- Alison (1/5): Bad - location I booked this property for a family holiday, but our experience was deeply distressing. During our stay, we found used syringes inside the unit—first in the dryer, then in a kitchen cabinet. This was not only unhygienic but posed a serious safety risk. I am thankful no one in my family was harmed, but the discovery caused significant stress.
When we reported this to the property, their response was a simple apology, blaming a “new cleaner” for failing to check the dryer. This explanation was completely unacceptable given the severity of the issue. Safety should be a top priority, and this response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, after our stay, the property charged my credit card for damages, including a missing part from the dryer—an issue clearly unrelated to us, especially as they admitted they hadn’t checked the dryer before our arrival.
Additionally, one of the bunk beds was positioned dangerously close to a window that could be opened fully, with no window guards in place. Given that the apartment was in a high-rise building, this posed a serious safety concern, especially with young children.
The overall cleanliness of the unit was also poor, compounding our dissatisfaction. I do not recommend this property due to the serious safety concerns, inadequate management response, and unjustified charges. This experience has left me feeling unsafe and deeply dissatisfied.
I have also attached some photos, unfortunately only 4 allowed. One photo is a photo they sent me apparently timestamped which they just wrote a date on the photo claiming prestige walls. I have photo evidence chip in wall and dryer draw already missing when we arrived. After returner part of the bond still took $132.
Dirty walls behind bin, food splatter in cupboards and on walls, carpets not cleaned and dishes and utensils still dirty.
- Kerryn (1/5): Misrepresented apartment on booking.com. Very unsuitable - location We booked a 3 bedroom apartment (2 rooms with queen and 1 room with 2 single beds). Our booking form confirmed it was 3 bedrooms. On arrival it was two TINY rooms that just fit the queen beds and a double bunk bed in the lounge. We were 4 single working woman. The booking officer said they don't have 3 bedrooms and I booked wrong, however at least I had the confirmed print out. We had to move out immediately and pay for another apartment. On top of that the apartment was filthy. Carpet never vacuumed filled with woman's long hair, tiled floor not washed, fridge filthy, bathroom cupboards filthy, bathroom still had masses of previous owners (think this was an owned flat the the people moved out for a quick rent) used body creams, shampoos, used soaps etc. The cupboard was full of left over old food. The few drawers available for putting away clothes was filthy. We did not spend one night in this apartment.
- Yvette (1/5): They don’t return your security deposit and just ignore your messages. . - Close to Melbourne Central Property is not responding to messages anymore and has not returned $300 security deposit. Bin was full when we arrived.
- Marley (7/5): Good - Location was great. Easy to get to tram stops and the Queen Victoria Markets. Required to transfer a bond or credit card payment prior to stay. Carpets are dirty.
- Ash9au (5/5): Great location but otherwise pretty disappointing. - The building was in an excellent location. Level 39 gave great views over the city scape. Was good value for money if it had actually been a 3 bedroom apartment, which it was not. Lack of communication regarding room number and how to access wifi upon arrival. Was not 3 bedrooms! Don't get fooled by the claims in the booking and photos. The bunk beds are actually in the loungeroom, next to the tv, which is not ideal for a family staying when the kids go to bed early. Should be advertised as 2 bedrooms but sleeps 6. Wifi did not work for 3 days. A new modem was left on our doorstep with no instructions regarding to install it, connect it etc. TV does not get any normal channels and couldn't use netflix etc until the wifi was fixed. Could have been cleaner. The carpets and rugs are all stained and the shower needed another scrub. We found little star shaped dirty pimple patches all over the place, on the cushions, on the rug in the lounge room and in one of the bedrooms. Was a bit gross.
- Michael (4/5): City stay 3/10, 6/10 - View of the city with where we stayed. It was adequate for our stay. Had a disposable gloves on the floor, had a bed head on the balcony, no bed sheets on beds as found out late in the night as we had a donner cover as the sheet. A tray for the oven in the room didn't fit the oven at all.
- Symons (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (7/5): Good - plenty of room for a family and location was fine. Didn't know it was on the 39th floor - wife scared of hights and didn't stay
- Yoke (7/5): Good -
