• Lucie (7/5): Vue exceptionnelle, mais rapport qualité/ prix décevant! - L’emplacement (la vue) est extraordinaire! Tout l’hôtel sent le renfermer, le vieux. On a bien essayer de ventiler l’appartement, mais l’odeur est imprégnée dans les tapis et le meubles. De plus ça craque de partout; on entend marcher, parler les voisins….les murs et planchers ne sont vraiment pas insonorisés.
• Preston (9/5): Beautiful location, spacious, comfortable apartment with everything you need - Set in a beautiful part of Wengen, with a stunning view of the mountains. You can sit outside on the balcony and watch the skiiers go by. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with everything needed in the kitchen to prepare your own meals. We enjoyed everything about the stay. Be aware that it is quite a strenuous uphill walk from the station if you have heavy luggage. We didn't realize how difficult it would be to push our suitcases up the hill in snowy conditions, along with our two young children, so that was the only drawback.

• Laura (8/5): Our stay at Residence Brunner was wonderful—breathtaking balcony views, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfy, spacious l - The view from the balconies were INCREDIBLE. I also thought the scenic walk to the train and to town was enjoyable, but a little long with luggage. There are taxis in town that will drive you for €25… half our group Walked, half taxied. The living space worked great for my group (2 bedrooms, bathrooms, separate kitchen and living area). Beds were comfortable. Loved the 3rd floor view, I’m glad there was a lift for our luggage. Kitchen amenities were EXCELLENT. Overall, I would return! The showers were adequate but not great.

• Louis (9/5): Very nice B and B - It’s really a B and B, not a hotel as no services available but help available. Rooms very nice and clean and wonderful views. Kitchenettes very nice. We would stay again All was OK but good climb uphill so if disabled or in poor shape would need assistance or transport
• Saadia (7/5): Good - Amazing view from balconies Modern and functioning kitchen with all amenities It is large and separate sitting room is a nice feature. The apartment is old. It seems like a few rooms are joined together to make this apartment. Some of the walls are exposed. Bathroom doors do not have lock from inside, and one of them does not close at all. Beds are soft, and it is a funny rule to ask to remove bedsheets before leaving the hotel. It is uphill with a very steep hike. Although it is only 12 min walk, it is difficult with luggage and taxi costs 25 CHF.

Fantastic view from great balconies! Could walk out and hike unbelievable trails with amazing views. Staff was terrific, helpful and had great advice. Loved Wengen! Beds very comfy and lots of room in apartment. Truly lived up to name! Would definitely love to come back again! Best place ever! A little hard to walk to with luggage but absolutely worth it!
• Norman (7/5): We were happy in this apartment but anyone expecting modern accommodation would be disappointed - Great views, kitchen quite well equipped and plenty of space for four people. Some updating needed, also better maintenance, e.g. dead lightbulbs replaced and doors should shut properly

• Philipp (3/5): Perfect if you like sleeping with mice! - Great location, spacious, fully stacked kitchen. Mice infestation in the building!! You can hear the mice walking between the walls next to your head in the sleeping room trying to get in and can see them (their paws) run across the ceiling which is just a plastic sheet. Owner completely discredited our complaints - apparently every house in Wengen has mice and no one has complained in 20 years, which we found hard to believe. Eventually got a bit of the money back but if rodents are a concern to you I cannot recommend this place. Mattresses were terrible because they were completely worn down. Woke up with back pain every day. Feels like the property is for sale and some money needs to be made before it happens.

• Sandy (10/5): Wengen is a quaint Swiss town surrounded by huge mountains. It was a great place for adventures in the Jungfrau region. - The views from the balconies were amazing! We could see the sun come over the mountains each morning creating the most beautiful colors. The place was large and worked well for the 3 of us. The owner was friendly and accommodating in every way. And best of all was his dog, Luna! To get the amazing views,unfortunately you had to walk the hills! This was a little out of the central part of town so we had to walk uphill to get there. It wasn’t that long but we had extremely hot temps which made it seem longer.
• Yao (9/5): Best view to the mountain, feels nice waking up to it - The view here is awesome, we could see the mountains directly from our room. The room we booked has 2-3 balcony access, with windows at every single room, and that gives us ability to view the mountains from almost every direction! The view from our room at this place is top dodge and definitely the best I've ever experience in my life. The kitchen is super clean and provided almost everything we needed including some spices. The place is also very comfy, not a modern mid century design but very warm. On arrival, the most painful thing is the location of this place. We had to drag 5 luggages up the hill with a 12mins walk and that almost killed us. Don't underestimate the hill upwards when you have a lot of luggages and suggest getting a taxi as suggested, you can still easily walk if you're carrying a lot of stuffs tho. They have 2 bathrooms in our unit but both doors can't be privacy locked, and one of it the door can't even shut properly and we had to use something to block it to prevent it from opening. Not an issue for family or couple as we are not going to dumbly walk into someone using a bathroom but definitely an issue if it's with friends.

• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the Alps was truly spectacular! Every balcony had comfortable sitting areas, as well as giant windows to view the mountains from inside. Wengen is a cute little village situated perfectly for day trips throughout the area. It was wonderful and we hope to return again! We didn't like that we had to leave at end of our trip. However, we hope to return again in the future. It was the best!!!
• Andrew (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was very nice and responsive to messages. I asked for extra coffee pods and they brought them quickly. The Wi-Fi went down and Mr. Brunner got it fixed as soon as possible. The view is beautiful. Our unit was a two bedroom, two bath, with kitchen and living room. I thought it was quite spacious. The facilities could use a renovation instead of patchwork repairs and replacement. The distance from train to hotel is less of an issue than the altitude difference Getting to the hotel from the train station is a hike up hill... with luggage, but taxis are available.
