Guest Reviews
- Franco D'Agostino (8/5): - Top location Can get a bit cold (in winter), however we expected that, given the type of accommodation ( i.e. rooftop, most probably it was an old laundry room without full heating, which were common in Rome.)
The wardrobe smells a bit of mold.
- Anzhelika (10/5): Perfect central stay - Privacy, amazing views, smooth check in/out and easy communication with host, excellent location. The apartment is clean and spacious. Everything went perfect, we loved the place and enjoyed our stay Nothing
- חכימי (7/5): - הגג היה אש והכל באמת טוב , אבל לא היה הרבה מים חמים במקלחת
- Justin (10/5): Wonderful! - It was very clean, quiet, and in a good location. I loved the outdoor terrace! Options for drying clothes after washing were limited
- Tanja (7/5): -
- Dmitrii (8/5): Very good - Location is great. Flat is perfectly equipped. Terrace had a lot of bird droppings
- Alexander (7/5): Good - Perfect location Extremely small shower cabin.
- Andrea (9/5): Wonderful property and host! - Terrace is tremendous - very comfortable property. Great location -close to many sights. Great responsive host! Trash location for check out was not clear. Heater did not warm main living room very well,
- A (1/5): This house is a show on the photos only and total disappointment. - I am so sorry for this poor feedback and that I have to say the truth for the sake of other people who will book this flat: We rent similar flats 4-5 times a year in different places and this was the worst conditioned house we have ever stayed. The house was really dirty. There was dust on the floors all over the house. Especially the bedroom had almost never been cleaned. The sheets were so old that when you sit on them, your clothes turn into white cotton. I wish you would renew the towels and sheets from time to time. Even the seats in the house were so dirty that we couldn't sit and spend time in the living room, so booking a flat instead of a hotel room didnt work at all. The bathroom shower was constantly clogged and did not go away within an hour. There was only one plate and one wine glass at home, it was really weird.. This house is a show on the photos only and total disappointment.
- Rich (8/5): Great rooftop apartment - Great rooftop property with stunning views and reasonably quiet. It has a working elevator. The apartment itself is roomy. The bathroom is too small and the shower difficult to maneuver in. The couch in the living room is dirty and uncomfortable.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Close to a lot of sights of Rome. Very good location and walkable to everything.
- Samantha (4/5): Inadequate facilities, not as described, poor customer service - The location is good, for the Vatican for example, although worth considering that it’s not near the Metro ( at least 20-30 minute walk depending on which line you want). Alex who checked us in was helpful. Bear in mind this flat is managed by a company called Iflat, and frankly they pay lip service to customer service. Having been given a dedicated customer service number upon arrival I alerted them to various problems, like no wine glasses ( just plastic picnic glasses), missing decaff coffee capsules ( which I’d asked for ahead of our stay due to a health condition), dirty water glasses, no tea mugs, no pegs ( which meant our washing ended up all over the terrace), shower caked in limescale and a tray that doesn’t drain. We even ran out of toilet paper on day two! Individually these are straightforward things to put right, but this is an expensive apartment where we would expect prompt attention, and in fact we were promised it but it didn’t happen. Then they said sorry we are short staffed and they couldn’t provide service…..And yes some items did finally appear around half way through our stay, but being a special occasion and only 5 nights/ 4 days the lack of service to put things right quickly, coupled with disappointment in what is a basic apartment, significantly marred our experience. During our final day they offered to come in and try and fix the shower tray but it was pointless for us by then so I declined (Iflat staff then tried to make out I was refusing help!). The apartment is very basic, grotty (old)tiny bathroom with inferior quality towels and products, electrical socket hanging out of the wall in the lounge, broken cover for Aircon in bedroom, the whole place needs refurbishing. Yes the terrace has good views and is frankly the only selling feature, but it is not private, there were two workmen on ‘our’ terrace for our first 2 days noisily fixing a problem on an adjacent and confluent apartment terrace. This also gave a security concern as well as not being able to enjoy and relax the key / only positive of this flat! And lots of planters on the terrace, but full of dead plants as well as being a storage area.
- Georgia (9/5): Central Roman apartment - Well located property which we found within easy walking distance to many sights, nice bars and restaurants. The check-in process was easy and the air conditioning worked very well in the strong heat in the middle of August. This did make it a little unbearable to use the terrace as there is no real shade or fully covered area, however we did appreciate the beautiful view.
- Janet (10/5): Wonderful will recommend it and will rebook for my next trip to Roma - Fantastic location, views and facilities. Nothing.
- Natalie (10/5): Fantastic apartment, incredible terrace in perfect location for exploring Roma - This apartment is stunning! The terrace is large, and sweeps round so that you get views across the city from different angles. The space is large, airy, and everything was clean. Comfy bed too. Great location for exploring the city. Helpful staff, on-hand to help with any queries or advice. I will definitely be staying again :)
- Jürgen (9/5): Superb - Great location and awesome view from the huge and private rooftop terrace. Highly recommend. The apartment has everything which is needed and we were waited personally to receive the keys. Apart from the delayed cleaning service it was almost perfect! Unfortunately, when we arrived at around 4pm the cleaning service didn’t arrive yet, so we left our luggage there and had to leave till the apartment was cleaned which was finalized only at 7pm.
Additionally, in one night there was a loud alarm at 4am for 20 minutes in the night, which was apparently an electronic shutdown. Looking at the other reviews, I guess that happens in this building from time to time.
- Brendan (8/5): Very good - Excellent location with everything walking distance Small issue with fuses blowing and had to go into a basement to reset.
- Abas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): Fantastic location and unbelievable terrace - Fantastic location and unbelievable terrace! We enjoyed our stay immensely! There was only one plug-in in the kitchen countertop area, right above the stove. Another plug-in at the end of the kitchen counter (not in the middle) and/or a small table near the dining room table would be great for the coffee machine and toaster. We had to put them on the floor, if we wanted to use them at the same time. If I was cooking, I couldn't use the plug-in above the stove at all, because the electrical cable would be over the hot stove burners.
- Emilie (10/5): Great value for money and amazing terrace. - Amazing roof top terrace with spectacular view, and you have it all to yourself. The apartment is nice and has everything you need. Nothing.
- Watson (8/5): Very good - Spacious and well equipped. Fantastic roof terrace with great views. Excellent location for all of central Rome. Shower was tiny, shame in such a spacious apartment.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great especially the location and the terrace. nothing
- Leanne (9/5): Views for Days, safe & clean, central location - Easy going host, beautifully clean and well appointed apartment with all mod cons necessary, comfortable bed & air con worked well. The big selling point is the immense terrace with the most spectacular 360deg views of the city. Truly enjoyed our stay in this central location within easy walking distance to many sites. Only minor point is pillows in the bedroom were a bit old and hard otherwise loved everything.
