• uri_pinner (9/5): דירה קסומה, בסגנון ישן וטוב. נוחה ונעימה. הנוף מהגג מדהים ממש, אפשר לעלות עם קפה או ארוחה קלה לגג. - הדירה במיקום נהדר, קרוב לכל דבר, צמוד לגבעת הנימפות ולאקרופוליס. שכונה מקסימה עם המון מסעדות ובתי קפה צעירים. כייף לעלות לגג עם קפה או ארוחה קלה, פשוט מושלם. הדבר היחיד שקצת הפריע זה הרעש של הרכבים בכביש מתחת לדירה. כאשר יושבים בסלון עם חלונות פתוחים שומעים רכבים ובעיקר אוטובוסים. אבל בחדרי שינה מאוד שקט.

Would’ve loved more towels 3. Would’ve loved more clothes pins instead we had 1 broken one 4. Another shower curtain would’ve been helpful, full size 5. Broken chair 6. • Kate (10/5): - This apartment is in an excellent location. We were able easily to walk everywhere in the city that we wanted to go. The Acropolis is so close by (there's a great view of it from the main bedroom!) and we loved being able to walk straight up Nymph's Hill to enjoy the fantastic views (and spot wild tortoises!). There are several smallish supermarkets in the vicinity, which we used because we cooked most of our own meals in the apartment. The kitchen was decently equipped for this, with hob, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and coffee pod machine (although no pods provided) and we appreciated the selection of food in the cupboard left by previous guests (oil, salt, pepper, etc). The 2 bedrooms worked well for us as a family of 4, and the spacious dining area was lovely. Complaints about the sitting room sofa are unfounded! It's perfectly comfortable for 3 people to sit on, and we thought it added to the stylish feel of the living area. It's a lovely light, airy room with multiple balconies. The roof terrace is shared with the other apartments in the building, but we rarely saw anyone else up there. It's a bit 'spartan' up there, but there are 2 seating areas so you're likely to be able to sit and enjoy a drink with the incredible Acropolis views all visitors to Athens want. The hosts were amazing at keeping in touch and checking that things were ok. We initially had trouble connecting to the WiFi but this was speedily sorted out with a WhatsApp message (NB just restart the router, that should work!). We also mentioned that the kitchen sink was missing a plug, and that one of the bedside lights wasn't working, and the following day a new light, 2 bulbs and a sink plug were delivered to us; excellent service! Previous reviews have mentioned the shower being difficult to use. My sons and I both managed to shower without getting a drop of water on the floor; however, my husband drenched the entire floor every time he used it. It's clearly user-error on some guests' part! Just stand with your back to the corner, and only point the shower towards you, it's not that tricky. Others have also mentioned the noise/traffic. This didn't bother us at all, we didn't find it intrusive. But you're in a very central apartment, it's never going to be completely silent. Bring earplugs if any night time noise worries you (we brought them, as we always do, but didn't feel the need to use them at all). The double glazing is good.

Kuchnia super wyposażona! Stara kanapa w salonie, myślę że czasu już na jej wymienienie i to że nie było papieru toaletowego xD Czasem słychać sąsiadów
• Christine (8/5): Schöne geräumige Unterkunft mit top Dachterrasse in einer schönen ruhigend zentralen Gegend nahe der Akropolis - Top Lage, nahe Akropolis und dem Museum in einer schönen ruhigen Wohnlage. In der Nöhe sind nette Cafés und Restaurants. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig hat 3 Balkone und hell und sehr nett eingerichtet. Die Gemeinschaftsdachterrasse hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht und ist mit Stühlen und einem Tisch ausgestattet. Man muss aber gut zu Fuß sein Fehlender Matrazenschoner. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn eine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank gewesen wäre weil wir sehr spät ankamen

• Megan (10/5): We miss it already! - Fantastic location, convenient to tourist sites, but still has a residential feel close to local restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. The apartment is spotless, well kept and very comfortable. We were surprised at how big it is, pictures don't do it justice. The bed was really comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It was great to have a bathtub and a brand new modern washing machine for laundry. There are thoughtful touches throughout, like coffee pods provided, water bottles in the fridge, board games in the dining room and guide books to borrow. Terrific communication from our host, and very detailed helpful instructions made everything go smoothly, and our host was extremely flexible with meeting us for check-in, since our arrival time changed at the last minute. Note: Philopappos Point in the park across the street is THE best place to watch the sunset. Much more space than the crowded Areopagus Hill that all of the wannabe influencers will be fighting each other for room on, and you can see the sunset over the harbor and mountains as well as the Acropolis. We would highly recommend! On a busy street, but we knew that before booking! The kitchen is tiny, which is pretty standard for city living.
• Sandy (8/5): Nice, Clean, spacious, bright apartment - Quiet neighborhood location, conveniently located, yet away from the busy, tourist-heavy areas like Plaka or Monastriaki The apartment was clean, bright, spacious and equipped with all essential amenities. It's just a 10 minute walk to the base of the Acropolis and a 12-minute walk to Acropolis metro station. Philopappos hill which offers panaromic views of the city is also a 10 minute walk and trail starts right across the building. There are large balconies in the living, dining areas and smaller ones in kitchen and bedrooms. The small balcony in the main bedroom has a nice view of Acropolis . As noted in other reviews, the views from the terrace overlooking the Acropolis are spectacular. The terrace also has chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the view. The hosts were courteous and very responsive. Overall a great apartment 1. Shower design: The tub with the stand-up shower has a glass door that only covers about one-third of the shower area. No matter how carefully we showered, water still ended up all over the floor. After each shower, we had to wipe the floors, wring out a wet floor towel, and leave it to dry. This was particularly frustrating to deal with after every shower. I have been regularly coming to Europe over the last 35 years and used to European style showers. But this was a bad design. I imagine most Americans and Canadians would feel the same. Everything else about the apartment was so great and this spoilt it for us. A simple fix for hosts would be adding a wrap around shower rod and curtain around the tub. 2. Mattress in Second bedroom: 2nd bedroom is pretty small, which is fine but the bed was quite hard—even for someone like me, who prefers firmer mattresses. A quilted mattress topper would be an easy solution. 3. Entertainment options: The only English content on cable was a single BBC channel. While they do have a few DVDs, all are in Greek. Basic streaming options like Netflix or even just YouTube would be nice to have.

• Trish (10/5): Wonderful apartment with breathtaking view ! - Apartment was wonderful - well equipped , spacious , airy with great air conditioning ( vital as Athens was going through a heatwave during our stay !) It’s an amazing location - you can walk up the road to the Acropolis and the view of the Parthenon at night from the terrace makes this a very special apartment. Breathtaking ! . The host was so good and responsive . He gave us recommendations for bars and restaurants in the area which were spot on . He went out of his way to help us . I would highly recommend this apartment .

• Sonya (9/5): Excellent comfortable apartment to explore Athens - Location was great - easy access to all main sights either via walking or public transport (bus #230 is great) and a lot of little mini-markets in the area and a full supermarket just down the road. Rooftop was AMAZING - we couldn’t get enough of the view of Acropolis (particularly at night) and greater Athens. It was also lovely to have several rooms to “live in” (dining room was great), kitchen was fully equipped (we cooked roast lamb), washing machine and drying rack were very handy and on hot days the air-conditioning was nice to have to cool down with after a big day touring. Shower was a bit tight for a 6 foot man to manoeuvre in. But for smaller people it is workable.
• Olivia (10/5): Loved the hosts, the area and the comfortable apartment and beds! - The property was clean and very spacious, but also cosy. There was a space for everyone. The breeze was lovely and the view of the Parthenon from the main bedroom window and rooftop were spectacular! It was such a nice, cool home, especially when hot outside, you could pull the blinds but still get the lovely breeze coming through. Best of all it was in the middle of all the great places to see in Athens! Quiet at night but lots of bustle and activity in the area during the day, including great cafes. We got in very late, and our hosts kindly met us, even though it was after midnight, to explain everything we needed to know and provide a key. They were so wonderful with the help and information they provided 😊😊 Nothing.
• Tamar (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts thought of so many nice touches to ensure that our kids settled in quickly - baby cot was already set up, kids books, nightlight etc. Location is fantastic and loved the view from the rooftop.
• Kathryn (10/5): Lovely stay - We had a wonderful stay. The host waited for our 230am arrival (planned in advance) and continuously communicated with us. The apartment was large and comfortable, with a king size bed (yay!) In one bedroom and two single beds (one trundle) in the second room. There were extra blankets and a sleeping pad for a child in the closet. Each room had individual heating and hot water was available after setting a timer. One bedroom has an Acropolis "glimpse" and there is a shared rooftop terrace with a lovely view. There were room darkening screens in both bedrooms which helped us sleep in. I was happy to see that there was a nespresso machine for coffee (also an electric kettle, toaster, microwave, and stove). Several balconies as well. The hosts dinner recommendations were spot on. Thank you! Everything was great.

A few upgrades would go a long way. - The hosts were responsive; the apartment is close to the Acropolis and other historic sites; the rooftop terrace is spartan but a great place to enjoy a breakfast view. The apartment is loud since the balcony is just a few meters from the endless stream of tour buses. The sheets, pillows, and lights are extremely low quality. The bath tub is small and awkward, shower head needs replacing; no clothes rack.
• Wendy (10/5): A real gem in the heart of Athens historical district. Close to Acropolis, restaurants, and shopping - Superior location right at the foot of the Acropolis. This we’ll-appointed apartment has everything: two bedrooms (one with king size bed),fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, cable TV, dining room, bathroom with tub/shower, and clothes washer. Immaculate! The owners are VERY accessible and answer all inquiries quickly. There was nothing we didn’t like.
