This place is absolutely NOT what it claims to be. It’s marketed as a “luxury two-bedroom apartment” – but in reality, it’s nothing more than a glorified guest house awkwardly tacked onto the side of the host’s main home. It’s essentially a shared house, not a private apartment, and absolutely nothing about it is “luxurious.” The so-called kitchen? It’s just an outdoor BBQ area – fully open to the elements, with no proper appliances or facilities. This made it incredibly difficult for us, especially since we were travelling with our 3-month-old baby and needed a clean, functional space to prepare bottles and food. The listing blatantly lies about the facilities available, and Gary (the host) was fully aware of our situation. When I raised these issues with Gary, instead of trying to resolve anything, he swore at me and hung up the phone. He flat-out refused to engage with Booking.com or offer any compensation. We lost $2,000 to this scam, and he showed zero interest in making it right. To make matters worse, the place was filthy. Floors were sticky, food splatter was visible on the walls, and there were empty chip bags and food wrappers hidden behind the furniture. Clearly no proper cleaning is done between guests. This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had – not just disappointing, but deeply dishonest and disrespectful.
