- Carolina (5/5): - Relativamente todo excepto el personal Nos hicieron pasar un mal momento por que al llegar al hotel dijeron que nos habían dado unas toallas lo cual no fue cierto revisaron cámaras y no nos dejaban salir del hotel , luego nos dicen que si dieron las toallas según las cámaras pero que no podían mostrar el video y nos condenaban la multa que podíamos salir , nos hicieron pasar pena con los demás huéspedes como si fueras robado las toallas , lástima que el vuelo nos iba dejar si no fuese llamado a la policía estaba en el derecho de ver el video 😒

The food quality was very poor. Ubers being too expensive to go out to eat so instead rented a car to be able to go eat. Hotel food was not enjoyable at all.

- Lisa (1/5): GR Solaris was disappointing. I paid extra for my extremely poor stay at an all inclusive resort. - The room was clean and I had a nice view from my room. The water in our room was cold the first 2 days and it was cool outside as well. I couldn't get warmed up. Took several hours to have a blanket brought up. Hot tub was cold so we couldn't even warm up that way. Our whole party is gluten free and hotel was notified of this. It was difficult to get food that was GF for our health, Gluten free desserts were impossible to have. I was glutened while I was there. Much of the food was tasteless except for the one night at the Mexican place. It was closed the next night and then we left the following day. Most of the food that we could eat was overcooked vegetables. Some of the same fruit and cheese was on the buffet for several days in a row getting dried out. Ugh! The staff had not idea apparently how to offer gluten free food. The language barrier may have made that more difficult. However, we had previously stayed at the Royal Solaris for an excellent stay and meals. The GR Solaris stay was extremely disappointing! I paid extra for my stay at an all inclusive resort and was extremely disappointed! Not a good value at all!

- Helen (5/5): Beach full of seaweed and no service or drinks at beach, construction on site across property, loud and unappealing, jac - I experienced the best buffet food and shows at the GR property. I felt the best pool and Jacuzzi experience was at Caribe. Royal Solaris placed third in my list when it came to food and pools. I had a frustrating experience with Jacuzzi since they abruptly closed it for "improvements" without a timeline. Our reservation also requested our two rooms on same floor but they failed to respect that upon our arrival. The front desk customer service provided by Samuel and Nina was terribly disappointing. Ocean front chairs and umbrellas are available but the properties don't clean the seaweed or offer any food/drink service, thus that area feels neglected. Due to the lack of receptive customer service, ocean side service, and transparent availability of amenities, we can't recommend these resorts and don't plan on returning in the future. I had a few frustrating experiences. Construction directly across the pool on the other property was unappealing and loud. Jacuzzi was abruptly closed for "improvements" without a timeline. - Lisa (7/5): - I liked staying at a smaller size resort and the beach was beautiful. The staff was excellent, especially the woman who sat the buffet tables and all the waiters. Making dinner reservations was a headache. We only had 3 per week, which if I had known ahead of time, I would not have booked this resort. 1 of 3 restaurants were closed multiple nights during our stay so our reservation was then changed last minute. The pool deck was very slippery and we were traveling with older people who slipped & ended up getting hurt.

One other staff (wears glasses) who eventually corrected the room selections for family was very nice… (Adrian maybe?) Check in experience in particular one individual who treated us very badly and hostile, charged us extra for one of 2 children who was mistakenly listed as infant by booking.com, he/she (not sure which it was) kept the whole family waiting until we paid the extras…to get the wristbands to be able to go and eat… while we were tired and hungry from travel.

Muy malas condiciones higiénico/sanitarias.
El hotel a pesar de decir que es All Inclusive no ofrece en las habitaciones agua para beber cerrada y embotellada de una marca reconocida. Como alternativa ofrece en cada pasillo un dispensador de agua que no brinda condiciones aceptables para ser un agua potable. Suministrar a los huéspedes agua segura para beber es una condición " sine qua non" para realizar una reserva. Por la falta de agua segura para beber no reservaré nunca más en el hotel.
Baño y ducha.
La presión de agua en la ducha era extremadamente baja, dificultando una normal higiene.
Nunca conseguí tener agua caliente, a lo sumo fue tibia.
La pileta para lavarse las manos se tapó y tuve que llamar para que la destaparan.
El Inodoro ( WC) se tapó y el agua comenzó a salir. Primero inundó el baño y luego el agua pasó a la habitación. Tuve que llamar para que desatascaran el WC y secaran el baño y la habitación. El problema es totalmente inaceptable.
Aislación acústica. En mi habitación no había la más mínima y aceptable aislación acústica con respecto a las otras habitaciones. Pude escuchar durante toda mi estadía todos las conversaciones y ruidos de la otra habitación. En especial y que es muy molesto son los "ruidos nocturnos."
Por la falta de una mínima y aceptable aislación acústica no reservaré nunca más en ese hotel.
Discriminación.
El hotel promueve la Discriminación entre los huéspedes. Están los huéspedes llamados Members ( clientes de primera) que tienen privilegios especiales frente a los huéspedes que reservaron a través de Plataformas de Viaje y que pagaron el precio requerido.
Los "Members" tienen toallas especiales, shows especiales a los cuales solamente pueden acceder los Members, bar especial, lugar de desayuno con manteles blancos y copas especiales, además de un trato de preferencia.

La comida fue muy repetitiva y promedio en comparación a otros “all inclusive” hoteles. La verdad vaa ser la última vez que me hospedo con un plan todo incluido ya que igual tuve que salir a cenar a otros lugares para tener una mejor experiencia con la comida. Solo nos dieron dos reservas para los restaurantes tematicos y no las usé ya que mejor salí a comer a otro lugar. Tal vez con niños convenga ese plan pero en pareja no nos gustó, la única bebida rica fue el café flameado, pero el resto nada impresionante. El personal muy amable, volvería a este hotel pero no con un todo incluido, la comoda fue repetitiva y sin sabor, asi como las bebidas.
- Mariano (9/5): Memorable! - Que siendo celíaco, ante cada pedido que realicé a la Capitana o encargado, gestionaron rápidamente un postre sin gluten. Luego de 2 ó 3 veces de ir al comedor, decidí llevar mi botella de agua. Seguramente la demora de los mozos en traerme agua o café se debe a la gran cantidad de turistas; pero es un punto a revisar para que tenga todo el mismo (buen nivel). Luego de pedir agua, pasaban varios minutos hasta recibirlo, incluso uno termina su comida. Pero solo eso.

The restaurants were pretty good besides the buffet one Having a "Smart TV" in the bedroom despite there being nothing smart about it, no streaming services installed or able to be installed either.
The buffet was pretty sub par for food options compared to most buffets I've been to.
The water pressure in the shower may as well not even exist.
Air conditioning was also inconsistently working, which wasn't ideal either.

We also liked that they made accommodations for our big group at the buffets. The shows and singers/dj were entertaining. It was hard to get a reservation for the restaurants. We used the apps like we were instructed but every day we tried they were unavailable so we didn’t get to try them. Also, the elevators would close too quickly. We were traveling with our elderly parents and it was a challenge for them to catch the doors. I would also suggest having a service to give guests a ride up the ramp in the front of the hotel. When we would return from being out, that was also a challenge to climb up.

My stated preference during booking was not fulfilled, and they did not want to accommodate. Some restaurant staff did not provide quality customer service. The resort did not provide ocean side service and neglected clean-up. A lot of construction noise with eye sores.

- HIROSHI (9/5): 満足です。ほかの人にお勧めします - 5泊しました。朝食、ランチともにCafe Solarisでしたが、メキシコ、中華料理など種類も多く飽きません。夜は、イタリアンのマルコポーロとメキシコ料理のDON GUSでコースを食べました。両方とも前菜、スープ、メイン、デザートが選べます。ドリンクも飲み放題です。とてもおいしく、サービスも満足です。オリエンタル料理のZAIは食べてません。部屋はオーシャンビューではありませんが、少しだけ海が見える部屋でした。清潔です。シャワーは手で持つタイプです。使い勝手が良かったです。ミネラルウォーターは、初日だけペットボトル支給です。その後は自分でエレベーター横の浄水器から容器に入れて部屋に持ち運びます。冷蔵庫の中にはビールと炭酸ジュースが入っていて自由に飲めます。チャージはありませんでした。プールは3つありましたが、一つは工事が始まって使えませんでした。プールサイドバーは11時オープンでアルコール提供がありました。かなり種類が豊富です。バスタオルがカード交換式で提供されます。チェックアウト後、紙がもらえます。これで迎えのバスが来るまでドリンクを飲めます。 レストランの予約はアプリを使用します。チェックインしたその日は、アプリに入れませんでした。翌日からの予約となりました。また、レストランの予約は翌日、翌々日の予約が可能な時間帯がありました。小まめに確認すると、予約がスムーズです。アプリは改善してください。さらに満足度があがると思います

The poolside service exceeded my expectations and the price was super affordable. I will definitely be back. just a small detail the air conditioning turns on automatically with a loud noise.

Check in was fast, easy and friendly, every interaction with the team was warm and professional. The room was spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept so well during my stay. The hotel facilities were excellent the pool area, pizza, entertainment guys were great at the games. The breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with plenty of options. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will happily return on my next trip. - Jimena (1/5): Pesimo servicio - Es realmente pesimo, es un hotel pequeño para la cantidad de huespedes las piletas están llenas sin sombrilla, la zona de la playa es terrible y la comida de los bufet una desgracia solo es bueno el bar de cafe.
Nos cobraron cargos extras por una tasa de limpieza que jamas nos avisaron.
Un día se quedo sin agua, las bebidas alcoholicas lo peor que puedas imaginar de muy baja calidad y solo brindan entretenimiento para niños de 5 años. No tiene bar de playa, poco personal, las intalaciones son chicas. La atención del personal es terrible solo son amables si le das propina.

- miha mramor (7/5): - We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a decent choice, though it shows some signs of aging. The property is making a clear effort to keep up with modern standards, which is commendable. The staff is notably friendly, with a special mention to the lovely lady at the beach who also cares for the turtles and their eggs—a truly heartwarming dedication. The world needs more people like her.
However, the hotel’s sound insulation is a significant drawback. Noise from neighboring room was clearly audible, and this became particularly bothersome with loud and inconsiderate neighbor. We had to call the front desk every night—once around 11 PM and even at 4 AM—to address the disturbances. While the staff managed to quiet things down after about an hour, the process was frustrating. Daytime noise, like loud shouting, was less of an issue, especially since our children were often at the pool:) Unfortunately, despite our complaints and requests for a room change, the reception was unable to relocate us, which was disappointing.
Overall, the hotel has its charms and a caring staff, but improvements in soundproofing and responsiveness to guest concerns would greatly enhance the experience.

Apenas llegamos y hasta último momento mala predisposición. Nadie nunca te orientará.
No nos dieron tarjetas para toallas, cuando las conseguimos supimos que la toalla de piscina/playa era un bien escaso.
Reservamos restaurante y no me dejaron cenar por concurrir con sandalias de vestir de cuero por tener tres dedos a la vista.
En el desayuno del ALL INCLUSIVE no existe la MERMELADA y las infusiones SE SUPLICAN A LOS MOZOS!!
Nunca prepararon un trago de calidad, el alcohol es de mala calidad.

- Jill (9/5): Wonderful vacation - The property is situated in a very nice location. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities were very clean. I will definitely visit again. If guest were not a member of the hotel you were not allowed to even purchase premium alcoholic beverages and non members were limited with the food menu. I was not aware of the membership when I booked the reservation.

- Torribio (10/5): I would like to stay here again. - The buffet at Cafe Solaris had a wide variety of food which made it possible to have any breakfast from a light fruit plate to a full plate with cooked to order eggs, meat and accompaniments. The Deli was a great choice for a late continental breakfast. Overall, food service set a high level and the many options were great as we were traveling with a child and teenager. The beach and pool facilities were lavish and everything was well maintained and clean. The entertainments were a pleasant surprise as we didn't plan our stay with them in mind. We enjoyed Carina Mexico Show, a very original and sophisticated music/ dance program. Also a Mariachi show in the lobby bar with a large and enthusiastic audience. I honestly can't think of anything. The staff was consistently professional and helpful.

- Inka-Sofia (6/5): - Siisti huone ja ravintoloissa ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellin tilat yleisilmeltään siistit. Altaalla rantatuolit linnun ulosteessa eikä niitä ollut mikään kiire siivota, vaikka tätä pyydettiin. Lisäksi aurinkovarjoja ei saanut pitää auki tuulen vuoksi, vaikka kolme päivää hotellissamme oltuamme huomasimme, että tämä yhden päivän aikana ollut ''tuuli'' ei ollut sen suurempaa kuin muinakaan päivinä. Buffetin ruoka oli keskinkertaista, mutta suunnattu selvästi jenkkituristeille -sokerimuroja, hampurilaisia ja hodareita sekä pastaa. Marco Polo ravintolan taso huono ja palvelu tuntui kiireiseltä. Meillä oli varaus 21.10, mutta samaan aikaan tarjoilijat jo siivosivat viereisten pöytien kattauksia pois.

Reception staff were not overly helpful, I was not told to return my wristband at checkout but was made retrieve it at 3am before an early flight. Airport transfer options given by the hotel are unexplainably expensive - take an uber instead

Dinner at Marco Polo is delicious!
Shows at night are incredible. Cocktails are terrible, made with syrup and simple sugar. Impossible to drink more than 2 cocktails a day.
The food at ZAI and the buffet is only good, far away of being delicious as at Marco Polo.
In the room’s frigobar, there were only 3 cans of soda per day, and they were not the best brand such as Canada Dry.

Hemos reservado una habitación doble para dos personas con todo incluido y el precio de la habitación, en el momento de la llegada nos cuesta una hora, diciendo que una habitación solo incluye a una persona.

- Julielen (7/5): Faltou um atendimento melhor para atender a expectativa - Os quartos são conjugados e extremamente barulhentos. Ficamos 7 noites e em 4 delas não não possível dormir direito , quando reclamei do barulho do quarto ao lado , falavam que iam ajudar e não faziam nada , eu mesma tive que intervir para os vizinhos pararem de gritar.
Recepção sempre cheia e recepcionistas na grande parte rudes , sem a menor vontade de ajudar , curtos e grossos.
Pedi uma fruta para minha filha porque íamos fazer um passeio muito cedo e a resposta foi - e o que tem aí. Sendo que em 10 minutos abriria o restaurante com diversas frutas disponíveis.
Falta muita cordialidade.
Quando fui perguntei se era necessário o uso da pulseira para a criança não pagante , o recepcionista , um rapaz , foi irônico conosco.
Sinceramente , nunca fui tratada assim em nenhum hotel.
Sem contar a agência: não fechem passeio lá.
Eu fechei 3 passeios , todos pagos à vista o Senhor Roger, no fechamento ele foi totalmente simpático.
Em um dos passeios ao XCaret minha filha acabou com uma virose e logo quando chegamos ela vomitava sem parar , fomos atendidos no parque na enfermaria e retornamos por conta própria ao hotel pra cuidar dela , voltaríamos ao Brasil no dia seguinte. O parque me informou que cancelou os ingressos e quando fui a agência simplesmente me ignoraram , solicitei um reembolso parcial que é de direito e eles , mais uma vez , com um ar irônico e desrespeitoso a situação não cederam , quiseram dar um certificado de 1 ano .
A equipe que se salva desse atendimento medíocre é a do restaurante Café Solaris , todos os garçons muito atenciosos e gentis. A gerente a noite , quando minha filha estava com virose ajudou preparando um ovo frito que era a única coisa que ela queira comer.

El hotel señala que después del check out uno puede disfrutar de las instalaciones (nosotros teníamos vuelo en la noche). Esto no es así, ya que desde la recepción nos dijeron que debíamos abandonar las instalaciones. Al parecer, depende del criterio de la persona que está en recepción. Ojo ahí.
- Anita (8/5): Relaxing vacation - Clean, beautiful, nice, friendly, helpful staff. Variety of activities going on at the hotel. Although even though we were given a sheet listing things that were going on, we didn't really understand it. Wish staff would of directed us towards the area's as we walked through. Example: We were at the bar, walked out to have a cigarette (yes, there's places to smoke out front and by the upper deck of the pool area) we came back in about 9pm and the place had emptied out. No one said there was a show going on. So we didn't realize that for the first couple days that there's a show at 9pm. Drinks were good. Food in the buffet was ok. The breakfasts were wonderful. The beach and pool area were wonderful. We were always able to find spots to sit and lounge chairs. Bring your suntan lotion!! You can take the bus for $1 US that brings you downtown (about 15-20 minute ride). Super easy, there's a bus stop right by the hotel. Super steep entry into the hotel so you get a work out walking up. We did see they have a button to press if you need a golf cart to bring you up. 😉 Room was nice, beds comfortable. They refilled the mini fridge (beer, pop and water). Hard to get into the restaurants that you make the reservations for but we did get a reservation at Marco Polo and it was delicious! We commend the staff for their excellent service, smiles and hellos.

- Laura (8/5): Was good but i don’t comeback - El hotel todo bien, la comida deliciosa y el lugar es un paraíso, solo tengo una queja en cuanto a la transportación del aeropuerto al hotel y del hotel al aeropuerto nunca me contestaron los telefonos y solo me transferian a la contestadora, y el personal en la recepción nada empaticos, y mala actitud.
- Victor (9/5): The place is great with some fine tunning needed. - Likes: the property, location, the staff, the shows, the food.
Dislikes: 1) it takes forever to check in. There are multiple forms that need to be filled out to complete the check in process. 2) to make a reservation at one of the restaurants (I.e., ZAI, Marco Polo) you need to download an app, and once the app is ready on your phone, you need to enter your passport number. On the positive side, you can walk to the restaurant when it opens and put your name on the waiting list. 3) Once checked in, the front desk person refers you to the concierges for any information about the hotel. Once you go to ask the concierges about where in the hotel a facility is or what time it opens, or how to access it, your question is dismissed and instead, they try to sell you tour packages.

- Jeanne (8/5): - The solaris cafe buffet was very good with a lot of options. We had an ocean front view which was amazing. We really enjoyed the magician show. The beach was fantastic. We had problems with our original reservation.
