Guest Reviews
- Laura (8/5): - Good location with easy access to Tube and shops. Clean flat with nice sheets and towels. Elevator is a little temperamental
- Michelle (8/5): Fantastic✨🌟✨ - Location amazing so handy with lots of shops/restaurants etc all really close by. N/A
- Matt Pye (7/5): - Very close to Gloucester St tube. Very comfortable beds in a quiet location.
- Wendy (8/5): - The location was perfect for our needs on this trip The only downside was noisy seagulls
- kirsty (4/5): Different definitions of luxury. - The location was excellent. Close to the tube station and places to eat and drink. Flat was in poor repair. The bathrooms were dirty (the separate toilet smelt like wee) and the shower wasn't great.

- Stanley (5/5): Passable - Location Defently not a luxury flat...
Needs a lot of upgrading to be called that ..
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment ideally located for museums. Close to tube stations and lots of places to eat close by
- Groot (7/5): Brilliant location, nice atmosphere in the neighbourhood. - Perfect location, close to underground station and lots of restaurants and breakfast places. Pretty quiet at night, not the usual 60 sirens per hour. Nice living room, beds are decent. Apartment could use a deep clean, shower needs fixing.
- Edina (4/5): I expected much better - Location It was dirty, the flat was not cleaning, the used towels were left from previous tenant - I suppose.... The doors did not function on regular way... No any comfortable eating possibility (table) ...
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jeremy (5/5): Described as 'Luxury' but certainly not with cleanliness and old towels. - Excellent location, close to Tube station and shops. It was quite a challenge to collect the keys, firstly the Txt with code to give to shop assistant did not arrive until 1 hour before check-in. If we had no mobile phone this would be a problem. You then had to walk around the corner to a convenience store, give the code to a shop assistant who then gave you the key, walk back and enter the building. Very inconvenient especially with luggage. The flat itself did not match the photos on-line. The towels were old, cheap and horrible and left bits all over you after drying, Fresh towels would be good. The double bed mattress was the most uncomfortable ever slept in and did not have a mattress protector for extra hygiene. I slept on top of the quilt. The overall cleanliness of the flat was not what I would expect from a 'Luxury' flat in Kensington, the kitchen was dirty. The shower was old and ineffective, needs a new shower head for comfort. The lamp in the lounge was leaning considerable so did not use it due to safety. The entire flat was dusty, dirty floor.
- David (8/5): Perfect location, and ideal size for a small family. - Perfect location, excellent comms with host Clarity on exact address after getting the keys. Couldn’t find wifi info at the accommodation. In any case, everything sorted by the host within minutes.
- John (8/5): Very secure comfortable well equipped place with a concerned host - Great location
No breakfast Old fashioned shower very hard to use
Shortage of toiletries
Limited hanging space
- Georgios (8/5): Very good - Excellent location The floor and the dishes could have been more tidy
- Jane (10/5): Highly recommended for single or family travellers - Excellent location
Great communication with host
warm environment-feel like home
fantastic view of the gardens
- Heinz (3/5): Very disappointing. - Location Unclean, in particular in bathroom and around toilet as well as grill/oven in kitchen. Overall poorly maintained flat. No ceiling lights in lounge room and both bedrooms which was a bit odd. Tv had no channels to watch. Towels provided undersized and thin. Semi blocked sink in bathroom. Wobbly dining table, table mats we found on the floor under some curtains. No wardrobe space, flat was cluttered with unusable furniture, lift not working for 4 days. The owners response to my comments speaks for itself. Please see also similar comments from him to other peoples reviews.
- Lynne (9/5): Excellent location, good accommodation, and very homely. - The code and where the key nest was, was communicated well. Nothing
- Heinz (3/5): Very disappointing and overpriced - Location Flat is not "luxury". Is unclean. Had flimsy thin towels, smaller than standard size. Shower not working properly: water came out scalding hot and unable to regulate flow properly also. Sink in bathroom semi-blocked. Tv: not working, no free to air TV. Kitchen and bathroom both dirty, in particular around toilet. grill in kitchen unclean. No ceiling lights in lounge room and bedrooms which was a bit odd. Flat full of unusable furniture and cluttered throughout. Dining table was wobbly, bottles were left on the table. Place mats for dining table we found on the floor under some curtains. Jackets ? from owner behind entry door, so difficult to hang our jackets anywhere. No available ward robe space at all. Lift to flat which is on the third floor was not working for 4 days. Overpriced for what it was. I would not stay here again, but rather in a hotel where I know what I get. It felt like we were staying in someone's poorly maintained house.
- Dave (8/5): A superbly located quiet, warm, cosy flat, ideal for a stay in London. Cleanliness let it down a bit. - Superb location, very close to Gloucester Road Tube station.
Ideally situated for the museums (Natural History, V&A etc)
Nice architecture. Interesting building, great views from windows.
Very convenient for places to eat/drink, Waitrose (3 min) and Sainsburys (10 min) both were very good for general groceries if catering for yourselves (as we did).
The host was flexible and kindly agreed to an earlier check-in time when we asked.
Spacious apartment. Warm and cosy. Sofa and armchairs were very comfy.
Good value. Cleanliness could have been better. I know this can be very subjective but we were rather disappointed. For example, dishwasher was full of dirty stuff when we arrived. Dirty pan in oven. Bathroom sink plug hole was grim full of hair and gunk. Whole flat needed a good dust and hoover. Loo brush holder needs replacing. Shower head needs descaling to work well. Some minor maintenance needed - sink and bath seals in bathroom for example. Fan oven ok at 190 C but above this repeatedly tripped the circuit breaker.
Comms with host could have been more timely. We had to chase for any info about the actual address and how to access the property a couple of days beforehand and then chase for the code to obtain keys once we had actually arrived at Gloucester Road.
- Steven (6/5): Overpriced for what we received. - 2-Bdrm apt Had dust/dirt piled up in the corners, lights were extremely difficult to figure out, only the mattress sheet on the beds so we were forced to use the comforter, which wasn’t cleaned from previous guest, WiFi stopped working, TV didn’t work, and we didn’t get the detailed instructions until 6 hrs before we were supposed to check in…since we were traveling, we were stuck looking for the address on the confirmation email, which was not the address of the apt.
- Jane (10/5): Fantastic stay - Fantastic location, extremely helpful host, direct veow on the gardens and museums and attractions just a step away-if you find this place available don't look for anything else
- Jane (10/5): Amzing stay-highly recommended - Very well kept place with all amenities you may need
Extremely clean with comfy beds
The location is amazing as shops and tube are within 3 min distance I didn't have more time to stay longer
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Thank you for being so accommodating with us. - Amazing location and really accommodating host.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (4/5): Great location but this is not a 'luxury flat'. Several issues need resolving. - Great location. Several issues, including:-
The bathroom - dirty; stained bath; limescale; unable to control water temperature of fixed shower (scalding water).
No WiFi details in apartment.
TV not working.
Electrics need review.
- Kim (9/5): Superb - Beautiful flat in excellent location. Very short walk to Gloucester Road tube station and close to range of good eating places. George provided lots of helpful information.
