• Manuel De (6/5): - Limpio. Camas comodas. Baño agradable y dos lavadoras. El baño esta limpio. El alojamiento esta a la altura de la calle. No tiene calefacion, solo el aire acondicionado. Ademas hay camaras de vigilancia en el salon, lo cual es incomodo. La habitacion no tiene entrada de luz natural.

As a solo, female traveller, I was concerned to read an off-putting article about the area on my train journey to Madrid. However, while it’s certainly in a poorer area of the city, the flat is a few minutes away from the metro, it’s quick to get into the centre and I felt alright coming back alone in the evening. (I asked a female member of staff at the metro station if it was ok to walk in the area at night and she said she thought it was - although she advised not walking alone late at night around the next two stops up the line. I did accidentally get off one stop early on my way back one night and was approached by a drunk man asking for money, so her local knowledge seemed spot on.)

• Van Gorsel (10/5): - Locatie dicht bij de metro. Wij zijn goed ontvangen en Het contact ging soepel. Appartement was begaande grond , schoon en netjes . Zeker aan te raden als je een stedentrip naar Madrid wilt maken .

• Karen (9/5): Loved the apartment - The apartment is fabulous, really lovely and clean. It's perfect for two people. There is pots, pans, utensils etc which was really helpful. The host was very accommodating and responsive when discussing check in and getting the keys. Would highly recommend. Only thing I'd add is maybe an extra tea towel, toilet roll, kitchen roll would be helpful. The location is right beside metro which is very handy to get into the city centre. Not much around for dinner so best to get metro, few different grocery shops 2 mins walk away. There is nothing to not like. It is on a street so there can be a little bit of noise at night but that's expected in the city.
