Guest Reviews
- Juan Jose (7/5): - The location is unbeatable! Just next to the Duomo. The owner also gave us great tips to enjoy our stay. The name establishes it... it is small. I couldn't even stand without hitting the roof, wouldn't recommend for a tall person.
Additionally, the shower isn't enclosed, so you have to deal with a wet floor in the whole bathroom when you shower... not great

Entrada do quarto escura e feia.

- Mercedees (9/5): Definitely recommend - Perfect location, within walking distance to everything. Property felt very safe and secure. The staff were lovely, and very welcoming and friendly. The place was clean and was equipped with all the essential supplies.
- Denisa (9/5): Superb - The accommodation was in an excellent location, 2mins walk from the Duomo, 10mins walk from the train station. It was small but cosy and Gregorio was very nice and helpful.
- Nathan (10/5): Perfect! - The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for staying one night. The location is amazing, central to everything but still quiet at night. Had everything we needed. Ceilings are a little low if you’re above 6’ tall. The shower does get the bathroom pretty wet so just make sure it’s the last thing you do in the bathroom - It dried pretty quickly though.
- William (8/5): Relaxing amid a city packed with people and places to see - Easy walk to duomo,Uffizi and Boboli Gardens yet quiet and peaceful in the middle of the day Only drawback was tiny fridge and low ceilings might be uncomfortable for anyone above 6’ other wise close to a 10 for price and closeness to sights
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - I liked everything . The host was excellent. Gave me everything I needed supplied some info about the local area etc . Even supplied photos to help 😁 the location was excellent . 1 minute from the famous Douma and well placed for anything you need . Literally couldn't have asked for more from either the host or the property Nothing I loved it all
- Marsi (7/5): Good - The location was perfect and the host gave us some great recommendations about places to visit and eat. The ceiling is very low. Careful not to bump your head if you're over 1,80m.
- Kerri (6/5): Good location - The location was great. Very small and only lamps in the room. No fridge to put water bottles in. The window in the bathroom was missing and there were mosquitoes in the room. My husband found the window and repaired it. Difficult to get access to the room as code was only sent at last minute and didn’t receive it. Spent about 2 hours trying to get in touch with owner and get the code. I was quite upset by this only to have owner point out that they had sent it but I hadn’t received it.
- Angeline (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, helpful & welcoming host ! Best
- Denise (8/5): Excellent location, but uncomfortable if you are taller than 180 cm - Location was excellent.
Able to drop our luggage off early. The fridge is tiny and couldn’t put a small bottle of water in.
Recommend a larger fridge.
The shower is at the entrance to the bathroom. My partner had to hold the shower nozzle when I washed my hair so water didn’t go all over the bathroom and into our bedroom
The ceiling height is low and if you were taller than 180 cm you would hit your head.
- Lorenzo (9/5): Superb -
- Cristina (6/5): Pleasant - My stay in Florence was good overall, but the bathroom had some issues. It seemed to flood every time I showered, which was inconvenient.
- Louise (5/5): This property is what it is and was advertised as such, (not made out to be something that it wasnt) - The location was amazing 2 minutes to the Duomo. Gregorio the host was very helpful and friendly. The Bathroom was very small and the water went everywhere when showering, but that being said you can work with it. The water came up through the floor and Gregoriou addressed this immediately with a plumber.
- Myles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elif (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (9/5): Unbeatable location, charming, much better than some reviews have said! - Gregorio is a great, friendly host with a lot of local knowledge on Florence. It was my second time visiting florence.
He was able to assist me in finding a location I had forgotten along with many good restaurants and viewpoints.
The room is charming although a little noisy with people above, the location is too good to pass up on we would come back again! Our only complaints if we were being picky was hearing whoever was above us walking around at night and that the roof was bit low.
I'm 6ft3 and had to duck a little bit but we didn't have an issue with it and weren't bothered. As for the noise we were able to sleep fine and uninterrupted.
you can't hear the street or noise which is surprising since you are one street from the main cathedral so overall we think it's a great place to stav.
- Lauren (10/5): Awesome Apartment - The location was incredible! Steps away from the duomo and easy access to many of the main attractions in Florence. The host was fantastic and responded to our messages quickly, we had no problems with check in and everything went smoothly. The apartment is small but was exactly as it appeared on the site and was great for two people! The water heater is above the toilet (just watch your head and you will be okay), sometimes the water pressure/heat in the taps varied
- Kerstin (5/5): Thank you anyway for a very generous room. - I liked the location och practicality of the room, also I appreciated everything that i rated above, and it was a lot for the money, even though it was a very low sealing in a spacious room. What made it difficult, though everything could have been very good, was the noice from the appartament above, and the very inefficiantly soundproof sealing. Someone was walking with high heal shoes back and forth, back and forth (once 5 a'clock in the morning), children where playing, sometimes a lot of people, and it was basically any time of the day. Usually I am not so "sensitive", I put my earplugs in, but this was really so loud that it was impossible to shut out, and very hard to sleep both late and early or taking siesta in the day.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect and the apartment was really cozy. I would recommend it for a couple of nights and especially for young people who do not mind the ceiling and the bathroom. Gregorio (the host) gave us the best advice concerning where to eat and drink and answered all our questions.
- Vittoria (3/5): Not for tall people and neither for people who sleep lightly - The location was great. The check in and check out processes were easy and quick. The room is very short, I'm 160 cm tall and there were literally 10 cm to the ceiling from my head. It was quite noisy during the evenings and sometimes until 1 or 2 am. We could hear the conversations of the neighbours and their walking. The water in the shower wasn't draining properly. The shower curtain was poorly hung and too long. For these reasons the bathroom smelled bad. We had a problem with the electricity and the owner didn't try to resolve it for two days, so we had to use the lights from our phones in the bathroom until the check out two days after. Both the microwave and the mini fridge didn't have outlets close so we couldn't use them without moving them across the room. The blanket was old, with evident rips and the pillows were definitely not the ones in the pictures.
- Ceri (10/5): Exceptional - Really pleased with this apartment. It’s very cosy and the location is fantastic. It’s right next to the Duomo, so it’s very central and you are very close to everything. I found being near the train station particularly helpful for my arrival and departure. The host was extremely kind and welcoming and willing to help with everything, even going above and beyond. He also responds in very good time to any queries.
