Guest Reviews
- Diem (5/5): Good apartment but the rest was disappointing - The apartment was good and decently clean. Location was great, close to the Skytree tower (and associated shopping centre - there was a beautiful christmas market and decorations). There are a 7 Eleven, a Lawson and a supermarket nearby. There are also some good value restaurants near one of the the stations.
It was walking distance from couple of stations (15 mins). There's also bus stop no. 24 (Yokokawabashi) right next to the apartment. The lift was a bonus. Whilst the apartment itself was good, the furnishings were a let down. The chairs were all broken and wobbly (the seats were detached from the legs). The couch was so old it was missing cushioning so really hard to sit on. Even the beds seemed wobbly. The blind in one of the room was broken so forget about sleeping after daylight (we had to use a makeshift curtain with the spare sheets). The towels and sheets didn't seem clean and the slippers were dirty so we used our own. The crockery was not ceramic so probably not microwaveable (health risk concerns).
The washing machine was broken (kept coming up with an error message). Our clothes were still wet after a few hours of trying to get it to work. In the end, we had to use the laundromat, which luckily was nearby (less than 5 mins walk).
The host/owner was not responsive when I raised the issues with him/her.
Overall, the apartment could be good if better care was taken with the interior to make it more comfortable.
- Han0403 (8/5): 很好的地點,附近有兩間錢湯 - 房間插頭夠多 窗廉其中一間損壞,洗衣機無法脫水
- Georgy (6/5): It's fine I guess, but I probably won't stay here again - 1) Great location: it is near the Tokyo Skytree and several other subway and train stations. It's really comfortable to get to most of the main attractions from this apartment.
2) Apartments are easy to find.
3) Cool advance toilet.
4) Clean white bed sheets.
5) The kitchen equipment (microwave, refrigerator, kettle, etc) was working fine. 1) The apartment was moderately dirty. Nothing you can't fix with some time and a rag (provided by the owner thankfully) - some on the floor, some near the heading of the bed. The air-conditioning was really dirty, but it hardly affected us, so it's alright.
2) The wardrobe in one of the rooms was closed with some ropes and a lock, but if you look inside you can see a pile of dirty tissues, so we could not use it. Furthermore there are really few places to put your things in the bedrooms, and without the wardrobe there are basically only a nightstand.
3) Nights were super cold (October), and one of 2 air-conditioning units was not giving hot air at all.
4) We could not make the washing machine work - it may be just us, not understanding how to make it, or it might be broken (that explains dirty tissues in the wardrobe), any way we were forced to use laundry (it's not far from the apartment).
5) The sofa in the living room was broken and there was only one chair there, and the chair was broken too.
Notes (It's not a bad thing, just a note for those who will stay after us):
It is hard to communicate with the owner if you don't know Japanese - it's better to write in Japanese right away.
The window with Tokyo Skytree view is located in the bathroom, not the bedroom.
If you are looking for a way to close blinds in the right bedroom, try blinds controls that are in the living room (that closes both living room's and the right bedroom's blinds for some reason).

- Olsen (10/5): - Rent och bekvämt, nära till allt och lugnt område.
- lotus (8/5): Wonderful - Good place. We were very close to skytree making food and shopping very easy, plus the train station was there so it was very easy to get about Tokyo. Great price for our weeklong stay we very much liked it here We’re not used to sleeping on the floor so found it a bit uncomfortable at times but other than that this was a great place
- Cory (1/5): - Customer service

- Amit (8/5): Neat little apartment close to the city! - Good location, bit of a walk to the stations. Rooms adequate, has a lift, ideal for a family of 4. Washing machine and all kitchen equipment available. The wardrobe in one of the bedrooms was closed and not available for use (no information provided). The code and location provided of the mailbox were incorrect so had to message the property at 10 pm, thankfully they responded and shared the correct location and code for the keybox. No aircon in the living area where the sofa bed is located.
- Alberto (7/5): Really not ok. - The apartment was in a really good position, 3 metro lines nearby, few restaurants and the view was really nice over the SkyTree.
It’s an ok accommodation ONLY if you are MAXIMUM 5 people. The apartment was put on booking for maximum 7 people, since we were 7 we can assure that it was not possible to stay all together in a comfortable way.
There was no space for the two futon (and they were really thin, so basically some of us slept directly on the floor without any support), and the couch that was transformed into a single bed was not setup when we arrived and the bed sheets for that were nowhere to be found (we had to buy the linens and the blanket to sleep on it cause it was really dirty).
The place was dirty and the host was unreachable, we try to contract him/her asking for the sheets mentioned before and it seemed to have talked to a bot, all the answers seemed pre-set.
It’s fine only if you’re going to be 4/5 people, otherwise I suggest to search something else.
- Xin (5/5): Passable - The location is good. It's not clean. When we checked into the homestay, the place was not clean enough for us to stay and we have to clean up the house on our own. Cleanliness really need to be improve.
- Mei (4/5): Not recommended to choose this accommodation. - We had a terrible experience that the room was not cleaned upon our arrival and it wasn’t cleaned over the night while we have to book hotel nearby to stay over. It was cleaned after we reported the next day morning.
The property offered a night of refund but honestly it cannot be compensated what we had gone through on the first night of arrival. The key box access was only given at 19:09 when we further informed our arrival time. Check in time should be 16:00 and the key box access should be provided whether we can arrive by 16:00.
The room isn’t too clean after it is cleaned but acceptable.
The only good thing is the pocket WiFi provided.
- Sara (10/5): scenic stay near the skytree - the skytree apartment offered a more traditional stay in a residential area, still close enough to the hustle of central Tokyo. we loved the experience of sleeping on a futon. located between two subway stations - about a 15 minute walk either way, we enjoyed our walks back to the apartment away from the crowded areas - which offered great views of the Tokyo skytree tower. the apartment was conveniently surrounded by konbinis and izakayas. the apartment was simple and clean, offering us a great place to rest and recharge. the helpful host made checking in and out was very simple. we wished there was a TV, as we enjoy watching local news and variety shows.
- Gabriel (5/5): Nice apartment, shitty service - It’s right next to the Tokyo Skytree and quite spacious. When we checked in for our first night, the room was still completely dirty from the previous guests as the room service hasn’t been there to clean by 4pm. After we contacted the property, they told us the room was going to be ready by 8pm, so we had to wait until we could use the accommodation. When we wanted a refund for the first night due to this inconvenience the owner thoroughly ignored our request and didn’t provide any support. Location and facility is quite good but customer service and our personal experience wasn’t.
- Gelena (5/5): Passable - Noisy and curtains didn't work well in one bedroom , artificial street light kept us awake
- Charly (10/5): Awesome stay - Location and the fact that it is very clean
- Ronja (4/5): Disappointing - The location was good, just note that the metro is a 15min walk if you use the tokyo metro cards. There are buses near.
It has amenities required, kitchen, AC, electric water kettle etc.
Check-in was easy and convenient (except we got told the wrong key box).
It is possible to do laundry. When we arrived there was a lot of water on the floor. The freezer had accumulated ice to such a degree that the door were impossible to close and we had to defrost part of it so it could be closed and stop flooding the apartment. This was not how we imagined spending our first night in Tokyo. When the host was told about the problem (and pictures were sent) the only message we got was "got it. I understand. Thank you very much." and nothing more.
The bathroom smelled a bit mouldy and the floor was not very clean.
The balcony advertised is actually not really possible to use, due to it being blocked by the buildning next door and water dripping down from above.
