant because of the stench of sewage in the room. First, not in Dhërmi city and though close not the best location, see bottom of review. But, more importantly it smelled SO BAD of sewage in the room. We didn’t notice when we arrived because they were smart to have the windows open, but when we closed to use the aircon and then left for dinner, with the windows closed, we came back to a room which was less than pleasant. We thought it was a temporary issue with the drain, so we aired out, showered, and went to bed. Windows closed for A/C. During the night, the stench from the bathroom became so bad that we woke up several times and had to air out. The hotel doesn’t have 24/7 reception, so we wanted to complain in the morning after very little sleet (I gave up at 5:30 and went out to read on the terrace by the bar). By then, we got told off by the staff for not having said anything before (what?!?). And they even said we should have called them, which I would have never considered or thought about. We got compensated by TWO CAPPUCCINOS only for breakfast and when I asked about actual compensation (monetary) the older man of the family got offended, angry with me, started telling me off in Albanian and tried to convince me that we couldn’t get any money back because the money “was in the machine” (we had paid by card). The woman had at least apologised a few times, but as soon as I mentioned money/compensation, all she said was “You didn’t call!” and she let her husband do the scolding/discussing. Very rude and unpleasant end to a very unpleasant and unappealing stay with a horrible stench. The stench was so bad that we had to shower and get ready in the morning in a communal toilet outside of the room in the common area. We could not stay in the room let alone be in the bathroom! Breakfast had a good amount of option, but bread and croissants were dry.

• Gabriela (7/5): - Izbu sme mali čistú poriadenú. Kúsok od hotela je pláž ale pozor ide sa tam cca 25 minút po nie dobrom teréne. Ináč v okoli nič nie je je to fajn keď si chce človek odychnut od hluku mesta. Strašne je počuť hluk z ostatných izieb a z chodby čo budilo aj počas noci aj skoro ráno. Klíma je nasmerovaná tak že fuči akurát na posteľ čo je nie moc dobre riešenie

• Umut (5/5): Staat niet in verhouding met de prijs - Locatie geschikt als je het strand wil bezoeken. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet goed. Je betaalt kwa verhouding veel en veel te veel…. Ontbijt was prima. Maar je tweede kopje koffie moet je dan wel weer betalen. Jammer dat dit gewoon niet bij het ontbijt hoort. Personeel was overigens wel aardig en met name de dame zeer behulpzaam en gastvrij. Ruimte is echt schoon en hygiënisch Prijs is niet in verhouding met faciliteiten Ontbijt was niet incl meerdere warme drankjes, betalen voor je tweede koffie

• Stefanie (8/5): - Clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, AC, fridge and nice bathroom. The breakfast was varied and offered sweet and savoury options. Friendly staff. The walls are paper thin so you'll hear when people arrive/shower/talk etc especially at night/early morning. The access road is narrow and at rush hour to or from the beach quite impossible to use. The beach is about 20min away, and very crowded during the day.

• Nikola (10/5): - The hotel is directly opposite the Gjipe beach parking, so access to the beach cannot get any better. The staff were incredibly accommodating even tho we made the booking about an hour prior to our arrival. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible (they rearranged the restaurant tables so we could sit inside because there were wasps bothering us outside). The room was spacious and very clean, the WiFi worked great and there’s more than enough parking space. I would definitely recommend.

• Jana (9/5): Nice, modern, clean rooms close to a cool beach. - The accommodation looks better inside than outside. Outside it is a general building, inside the rooms are modern, clean, comfortable. We had one room with and second without a balcony. Rooms were spacious, light, with aircon. The staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was a buffet - bread, butter, jam, eggs, salami, veggies, fruit, yoghurts etc., coffee, water or juice. We walked to the Gjipe beach the next morning and the owner was supernice to let us park our cars there at no costs. The walk to Gjipe beach is very rocky, 1,8 km, not accessible in a standard car. I recommend to also walk the Gjipe gorge trail above the gorge. The surroundings of the hotel could be little nicer (looking from the balcony). The road leading to the hotel is tricky - fits only one car, has high curbs and a few bays for passing cars. Some situations were really interesting and advanturous.
• Toufik (8/5): A convenient place to stay in if visiting Gjipes beach - We had a pleasant stay. The place has spacy rooms with a refrigerator and large bed. Breakfast is basic but OK. Staff are nice and helpful. Parking is on site. The place profits primarily from its proximity to the Gjipes beach (30 minutes walk over a rough road) and their price reflects this. Otherwise, we rate it average compared to other places we stayed in throughout Albania. Our room had a unpleasant smell when entering. The probable source was the sewage in the bathroom.

Manque de prises de courant, manque lampe de chevet, pas de meuble pour poser ses affaires dans la salle de bain et surtout le prix de 81€ très cher par rapport à la prestation et les prix habituels en Albanie.

• Fany (9/5): Super chambre, et proximité direct avec la plage de Gjipé. - Je ne comprends pas certains commentaires ! Notre accueil a été top. Pas de négociation sur le prix. Le monsieur n’est pas « mal aimable » comme le dise certaines personnes, c’est juste qu’il ne parle pas très bien anglais… dans ces cas là que doivent dire les touristes lorsqu’ils arrivent en France !!! Et le parking est propre à l’hôtel, ce n’est pas du tout le même parking que celui de la Gjipé beach. Nous on a bien été accueillis, la chambre est IMMENSE gros plus !! Grand balcon. De quoi faire sécher le linge. La proximité avec la plage de Gjipé on ne peut pas faire mieux ! Ça permet d’y allez fin d’aprem quand il n’y a plus grand monde et de manger le soir sur la plage. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus étoffé avec de meilleurs produits. Attention pas de restaurants autour nous on y fait qu’une nuit pour descendre à la Gjipé beach et on a manger sur la place au resto le soir avant de remontrer à l’hôtel.
• Florine (7/5): Bien mais un peu trop onéreux. - La chambre était spacieuse. Il y a un petit bar où il y a de quoi manger et boire. Ils vendent quelques produits ce qui nous a dépanner lors de nos petits faims. Le personnel était sympa et serviable. Loin de tout, il n’y avait pas grand chose à faire autour. Difficile d’accès car la route pour y parvenir était étroite et elle ne permettait pas l’accès dans les deux sens. L’odeur dans la salle de bain était un peu désagréable…

• Hania (4/5): - Sur le parking de la plage. Malgré la marche de 20 minutes mais ça c'est pour tout le monde. C'était un des rares "hôtel" disponible à cause du kala festival, on le savait pas donc si vous ne participez pas à ce festival il faut absolument éviter cette ville à cette période. La chambre sent les égouts et c'est horrible, j'ai demandé de l'air fresh! Petit déjeuner décevant. C'est plus auberge de jeunesse. Un peu cher pour ce qui est (le plus cher qu'on ai payé en albanie et c'est le plus mauvais) L'accès se fait sur une route d'une seule voie sur 3km .il faut espérer ne pas croiser une voiture car sinon il faut faire une marche arrière jusqu'à le premier emplacement d'arrêt d'urgence. Loin de la ville

• Lukas (9/5): - Sehr nah am gjipe Beach —> zu Fuß etwa 15min. Man kann in Euro bezahlen. Süße Katzen. Frühstück war ok, aber nicht herausragend. Sehr ruhige Lage. Am besten früh morgens oder spät abends/nachts anreisen, da die Zufahrt einspurig ist und tagsüber die Leute vom Strand entgegenkommen, da neben dem Hotel ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ist.

Ça fait auberge de jeunesse pas hôtel Petit déjeuner inclus et nous avons dû payer notre café le matin … c’est pas normal dommage. Petit déjeuner très pauvre pour bien commencer la journée. Nous avons eu un croissant par la proprio qui les distribue 1 par 1 … jamais vu ça à 65€ la nuit quand même.
• STEPHANE (5/5): Déception - La propreté C’est très cher pour ce que c’est ! (Le plus cher que nous ayons eu et pourtant nous avons eu des hôtels 4 étoiles avec piscine !) Cela ne vaut pas plus de 40 euros ! Le petit déjeuner est plus que basic. L’emplacement de l’hôtel se trouve sur le parking de la plage gjipe …qui se trouve à 20 minutes de marche parmi les détritus, pour ne pas changer du reste du pays !! Je ne recommande ni cet hôtel, ni ce pays !

• Trim (7/5): - The place is very clean and tidy. It's a great alternative to camping in Gjipe. The breakfast was a bit disappointing with the selection. The sound isolation wasn't the best, you could hear water pipes all over the place, which was somewhat uncomfortable.

• riccardo (7/5): Leggendo recensioni e descrizione, ci si trova davanti quello che ci si aspetterebbe - si trova a 25 minuti da Dhermi in uhn luogo isolato, il che è una cosa buona ma anche brutta perchè per qualsiasi cosa (anche mangiare) bisogna spostarsi in auto
• Marco (8/5): Posto bello immerso nella natura a 20 minuti a piedi da una della spiagge più belle dell’Albania (Gjipe) - Proprietario molto accogliente e gentile La strada per arrivare è a senso unico alternato, quando c’è molta affluenza è un problema.
• Kate (6/5): - This "hotel" is 20-mins (challenging for some in the heat) walk from a gorgeous beach. Copious breakfast. Comfortable bed. The room shutters stayed stuck in the down position, the shower room window wouldn't stay open (my sister's shower room window only had a mosquito net, no glass), no bedside lamps, characterless rooms. This was the most expensive place we stayed in in Albania (out of 6 places) and by far the least nice. The only redeeming features being the proximity of the beach and the breakfast. No smiles from the staff either. And our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2pm, even though check-in was from 1pm and we told them we'd arrive between 1 and 2pm.

Host does not speak good english. Location is not very central and super markets are far away (recommended if you want to visit Gjipe Beach)
