- Annamária (1/5): Még jó, hogy csak 1 napra kellett. - Kérésre összekészítették a reggelinket a korai távozás miatt. Nem volt ablak a szobába csak a lépcsőfeljáróra néző épületen belül. Este 19:00-kor kapcsolta fel a boilert amikor átadta a szobát, így nem tudtunk megfürdeni, mert nem volt melegvíz. Behazudták, hogy van működő éttermük és 15 perc alatt kész lesz. Közben közel egy órát várattak, mert úgy hoztak valahonnan, amit nem sikerült felmelegíteni rendesen, és még 13% szervízdíjat rászámoltak az amúgy is irreálisan drága menüjükre. Az épület rendkívül zajos, a liftet és az ajtókat tisztán hallani, az utcai zajokkal együtt. Az utca tele van ló, szamár és teveszarral. Az esti recepciós is lekezelő volt.

- Kuzmenko (4/5): - Вид на пирамиды. Круглосуточное заселение. По низкой стоимости ожидаешь не многого. Мы ждали только возможности принять душ и чистую пастель. Душ был в не рабочем состоянии, так как он протекал отовсюду и лил куда угодно только не на тебя. В раковине был засор. Пастельное чистое, но почему то застелено без пододеяльника. Все остальное (облезлые шкафы, отваливающиеся ручки двери, грязный диван) для нас не имело особого значения. Вид с крыши действительно красивый. Но чтобы до него добраться нужно подняться по странной лестнице. Здание очень старое, лестница не более полметра в ширину. Должна добавить, что вокруг все здания в таком же полуразрушенном состоянии. До пирамид 5 минут пешком по грязным переулкам и дело не в верблюдах и лошадках. Поездив по старому Каиру, где и располагаются пирамиды и Гранд музей я поняла, что так везде. Хотите чистоты езжайте в новый Каир, а от туда на такси до любой достопримечательности (такси в Каире очень дешевое). Думаю за небольшую плату можно залезть на любое здание и сделать красивое фото.

Я в восторге. Единственный минус, это кондиционер, который не имеет пульта, он шумел всю ночь, приходилось периодически его отключать. Очень шумный кондиционер.

- Gean (7/5): - Sehr gute Lage, das Hotel lag in Fußnähe zu den Pyramiden. Funktionierende Klimaanlage. Gute Dusche. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Pyramiden. Sehr kleiner Aufzug. Einer Angestellter war sehr Pushy was der Verkauf von Attraktionen anbetrifft. Die anderen Beiden waren Hilfsbereit und Sympatisch. Kleines Zimmer. Frühstück war nicht lobenswert.

The rooms are simple and comfortable nothing special! Great budget hotel! It felt very musty and a little dirty. The location wasn’t great but had a wonderful view of the pyramids
- Mehmet Ugur (8/5): Hotel is right choice for price/performance. - It is within walking distance of the Pyramid area. An extra roof has been built for the view, and it is the highest point in the area. It has a very beautiful view. The breakfast selection is limited but adequate. I later learned that the tour guide arranged by the hotel is with you, but he is not there to look after you; he is focused on making money off you. He charges much more than the agreed price for the horse/camel ride inside the pyramids, as he has already made arrangements with certain people. Don’t assume that any place he takes you is cheap. Leave without paying. Do not arrange tours through the hotel under any circumstances. A Dinner cruise tour can be arranged at a reasonable price.

- kiany (6/5): - Für den Stadtteil war die Unterkunft sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gesprächsfreudig, einige haben sich sogar bemüht Deutsch zu sprechen 😀 Die Zimmergröße war OK. Es gibt sogar einen Mini-Lift. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer (3 Erwachsene + 1 Kind) und ein Doppelzimmer (2 Jugendliche). Auf Anfrage bekamen wir weitere Handtücher sowie Wasser in Flaschen. Zum Frühstück gab es regionale Kost - das war ausreichend und schmackhaft. Der Ausblick war Grund Nr. 1 wieso wir überhaupt diese Unterkunft gewählt haben. Der Blick auf die Pyramiden ist wirklich toll! Abends mit Beleuchtung und man kann sogar die Lichtshow von hier beobachten (vorausgesetzt man ist zu diesen Zeitpunkt anwesend). Ein Bad im üblichen Sinn gibt es nicht. Es gab zwei winzige Zellen. Eine davon war eine winzige begehbare Duschkabine das andere ein minimal größeres WC inkl. Waschbecken. Im Doppelzimmer ebenso, jedoch gab es dort einen Whirlpool, aber mitten im Raum. Was uns generell absolut gefehlt hatte, waren Halterungen für die Handtücher. Es gab keine einzige Möglichkeit die Handtücher nach Gebrauch aufzuhängen. Auch eine Ablage für Toilett Artikel beim Waschbecken hat uns gefehlt. Was mir bei anderen Gäste Feedback gefehlt hat war zu erwähnen wie der Stadtteil aussieht. Kairo ist generell sehr dreckig und um diese Unterkunft tummeln sich sämtliche Pferde, Esel und Kamele die für die Touristen tagsüber "eingespannt" sind. Kurz gesagt es riecht in diesem Stadtteil wie im Pferdestall. Das sollte man aushalten können. Aber hier nochmals positiv erwähnt, die Unterkunft ist für die Umgebung sauber!! Der Ausblick wirklich lohnenswert. Preis-Leistung passt.

However, I recommend that management focus on the point mentioned below to improve service quality and build lasting guest loyalty. "I had booked for three nights and was genuinely considering becoming a regular guest at your hotel. Unfortunately, after more than ten days of repeated false promises regarding the TV repair — and eventually being told, 'If you want to continue like this, fine. If not, that’s up to you' — I chose to end my stay. If the management believes that losing one guest is acceptable because others will come, and opts not to extend even a basic apology, that mindset is not suited for any hotel aiming to remain competitive today. That said, if these concerns are acknowledged and addressed with sincerity and professionalism, I remain open to further communication — because respectful service can rebuild trust, even after serious disappointment."

The location is great, very close to the main attractions, I really enjoyed it, thank you very much to all the staff, you are incredible Wifi were a bit poor , but it’s not necessary in that amazing place, but for someone it’s maybe important

When a minor issue occurred in Room 7, I was promptly moved — special thanks to Mr. Abdel Rahim and the reception team for their swift and thoughtful response. A special mention goes to Miss Habiba — professional, confident, kind, and the ideal face to represent the hotel. Her presence elevated the entire experience from the very beginning. Mr. Mohamed on the night shift was equally impressive — attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. Checkout was seamless — no delays or inspections, just hand over the key and go. That level of trust truly makes you feel at home. Service and breakfast quality remain unmatched for the price — a rare gem among budget hotels. 1. Waitress Jomana demonstrated unprofessional behavior and would greatly benefit from proper training in guest etiquette and interaction. 2. The TV in the room was never repaired, despite clear assurances from the staff that it would be fixed. 3. There was no follow-up from the hotel after I reported the issues, which highlights a lack of attention to guest satisfaction.

- Ahmed (9/5): Superb - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room (Room 13) was excellent – very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Special thanks to the reception staff for their warm welcome, and to Ramadan and Nasser at the rooftop café – they were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable every morning. One small note: the TV in the room needs some maintenance, but it didn’t affect my overall great experience. This is definitely a budget-friendly hotel with high-quality service, and I’ll keep coming back every time I visit Cairo. Highly recommended! Tv some maintenance

Little disapointed in the guide they arranged for us through their travel business. After speaking to the manager I am sure no one else will have the same issues so not a problem really!

- John (3/5): I would find somewhere else, plenty of guesthouses in the area - The view from the rooftop is incredible and the location for the pyramids is great too. The rooms are fine for what you pay but aren't soundproofed so you can hear everything from the street but bring earplugs and you'll be fine. Before I start I know this is a 2* hotel and I'm paying £15 a night. But that doesn't mean you can begin hammering and drilling on the floor below your guests until 12am. Most guests are staying on the fourth floor and they are renovating the third floor right underneath us. We spoke to the builders and the reception staff and all we got was "sorry" and "give us 5 more minutes" which then lasted for another hour and a half. My other negative about staying here is the quality of the tours they offer. We booked a trip to the pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara through this hotel and paid $40 each. We were promised lunch and a visit to Dashur too which never happened. The guide was friendly but we were rushed around the pyramids, barely given any information, didn't visit the sphinx as we were told it was for tour buses only and our 8 hour tour ended after four hours as we chose not to do the papyrus factory or the perfume shops. Finally the breakfast was incredibly poor, but again, when paying £15 a night you don't expect much. I just want people to have all the information.

- Alzanghary (1/5): Bad - IIt has been a very bad stay. All facilities are not working, no wifi, no TV, no phone for room service. On Friday around 08:00 in the morning, they started with the maintenance and it was very noisy. We could not sleep well. Everything.

- Home-sick-steve (9/5): Superb - The room was a good size for myself, very clean with good WiFi and a TV. Large bathroom with large walk in shower. Breakfast was nice with a view of the pyramids (which were only a short walk away). There was a mix up when I arrived (it was quite late), so had to me moved to their second hotel a bit further from the pyramids. It actually worked out better for me though, as it was much quieter and only about a 10 minute walk to the pyramids.

Very poor facilities - folding flimsy door on toilet, giving limited privacy. Room not cleaned during our 3-day stay. WiFi dreadful. Checking-in process was inefficient. Lift music disturbed my sleep. Room not sound-proofed so bring earplugs!!

- Mahadev (6/5): Comfortable enough for a one nighter and great staff made a big difference. - The location and view from the terrace was great. The staff were so nice and polite and wanting to assist. Breakfast was just OK but not super. 1. Having to pay extra for early check in (which we decided to not do) and late check out (which we did pay as we had a late bus to catch). Given the next points it would have been nice to not have this imposed 2. We were at first shown a room that was NOT our supposed "Deluxe" upgrade... and it had NO windows .. but the size was very good. So when we waited instead of the early check in, for our DELUX room upgrade (as booked) ... it did have a window BUT the size was so small there was no room for anything. 3. The WIFI quality was terrible. Very slow and weak and cut out a lot.
