• Michelle (7/5): Clean & great location - Close to what we needed and big enough for our large family. The wifi wouldn’t work. We didn’t know we had to bring pool towels as there was nothing mentioned about it in the property detail so had to use our bath towel instead.

• Paramjit (1/5): Not great and won’t recommend - None Beds were uncomfortable, mouldy blinds, few blinds don’t work, sofa not enough for 7 people. Dining table not sufficient for 7 people. Beddings are not clean.
• Tracey (5/5): It’s great for a one night stay especially if seeing a concert..the unit needs some upgrades - Location is excellent Unfortunately the single bed was broken..cleaners would have known about this as the slats were broken and didn’t fit the bed.. One of the bedroom blinds was also broken which they would have known about.. There was not enough utensils for the amount of beds ..eg 2 wine glasses for 7 adults
• Ashley (7/5): Centrally located and spacious apartment - Great location and very spacious apartment! 200m walk to IGA and cafes. We easily walked to Qudos Bank Arena for a concert. Felt a bit tired and could use a deep clean/new couch.

Clean, practical - everything you’d want. Very hot upon checking in. However cooled quickly once air con was on.

• Peter (6/5): A good price, but I guess you get what you pay for! - A great location to see an event at Homebush. Close to the IGA and restaurants. 2 car parking spaces was ideal for a 4 bedroom apartment. The living area was small and could not seat all guests - some had to sit at the table and some on the lounge. The windows did not seal properly and the apartment was freezing - the heating was not working. The beds were uncomfortable and we were glad we were only staying for one night.

• Katie (10/5): This is a great apartment for larger families or groups.Iwould definitely stay again - Easy to get to. Nice and clean. Enough room for everyone. Great communication by host. All basic essentials were provided. It would have been good to have had another swipe card and key as we needed to do different things at different times but we made do.

• Greg (4/5): Disappointing - Location Mould on bathroom ceilings and curtains in the master bed, dirty grout in bathrooms, no iron and ironing board, stained carpets, dirty lounge, air conditioning remote had no batteries, bed 3 bedhead had pieces of towel stitched over damaged areas, only one key and pass supplied, not enough seating in lounge.

Rooms were big ,very open and bright- loved the bathrooms aswell Nothing really. A few broken bits here and there but didn’t really effect our stay. Shame there was only one key card as we were 4 adults 2 kids and not always together.

• Nikki (9/5): Our stay was great, perfect location, had everything we needed, would definitely stay again for future concerts. - Great location, perfect for taking 2 teenagers to a concert. Having the main bedroom & ensuite up one end of the unit was great, provided both space & privacy. Kids loved the pool too. Finding the correct lift was challenging, maybe some photos would be helpful. It took us 3 goes to find the correct left as the numbers of which unit each lift goes to is shown anywhere. Regarding the parking, I didn’t realise that it was one spot in front of the other, not 2 spots side by side, & accidentally parked in the spot to the right, which was completely my mistake, & we got parked in. Thankfully, the owner of that unit left a note, noticing that we were not local, & was happy to come down & move her car. That was my error, but it the carpark is quite confusing.

• Helen (1/5): Absolutely appalling - avoid at all costs. - Location was convenient as it meant our UK family members, for whom I booked the property, were close by to our Olympic Park apartment and to the apartments of other family members living in Olympic Park. It is close to the IGA supermarket and to Olympic Park railway station. Because I am familiar with the standard of apartment accommodation in Olympic Park, including in this particular building, it was doubly disappointing to discover the poor standard of this apartment. I booked this apartment for our visiting UK family and paid $6905.25 for 15 nights. I was embarrassed by the very poorly maintained shabby and dirty standard of the apartment. The following is a review written by our UK family on departure: "We have stayed in some questionable accommodation over the years but this place takes the crown for being the most shockingly misrepresented, unsanitary and poorly maintained rental we've ever had the misfortune to stay at. Let's start with the horrendous smell in the ensuite bathroom - so vile that we had to bleach the drains daily just to make it tolerable. One of the toilets didn't work for the first two days of our stay and the kitchen sink leaked. The balcony was filthy and had no outdoor furniture, the fridge and freezer were dirty, we had to fix broken doors on the master wardrobe, there was mould on the blinds, the sofa was filthy and smelly. The so-called 'repairs' were laughable - towels literally SEWN onto the bed headboard to patch it up. The dining chair was broken, sharp and dangerous and the bed in the master bedroom had a broken leg, making sleeping on it a wobbly nightmare. In fact, the bed was so low due to the broken legs that getting out of it was a struggle. As if that weren't bad enough, there was no proper quilt cover for the master bed; instead, we had to sleep with a disgusting stained quilt sandwiched between two sheets, which, aside from being unhygienic, was also extremely uncomfortable. For a four-bedroom apartment, the lack of basic crockery and cooking utensils was ridiculous - we literally had to take turns making a cup of tea because there weren't enough cups. The fourth 'bedroom' was tiny with no windows. The cleanliness (or lack thereof) was appalling- you could write your name in the dust on the window ledges. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to state that the $6905.25.00 paid included a cleaning fee.

Booking.com should review offering this unit - Location Easy access Facilities in the complex Dirty filthy property with dust everywhere on furniture/windows/bathrooms/robes. Main toilet was broken leaving with one toilet between 5 of us. Provided with one set of keys only which really restricted our movements. The ensuite toilet was really filthy and stinky so we couldn’t use any of the bathrooms. Resorted to gym toilets but they closed at 10. Vacated early as it was really inconvenient. Multiple phone calls were unanswered and not returned Never recommending this to anyone

Someone had put water into a soap dispenser . Little things like broken chair , Glitter on the carpet let the property down . Returning the key was also a problem as the shop wasn’t open when we left .

The host communicated really well and the check instructions were very helpful There is a bad smell in the apartment. I’d say it’s related to the plumbing. It’s particularly bad in the ensuite bathroom.

• Lauretta (8/5): Very good - The apartment was clean and spacious and conveniently close to Qudos Arena so it was an easy walk there. The nearby restaurants and cafes were great (especially Thai Palate which was exceptional). The communication and key pickup instruction from the host was excellent. Also she allowed us to keep the car parked longer so that we could enjoy a late breakfast nearby. That was very much appreciated. Nothing that we didn't like except would just suggest that leaving some tea, coffee, milk and sugar sachets would go a long way in making the experience nicer in the morning.

• Demi (1/5): AVOID! - Nothing. We had booked for 2 nights and left after an hour of checking in and found alternate accommodation as this place is unfit for a family to stay. Now out of pocket because host refused! Disgusted in what we walked into. We refused to stay in this apartment. This place is absolutely filthy! Unfit for anyone to stay. We are now out of pocket for a weekend that was suppose to be an enjoyable holiday. Photos displayed on the booking profile are not what you’ll be provided, stains all over the carpets (host said it was water but as you can see in the photos that's not water) broken bed, food on the floor, stained smelly lounge, black mould on windowsills, full of dust, skirting boards were filthy throughout the whole apartment, smelly dishwasher, rugs with either food or animal poo stuck in it. The place was not fit for adults let alone kids. And a very unhelpful host who couldn’t care less, lies and changes her story every time she opened her mouth then refused to answer our calls after she said she would "call us back" about providing refund. She’s happy to take your money and provide you with filth. Booking.com are also no help if you get stuck in this trap. Extremely disappointing and will never use this booking platform again!

Kitchen not stocked well for a 4 bedroom place if you intend on cooking/ eating in. A couple of issues while we were there with a very bad smell in 1 bathroom and couldn’t get the washing machine to work (although apparently another switch I could have switched on)
• Melissa (4/5): Very inadequate - We went overnight with 6 adults and 1 child. This is a 4 bedroom apartment that only has couch seating for 3 adults and a table setting for 4. Not adequate for the 7 people the unit accommodates. A dishwasher was provided but no powder or tablet so you could use it. No tea or coffee or longlife milk. The main bedroom ensuite toilet lid was missing and the seat broken. There was a very strong sewage smell in ensuite, so much so if you didn't close the door you could smell it through the unit. The main bedroom bed is so low to the floor not sure why they bothered with a frame at all. Not easy for anyone with a bad hip or knee etc to get in our out off. Only one key and swipe is given, if you are with a group, no one can use the lift or get back into the building unless you are all together. We regularly visit this area and we will not be staying here again, had much better value for money.

At first we thought there was not enough cutlery so we made do till later when we found the rest of it in the top tray of the dishwasher, unwashed, hardened with food and smelly. There were no other dishes in there. Also no teatowels for drying up.
