Guest Reviews
- Steve (9/5): Geat stay in a great location - The pickup instructions were a little convoluted Clearer instructions from one person, rather than trying to track down multiple people
- Lisa (9/5): Awesome!! A spacious well layed out space, a great base for our trip - apartment layout fabulous
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and tidy. Convenient location. Tea and coffee supplies but no milk. Check in process was quite difficult. Having to pay a security deposit and then screen shot and send picture was inconvenient. Not sure why CC was not just charged.
- Adriana (8/5): Very good - More details for the mailbox collection would ve helpful and finding the entrance was a bit awkward
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional - I booked this apartment for a weekend attending a convention at the nearby Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and everything turned out perfectly. The aircon worked well and kept it cool on the particularly humid weekend. The beds were HUGE, and the fact that there was a bathroom for either bedroom was great too. Two couples could easily stay here. Overall the apartment was incredibly modern and spacious, and perfectly situated for exploring the south Brisbane area.
- Denise (3/5): Disappointing - Great location!
Friendly efficient and responsive staff.
They did kindly post my skirt & T shirt to me in HVB 350km away for $75 Post paying for non refundable 2 night stay, I was then informed for the first time, there would be no arrival instructions until I paid $300 refundable deposit. Arrival instructions were confusing. On opening door to apartment we were overwhelmed with a suffocating pungent, musty mouldy smell. Visually it was gloomy, sterile, uninviting and did not reflect the online photos. No view, hemmed in by surrounding apartments, it made us feel claustrophobic. The small cheap, grey stained sofa did not represent adequate amount of comfortable seating. Needs painting, decor upgrades, styling and colour to compensate for lack of light and views. Plumbing needs investigating as probably cause of pungent smell. Basins and showers slow draining and mould in showers. Also signs of rot around bottom of door frames in bathroom 2. Cheap worn towels, no hand towels or face washers. Empty hand wash in Bathroom 2 & badly damaged lid on rubbish bin. Also same room, rattly bedhead, no electrical point for lamp and no table or suitcase rack. No long life milk in fridge. Rubbish and cigarette butts on artificial grassed area. It was a very disappointing experience for us and certainly not worth the 4 star price. My rating would be 2 star. This soulless apartment is screaming out for love and attention and then it's full potential could be realised and seen in accupency rates.
- Jocelyn (9/5): Superb - Availability and space, off street parking No signage to confirm the property was prime city retreat
- Catherine (10/5): really relaxing and comfortable - easy to communicate with host - much appreciated - lovely place to stay and quick walk to the convention centre N/A
- Veronica (9/5): Did not like the car lift. - Was clean and comfy close enough to Qpack that we walked. The car lift is very tricky my friend damaged her car trying to leave. Some of the instructions were hard to understand.had a shower and there was water on the floor outside the bathroom door.
- Seimon (6/5): Unit had a comfortable bed, was in a good location but hosts were the worst I have come across. - Bed was comfortable and location was good. Extremely bad check in . Arrived at accommodation with no instructions. Had trouble getting a hold of the host. When they rang back they made out we had not paid the $300 deposit, which we had a week earlier, and had confirmed a week earlier that it had been paid. Finally emailed us instructions. Lock was stuck. Finally got into letterbox whereby key was in another lock device which also was not opening easily. Took 50 minutes outside before we managed to get into the unit. Tv was not tuned in, no tea, coffee or uht milk. Nothing but cooking oil, salt, pepper and brown sugar.
- Michael (6/5): Ok but probably look elsewhere next time. - It was in convenient location. No change of sheets or towels for entire 6 night stay.
- David (9/5): Excellent location -
- Michael (3/5): Very disappointing - Could not get free to air channels on TV - Phoned hosts who tried to assist to no avail
Pillows were dirty - unpleasant odor
No top Sheet
Unpleasant smell in corridor outside apartment
Insufficient info on how to access lock box on arrival - was sorted after telephoning hosts.
- Cherie (6/5): Pleasant - We were told that the place came with a car parking spot on the day of check in. When I picked the key up, there was no remote for the garage and I checked into the apartment to see if the remote was in there. I called them up and was told there was no parking due to a problem with the remote. The communication was very poor and for the price we are paying I would expect better. They were not very apologetic.
- Ann (8/5): A fantastic stay with friends - Great location A few more facilities in the kitchen would be great
- Barbara (7/5): A great experience to visit this beautiful city and the historic, amazing art and cruising on the waterways. - A lovely eclectic location and quiet. The Apartment was nicely presented though minimal and had most basic requirements. Not easy to navigate entrance and attaining a key as we were are elder and not able to download the dropbox ap however we were given assistance by the contact person who helped us obtain the key and parking door although we just used the visitor park as again we weren't familar with the internal parking setup. perhaps an extra blanket for the beds and two toilet rolls, tissues and a proper dish cloth also. As we are both also Airbnb owners in NZ we would have loved to see a brief welcome pack with suggestions. ie a map showing where supermarket is, recommendations to eating places in close proximity.
- Shay (8/5): Great location tidy unit value accommodation - The location was great, and the unit was clean and comfortable. The host was great at communication. Despite a few issues, I will stay again 😃 Building name is different from listing its Harmony. We had issues with accessing the garage as remote didn't work most of the trip was spent hoping we could get a park.
No extra blankets in the unit and air conditioner in one room made a horrible noise, kind of like lots of frogs. But had to put up with it due to the cold.
Some more attention to cleaning would be good dust on top of tiles in bathroom no egg flip 😂
- Ken (7/5): Began badly due to poorly worded instructions about key access. -
- Toni (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (6/5): Good location … first level foyer smelt like dead fish. Room itself was nice, smell did not follow into the room. - Location Car lift and a bike rack sitting 600mm out from the wall high up without any fluro markings to indicate it was there and pierced my back window being $500 poorer for the stay.
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - Location....easy short walk to South Bank and QPac Theatre. Nice quiet street location.
- Amber (2/5): Very poor -
- Nickols (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie (10/5): Great stay - You should put that there’s a car elevator on the listing. It’s baller.
- Marianne (4/5): Disappointing - Close to South Bank, shops and tourist places Not properly cleaned. Old bottles underneath the beds, smelled like old sigarets in the bedrooms and found an old syringe in the dishwasher.
- Eryn (10/5): Absolutely loved it and would re book in the future - The apartment is gorgeous and well laid out. The rooms were clean and the car elevator to get to the car park was such a cool experience! There were quite a few cockroaches that came out at night time.
- Carolyn (7/5): Good -
- Erica (10/5): Apartment was spotless and very clean. Very happy. - The location is great, very easy and quick to walk to the train station, Woolworth, IGA. I didn't like how the check in time was 2pm because through booking.com it had confirmed my check in for 7-8am.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): The apartment was centrally located and easy walk to great restaurants. It was really clean. - N/a There was a mouldy smell when we first opened the door.
There was no natural light
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Vikki (9/5): Would recommend to discover Brisbane. - Comfortable size for 2 couples, air conditioned, comfy beds. Walking distance to Southbank and the city. N/A
- Kylee (9/5): Superb -
- Aussie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and value
