Guest Reviews
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional with generous hosts. - This was the best accomodation we have stayed in. The location itself is beautiful with a wonderful garden to walk in. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. A lemon pudding greeted us with ample breakfast foods and a bottle of wine. The studio itself feels like a warm hug. Everything was geared to our comfort. Thank you Patrica and Richard.

We were warmly greeted by owners and shown around the beautiful property. The art and decor was honesty so amazing. A blend of new and old traditional and quirky. And so quiet and relaxing. Will definitely be back soon Loved everything
- Hugh (10/5): Thank you to Richard and Patricia for making our stay so comfortable. We highly recommend this property. - Beautiful location with stunning views across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island, uniqueness of the studio with its amazing art collection, extremely comfortable bed, very generous welcome goodies including homemade cake, jam, marmalade to name but a few. Everything was perfect.

- Heather (10/5): - I'm not sure where to start..... this is by a golden mile the best accommodation we have had in Tasmania!! The hosts are super friendly and interesting to talk to. The views are to die for.... constantly changing colours and to add to that, the studio itself has everything you could wish for, including the provision of a bottle of bubbly and a range of food for breakfasts. The perfect place to go to especially if you're visiting Bruny Island. There was nothing that we didn't like.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The apartment is cosy, with a beautifully apointed and heated bathroom and decorated with many treasures from the travels of the hosts. Combined with the beautiful gardens, the view of Bruny Island and the bay, waking to the sounds of cows and birds, this is a beautiful place to stay and relax. Breakfast provisions and other snacks provided in addition to a banana and cinnamon cake (with cream in the fridge) made by Patricia. Woodbridge feels like a village and is close to several other small towns
- Chris W (10/5): Great base for exploring the Channel - View of Channel.
Eclectic atmosphere.
Breakfast condiments. All OK
- Curtis (10/5): Absolute pleasure to experience this property and the fascinating lives of our accomplished hosts. - Beautiful views, full sunshine, quite, solitude. The food options provided went well beyond just breakfast. Special dietary requests were happily attended to. Greeted with a straight out of the oven lemon pudding with cream.
Patricia and Dick were passionate about their magnificent garden which they had created from scratch and passionate hosts that clearly loved engaging with people . If you just wanted complete solitude, privacy that was also fully respected and understood. The property and accommodation decor reflected the fascinating lives and extraordinary achievements of the delightful host couple. Nothing we did not like. Any requests were immediately attended to.

Where else can you fall asleep listening to birds, see wild wallabies on the lawn and have everything you could ever need including a home made lemon pie! Nothing at all!

- Julie (10/5): Beautiful friendly home in a stunning location - The accommodation and location were a lovely surprise. The studio was very comfortable, well out-fitted and full of fascinating quirky items. I had beautiful views across to Bruny Island from my private deck. Patricia and Richard were very welcoming and hospitable. I felt like I was visiting with friends, not staying in a bnb. I'd definitely recommend Woodbridge and The Hill House Panaroma. Nothing needs to change

The view from the bathroom is great, after showering if you look out at the wonderful view, you tend to forget what you're supposed to be doing. lol
The lemon pudding awaiting us on arrival was a great surprise and thoroughly enjoyed by us. The breakfast foods and treats in the fridge were a wonderful gesture by the hosts. Patricia and Richard are such great hosts, we enjoyed the couple of conversations we had immensely. And the garden, well, that was amazing, beautifully manicured, once again great views. Just wish we had had a longer stay. We will have to come back next year for longer.
Thank you so much Patricia and Richard.
From Kay and Jill I dont believe there was anything we didnt like.
- Margaret (10/5): We really loved staying there. It was a home away from home ! - The experience was absolutely beautiful!
We were made to feel welcome ! Nothing !
- Lynne (10/5): Fascinating accommodation and a joy to sit on the balcony and soak up the views - The owners, living nearby, were very welcoming and had provided a well-stocked fridge with delicious local produce.
The accommodation is larger than it appeared on the websites, though no space for extra beds, with an eclectic collection of art works and furniture. Furniture very comfortable. Luxurious, large bathroom with heated towel rail.
The views from the balcony are breathtaking and the gardens surrounding the house are glorious.
Good walking down to Woodbridge and the waterfront or just around the grounds.
A beautiful spot, excellent hosts and interesting accommodation. Kitchen bench space cramped - but manageable if not wanting to cook large meals.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - The most comfortable bed imaginable, fabulous views and surroundings. Plush bathrobes, very generous "goodies" in addition to copious breakfast supplies. Would have been good to have had an outdoor setting with a table, to take advantage of the lovely countryside, when the weather was kind.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (10/5): Perfect location, great accommodation and welcoming hosts - Perfect location only 10min drive from Bruny Island ferry. Richard and Patricia were perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome, providing a great breakfast spread in the mornings and just right conversation (with drinks) in the evening.
The view over the water to Bruny Island was great as was the walk around the gardens
