Guest Reviews
- Linda (9/5): Aangenaam rustig verblijf in groene omgeving…
- Carole (9/5): Excellent stay will definitely return - Carolina very friendly and helpful
Apartment lovely
Great location and nice and peaceful Nothing
- Andre (6/5): Gran Canaria is a fantastic destination. The apartment and area are idea for tourists with a car. - The property is well located. Scenery is stunning. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and beaches are within a 5 minute drive.
We were able to take part in loads of the island activities and excursions without having to drive more that 30 minutes. On arrival I contacted the host at the arranged time 3pm. I was told she would be there in 5 minutes. At 3:30 I called again as she had not arrived. She said her son was waiting for me but I wasn't there. I gave the address as it appears on the booking.com website. I was at 25, the correct address is 27. Her son met me, gave me a key and remote, he spoke no English so I had to hand him our phones to enter the WiFi code. He then left.
The property is described as having one bedroom. It is a studio, bedroom, lounge and kitchen are all in one. The 50m2 includes the patio. There is no oven, just a microwave.
The hot water stays on for 4 minutes max at a time, so I was never able to wash and condition my hair and shower myself without having to use ice cold water. My husband used the shower in the morning and me in the evening. I reported this to the host it was never rectified.
There was absolutely no information provided about the facilities on the property, nothing for the local area. When I turned on my Wi-Fi the host had tried calling me repeatedly so we would arrive earlier as it was a public holiday and an important family day for them. Had she made arrangements with us before we departed from Ireland I would have gladly checked in early as we landed at 10am and the host knew this days before are I had told her. It would have been nice if we had been told that all supermarkets close at 6pm on a public holiday.
I was dissatisfied with the host and her communication.
