• Stefan (9/5): Prima plek buiten de hectiek! - Wat verder uit het centrum dan ik gedacht had, maar de metro (groene lijn, station Jolicoeur) is echt direct om de hoek. Deze brengt je direct naar het centrum (en naar de Botanische tuinen, station Pie IX) dus helemaal prima. Appartement is zeer ruim en rustig. De zitbank is een verademing na een dag lopen. Goede wifi, heerlijke douche (met 2 douchekoppen, heel bijzonder). Grootste pluspunt vond ik de moderne wasmachine en de droger plus toebehoren. Inclusief duidelijke uitleg. Binnen 2 uurtjes al je spulletjes weer fris en droog! Tip: Airportbus 747 naar/van metrostation Lionel-Groulx (óók aan de groene lijn) rijdt zonder stops en zeer frequent. De 747 vanuit het stadscentrum zou ik niet adviseren (er zijn er 2 dus). Koop een metro/bus 24-uurskaartje voor $11,25, die is ook geldig op de lijn naar de Airport. Totaal gebrek aan daglicht, je zit echt in de kelder. Ook overdag moet het licht aan. Maar overdag ben je meestal toch op pad. De “keuken” is volgens mij wel wat beters van te maken. Een mini koelkastje op een wiebelend rekje, een magnetronnetje, een kookplaatje. Ik vond het geen probleem maar ik waande me wat dat betreft een beetje op de camping. :)
