Guest Reviews
- Camilla (5/5): Issues with accessibility - Helpful host, fresh bread and milk available on arrival, clean and tidy. Accessibility issues. Very steep stairs to the two bedrooms. No upstairs toilet. Unfortunately not identifiable in photos or description.
Unable to walk to CBD and on street parking available on one side of the narrow road only. No dining table and chairs with stools and bench available. One lounge and single chair. Very tight seating for our party of four.
Small outdoor BBQ area needs clean with dying plants.
- Wouter (10/5): - Lovely place, very clean and everything we needed was there (and much more).
- David (9/5): -
- Annie (10/5): Great - Clean, comfortable and within walking distance to central Hobart and waterfront

- Kev Bowles (4/5): Could have been a whole lot better - The location was good and kitchen well stocked We were due to check in at 2.00pm and arrived at 2.05pm by a lady who advised that we could not check in as the previous person had not checked out. She advised us she would contact us in an hour. This did not happen so went back at 5.00pm to be met by another lady who was cleaning and advised us it won't be ready until at least 6.00pm she did give us a key. Had we been informed prior to our check in time there was an issue we could have made other plans for things to do for 4 hours. Once in the property the best I could describe the best I could describe the stairs is that they were a death trap. They were very steep and the first time I tried to use the handrail it the whole length up the stairs fell off the was so for the whole time we basically had to crawl up the steps and to come down brace ourselves against each wall. This was a major OHS issue. Finaly there was only one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 3 days. We did buy toilet paper and leave it there.

- Kylie (10/5): - The location and the facilities available in the villa. The steep stairs! If I knew there were steep stairs to access the 2 bedrooms I would not have booked the accommodation as my elderly parents were with me and struggled with the stairs a lot. The bedrooms also were very stuffy. An air-conditioner would help but we understand it doesn't get that hot in Hobart.
- Sonya (10/5): Beautiful cosy 2 bedroom stay - Quiet Area, beautifully renovated heritage building. Felt like home. With the little extras made the stay easy.
We will be back
- Siobhan (8/5): - Great location, clean and well maintained. The fresh fruit and bread was a nice touch. Beds are firm and bedrooms were very warm. We didn't mind this too much, but the stairs are very steep and may not have been suitable to someone with heavy bags, an injury or a bit older.
- Noelia (7/5): Good short stay super centered - Pretty house in a very good location. Good amenities and very clean. The staircase is very steep, the risers are very high. It’s not confortable and a bit risky

- Christine (9/5): Cosy, clean & modern renovated terrace accommodation in North Hobart. - The property had everything & more than we expected. The bread, fruit & drinks were a gratefully received extra & make a stay friendly & personable.
The heating extras, towel rails & bathroom floor heating are a bonus especially for a Hobart winter.
The location is exceptional especially if you are a walker & also if you enjoy the North Hobart precinct.
It was very quiet which we loved.
Free parking near the accommodation is also a bonus.
The property is very clean, well equipped, modern, light & cosy. The beds are very comfortable. There are generous amounts of towels , pillows etc. There was nothing to complain about.
For some guests the steep stairs to the bedroom could be an issue however they are carpeted, do not squeak & have automatic electric lighting.
- Gemma (10/5): We will be back! - Beautiful modern house. Big beds. Location fantastic!
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Very enjoyable - Stairs are a problem but owner is aware of this but it needs to be addressed. PARKING IS A PROBLEM
- Mary (5/5): Lovely welcoming touches but sensor lights meant my friend had disturbed sleep. - The fruit n real tea n teapot, fresh milk and bread n other goodies were a lovely surprise. Thank you, much appreciated The sensor lights came on in my friends bedroom on left at top of stairs everytime I opened my door but didn't come on in my room to right of stairs when I moved!!!
Bedside light in right side bedroom wouldn't stay on.
Sensor lights did work on stairs which was great as so stairs so steep
Also it was stated that Skybus stopped at end of street. It does NOT. Stop is 26 mins away. Wasted time on that info!
- Edwina (10/5): An excellent place for an overnight stay in Hobart - It had everything we needed and more
Very clean and comfortable though the beds were harder than I enjoy but it was a lovely terrance house The beds were harder than but this is personal taste
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need . Great location walking distance to restaurants shops & cinema. Good wifi & great communication from Kim.
Fabulous welcome with fresh bread, milk fruits, fudge & drinks Would highly recommend & definitely stay again. Nothing
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - clean , modern.
- Murphy (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent - a quiet street yet 5 minute walk away from cafes and restaurants. We walked to and from the center of Hobart which took about 20 minutes. Property had everything we could need for a 4 night stay - lots of towels for our use, milk in the fridge when we arrived and a bottle of wine. Nothing stands out - we had a very good stay in this property
- Barbara (6/5): Pleasant - Where the place was situated. It had everything equipment wise. The welcome of wine, beer and chocolate was a pleasant surprise. Just lounging and stairs were an issue.. The stairs, and the bathroom downstairs and the lounging facilities. We had a lady who was walking impaired and therefore had to sleep downstairs on the lounge. If we had known how difficult the stairs were we would look d have found something else. The railing was very loose and when i was ascending the staircase it came off in my hand. The owners need to be informed so as to secure it on as a safety issue!
Over all the place was nice, but not suitable for anyone with a movement disability. I feel this should be advised on booking.com 8th
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Had everything and more that we needed. Nothing
- Amy (10/5): Great space in an excellent location. - Lovely place to stay! Has all the little things you need like extra towels, sauces and spreads in the fridge and cupboard and well stocked crockery too! The location was great! Walking distance to lots of great restaurants. I didn’t realise it was 2 stories and the stair case is fairly steep and narrow.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Felt very welcome on arrival. Fresh bread and fruit wine and beer available. Loved it here, will be back.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bridgette (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay here!! It was the most convenient location. Walking distance to the town centre yet the street was very quiet. Everything was clean and beautiful inside. The beds were extra comfortable and it really was a home away from home. We utilised the kitchen often it had everything we needed from pots/pans/containers etc... it was very handy! Even has a washing machine/dryer and a BBQ.
We were sad to leave! We will definitely be staying here again if we visit Tasmania in the future. It was very reasonably priced and there was milk, bread and fruit available on arrival for us which was lovely! Highly recommend!
Thank you Kim and team. You made our stay very delightful 🙂
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Marli (9/5): Quiet and quaint just on the outside of Hobart CBD! - Location was great, perfect for accessing town. Quiet and good parking available on the weekend! Small touches like water, bread, milk and local jams were a bonus!
- Margaret (8/5): Lovely, well appointed 2 storey terrace home. Great location - Very thoughtful bread, milk, fruit and drinks upon arrival. The bedrooms upstairs but bathroom downstairs. Wasnt aware it was a 2 story terrace until checking in which was unfortunate
