• Joanna (3/5): Poor - When I arrived it turned out that the room I booked is actually a spare bedroom in the flat where this family lives. It's stated in the description that among the facilities in this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The whole family was always in the living room so I was provided with no privacy whatsoever when outside my room. The main host's partner works from home and his office is based in the living room so there was no way for me to comfortably stay in the "shared lounge" as there was constantly someone in there. When I wanted to use the bathroom I was required to walk past the living room. The living room door was always open, I was constantly exposed to the hosts' presence which felt extremely uncomfortable. In my opinion the facility's description is highly misleading. Hosts are very nice however it's definitely not a place for someone who expects at least a minimum level of privacy.
• Jake (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed the room as it was super comfortable, especially the bed. The hosts were also great, helping me with the shower to make the water hot. They also offered me a coffee in the morning. The location was good being right next to Mercadona, local cafes and a lovely square (Benalua). I struggled a little with the cooker, although the hosts were willing to help, and there is a technique to ensuring that there is hot water coming out of the shower, but again, the hosts are happy to help with this.

• Dmytro (2/5): I want my money back. - none Totally misleading information. This is a tiny bedroom (7sq m max) in a small apartment where the owners live. You need to use their not-so-clean bathroom. Supermarket below load-unload goods all night and you can hear it. The place smells like a household items store. Thank god we need only stay 8 hours before the early morning train to Madrid. Worst booking I ever remember.

• Michal (10/5): I spent one night in this apartment before my departure from Alicante airport. An ideal apartment for a quick look at al - Lovely apartment with super host family. Excellent location, close to the city centre and all tourist attractions, within walking distance of the airport bus stop. Spacious room with a large and comfortable bed. Very friendly, smooth and uncomplicated communication with the host.. very attentive, warm and helpful host, who immediately upon arrival gave me useful advice regarding visiting interesting places in the city. Everything was just perfect.
