- Peter (5/5): A room with a door that locks - The guy at check was helpful, though he seemed a bit skeptical that a foreign couple wanted to stay here! In the morning, he gave me some ice for my sprained toe. It was easy to find on the main road and had a big sign (some reviews made it seem difficult to locate, but it was obvious). It had a/c and a private bathroom. The mattress was decently comfy. The room felt safe, and the door locked. The price was reasonable and there were lots of locals staying there. I'm not sure who wrote the other reviews, but this is not a 9 star hotel, so don't expect much comfort or luxury. It is a budget motel, even by local standards. They're more geared to local travelers or extreme budget foreigners. There was a mattress with a top sheet, a table, and a TV. There were some bugs in the bathroom, there isn't hot water, and it is not quiet. The walls transmit a lot of sound, and every person who walked by sounded like they're in your room. Plus there were so many loud motorcycles driving down the main road. We were furthest from the street, and still my earplugs couldn't block out the sound. You'll need some Spanish to stay here, as the staff didn't seem to have much English. We only spent one night here as we were passing through town, so we have no idea how it compares to other places in the area, but we wouldn't stay here again.
- Samuel (7/5): Good - Cheap and a good room. The owner offered to bring me to CurĂº by car. Hard to find, since there is no address. It's in perro negro. A bit abandoned atmosphere.
