• Ryan (10/5): Fantastic apartment that exceeded expectations - The apartment exceeded my expectations. It has been remodeled and is extremely nice. It's located in a great neighborhood, right across from a park, and in an excellent location overall. Parking is easy and convenient. The apartment is even nicer in person and offers amazing value for the price.

• Oleksandr (7/5): Renovated apartment close to Santa Monica pier - We liked the location; the neighborhood is quiet and safe, close to the E line metro station, from which you can get to Santa Monica or downtown Los Angeles. There are several supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment is very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and a good selection of kitchenware. The shower has plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is comfortable. In front of the building there is a garden with a guava and a lemon tree, and every morning squirrels and hummingbirds come there to feast on the fruit. This is a cosmetically renovated old house; the walls are very thin, the ceilings are wooden, and the windows don't close tightly, so there is absolutely no sound insulation. You can hear every movement in the neighboring apartments and footsteps from above. There is also constant noise from the highway. The wardrobe in the bedroom is old, simply updated with white paint, and the plumbing is also outdated.

• Luke (8/5): Satisfied Seattlite - You have parking off the street. Being able to enjoy the entire apartment to yourself is great. It has most of what you'd need. Cozy space on a quiet street. The host was great. For the first 3 days the smoke detector/CO2 detector beeped every 30 secs because it had reached the end of its life cycle. The host was great with communication and was able to resolve the issue eventually.

Has all your essentials like towels, soaps, etc. Neal was very attentive and overall a wonderful host. Parking was very easy. I definitely recommend this spot if you are traveling to Santa Monica. I'll definitely be booking with Neal again in the future.

A couple of starter coffee pods for the Keurig coffee maker would have been nice. No cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil, etc.). Not very close to a convenient store of grocery store (if walking). Credit card payment was not an option at time of booking. Host requested payment via Venmo/Zelle.
