• Siobhan (7/5): Great location spoilt by the need for a good clean. - Good location it was also quiet, beds were comfy. Welcome pack with coffee and other bits. Use of a lift. The apartment needs a good thorough clean. The wardrobe in the lower bedroom was also a cleaning cupboard and smelt damp so I didn't hang my clothes in it.

• jean-louis (9/5): Une très bonne adresse à Madrid - Un appartement très bien situé, très calme, confortable et très bien équipé pour 2 couples. 2 chambres avec une salle de bain. Un propriétaire très à l’écoute. Parfait C’était parfait.
• Bettina (9/5): Sehr nette Wohnung in toller Lage! - Hübsche Wohnung, für 4 Personen gut passend, super Lage! Gut ausgestattet. Es war ein bisschen kalt, aber nach einigen Anfangs-Schwierigkeiten haben wir die Heizung einschalten können.

• SandraMs (10/5): Graziosa location con tutto il necessario - Casa molto bella pulita ben arredata ha tutto il necessario ed è una struttura ben tenuta Se proprio devo trovare un difetto forse non aver trovato una bottiglia di acqua Ma per il resto era provvista di ogni cosa

• Alfia (10/5): La migliore sistemazione per un giro a Madrid - Posizione eccellente, a 10 minuti a piedi da tutte le principali attrazioni. Appartamento spazioso, adatto a gruppi e famiglie. Due camere da letto, due bagni e un salotto. C'è anche una cucina ben fornita. L'appartamento si trova in una zona centrale, fornita di bar, locali, ristoranti e taberne. Non manca nulla!!!

• Cristiano (7/5): - É um bom apartamento, bem localizado e o proprietário é muito disponível. A única coisa que não gostei foi da limpeza, o apartamento estava muito sujo, cheio de cabelos por toda a parte, o vidro do duche estava quebrado e ficamos com medo de nos machucar.
• Sunil (6/5): Great location but with a thorough clean and maintenance update it is a good apartment to stay at. - Location was excellent Toilet seat not secure. Shower doors not secure Very dusty in general Apartment not ready until 2 hours after check in time.

• Tania (8/5): Bueno y céntrico - Alojamiento cómodo para 4 personas en un barrio tranquilo a 15min andando de la Plaza Mayor. Los baños estaban muy bien equipados y modernos y la cocina tenía todos los utensilios necesarios para la estancia Había un olor muy fuerte en la entrada del edificio y en el patio interior. La recogida de llaves es un poco molesta, sobre todo si andas con mucho equipaje, porque debes buscarla en un locker a unos minutos andando del alojamiento.
• Wolfram (7/5): Very central appartment with helpful air conditioning for the hottest week of the summer. - The appartment is really central. You can reach many interesting places of Madrid by walking. The Airconditioning was a big plus as we were there in the hottest week of the summer. The bed rooms were quite small, and there were no real cupboards to put things in.

• Abdul (7/5): exceptional & stunning apartment - The Apartment was exceptional and according to the pictures shown in booking.com, Location was fine facilities were too good and very nice and clean apartment can accommodate 4 persons easily, overall we loved and enjoyed our stay, one thing which is obviously owner of the apartment should look into it the cafe they left the key is very very busy and obviously there priority as café is their own business first then giving away the key WE were early there and requested early check in but was refused which we understand but at the end went back 15.00 bang on time the staff of cafe knew i was wondering around spending my time outside here and there to get keys and even at 15.00 she made sure she deal her cafe customers first to give me keys that was bit embarrassing for me in front of my wife and niece who were with me I hope you look into this, Thanks
• Eberhard (6/5): Still I think, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages - The flat itself: We liked the location, close by and yet a little out of the way. Very cosy neighbourhood with charming restaurants (Taberna Eduardo!). It serves the purpose of a city trip 100%, but don't expect space. Sufficient for a few days. Well equipped, including WiFi (which for some 20 hours did not work, but it came back: miracle) In the meantime I know the highly bureaucratic requirements of the Spanish government for tourists. But in our case, the hassle was magnified by the landlord who only asked us a week before moving into the flat - months after booking and paying - to enter extensive amounts of data into an online tool for each of the 4 travellers. 1) At this point in time all 4 travellers were in different locations with different communication options. 2) The online tool did not work: Neither in browser 1, nor in browser 2, nor in browser 3. Even deleting all cookies - nothing worked. Why can't this be done earlier? Honestly, this caused a lot of stress during an intercontinental trip with inadequate and/or very expensive roaming facilities. Avoidable! At least a small comfort: After submitting the pdf RP-copies, the landlord finally entered the data himself. In one of the 2 bathrooms the design Chinese (?) fittings were defective, so the shower was unusable. No repair during our stay. Maybe better substitute it with a less chic but more sturdy European product. The keys are handed over approx. 2 km away.
• Ignacio (7/5): Good, but could be much better. - Good location and clean. They asked for a 300 deposit and the key collection was difficult and took time because of a mistake made by the administrator.
• Thomas (2/5): Very poor - the location was fine. the staff was very unfriendly. the apartment was not inviting, was not prepared for a relaxed stay. not one bottle of water, no info were the next super is, no manuel of the air condition.
• Leal (7/5): all went well except for the air conditioning issue, and picking up of keys. - great location, very quiet area. air conditioning was not working, thankfully it was cool enough at night that we did not need it. sent pictures as requested from the host to see if the settings were locked on the thermostat, never got an answer back. picking up keys was a little frustrating being tired after arrival. Suggestion, to have someone meet your guests to hand off keys.

But check in/out not ideal - Loved the space, cleanliness, numerous power point sockets, the facilities were ample, great space and location, the lack of water coming through the shower this morning The access was not very safe in relation to the very unsteady and uneven stairs, thankfully the lift was very useful, we found the flat buzzer did not seem to work properly!! Fact that we had to check in via a cafe somewhere away from the flat location and fact that checkout was a similar process!!

• Jackeline (9/5): Superb!! Stress Free Accomodation. I highly recommend this place. - They sent me an emails before checking and check out. The apt is very clean, convenient location close to transit, grocery store, restaurants. The owner provided all we needed including enough toilet paper. The bed and sofa bed very comfortable and place nicely decorated. It made our stay enjoyable, stress free which is what it needed during a vacation. The only reason I don’t give a rating of 10 it for the inconvenience to pick up keys at a different location. It wasn’t far just inconvenient after a long trip travelling with a child and elder. I would suggest you include this limitation in the description to give heads-up to guest or perhaps have someone deliver the keys
• Joe (6/5): Could be really nice, just needs a little refresh and a bigger shower downstairs (and hot water) - Location was good - very local (was pleased it was not in a tourist trap). Bright modern decor - although this needs tidying up (scuffs and holes in the walls need filling in). Plenty of clean towels available. Large fridge freezer. Quite clean in places. Tepid showers, that randomly sent either scalding or very cold water out - in both bathrooms. The downstairs shower was tiny (and leaked) with no room to move - no room for any shelving to put shower gel / shampoo on. Bannister rail loose and stairs slippery. No headboard on ground floor bedroom. Agent was very late with the keys - no apology given for making us wait outside - we called to say what time we would be arriving, as per the instructions, - called an hour later to see where she was and had to wait another hour before she appeared. Would have been less annoying if she had kept us informed rather than us chasing her. Could have been cleaner in the living area and the cups plates and glasses needed washing before we could use them.
