• Douglas (10/5): - Great location just a short drive to Norah Head Lighthouse and swimming at the beach nearby. Place had everything you needed plus a big common area with TV, sofa a d a fridge in case you had things to keep cool. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. Nothing was lacking.

• Magdalene (4/5): It was somewhat convenient and reasonably priced but disappointed by lack of cleanliness. - It was available at the last minute and in a quiet street. Bed was comfortable. The facilities were dirty. Shelving etc were dusty so I didn’t feel it was cleaned prior to my arrival which questioned the cleanliness of everything else. The shower & bathroom wasn’t clean - lots of grime. I didn’t return the following night.

• Alessandro (2/5): - Clean, comfortable bed This property is advertised as a Bed & Breakfast but it is just a very small shared house with hotel pricing. The listing states that “each room includes a dining area, kitchenware, and a refrigerator”, however my room had none of these, which was misleading. The walls are extremely thin, I could hear the person in the next room snoring all night, and there was a strong smell of weed in the corridor in the evening, which appeared to be coming from the neighbouring room. The house is very small, rooms are very close together, and there is virtually no privacy, creating a very awkward atmosphere. Breakfast was basically non-existent (only leftover snacks like cookies, bread, and marmalade from the day before). For around $110 per night, this was very poor value for money. I won’t be back.

A mirror in the bedroom on the wall would be useful to out make up on instead of using the bathroom as it was a shared accommodation. Would have loved to have made personal contact with the owner.

Nice system for managing separate people coming and going, wifi, breakfast (even some wine we didn't see until the next day), large screen TV, electric blankets, bathroom amenities. We would recommend and stay again if in the area.

Great value for money.. The bathroom is shared between the three bedrooms rented out. The shower needs a good clean. Could be an issue depending on the client's that book on a particular day. Living in close proximity to strangers, much like a dormitory or YMCA.
