• Cecilia (8/5): Goede verbinding per tram naar het centrum. - Als ik nog iets nodig had of miste in het appartement werd dit snel opgepakt en opgelost door de eigenaar. Vanwege bouwwerkzaamheden in de straat was er al vroeg in de ochtend veel lawaai.

Slow communication with host + keep in mind that u don’t talk too “loud” or watch movies too “loud” in the evening because the neighbor was knocking on the wall multiple times

• Jan (8/5): Een comfortabel appartement met een uitstekende locatie. - Een comfortabel appartement, vooral, met een uitstekende locatie voor het centrum van Basel, dicht bij openbaar vervoer. Het aanbod van een parkeerkaart, in combinatie met de verplichte openbaar vervoerpas voor de duur van ons verblijf, maakte dat we de auto niet hoefden te gebruiken. De keuken is goed voorzien van keukengerei, en zowel koelkast als vaatwasser zijn ruim bemeten. Wifi is OK. De badkamer is klein, en noch douchen in het bad noch een bad nemen bleek praktisch. Er is de vraag of enkel een folie, om het glas van het badkamerraam ondoorzichtig te maken, ook schaduwspel op die folie voor de overburen verhindert. Het gebouw is wat gehorig, maar dat stoorde niet echt. Groter probleem was dat de inkomdeur van het appartement zelf door een kapot mechanisme nièt van binnenuit op slot kon gedraaid worden (wel bij het verlaten van het appartement) .

• Gala (9/5): Ein kurzer, aber sensationeller Aufenthalt - Es war einfach wunderschön, in der Wohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung sah auf den Fotos sehr schön aus und in Wirklichkeit war sie genauso. Die Kommunikation per Chat mit den Verwaltern funktionierte perfekt (englisch, deutsch). Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, sogar ein Föhn im Badezimmer. Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Wohnung war schön warm (Reise im Winter). Die Umgebung ist recht ruhig. Man hört keine Geräusche von der Straße, da die Fenster gut isoliert sind. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen. Ein paar Details in der Küche könnten verbessert werden, wie z. B. die Möglichkeit, eine italienische Kaffeemaschine und einen Behälter zum Erhitzen von Milch zu haben.

• Barbara (10/5): I will be coming back for sure! - It is clearly marked, close to the bus and tram stop, Lidl just around the corner. Apartments are spacious, clean, well maintained and comfortable. And what is more important - the owner is a gem ❤️ Also - the whole stay is fully automated, from check-in to check-out. Please note there is no elevator :) This is not an issue but rather one thing to keep in mind if you pack heavy bags.

• Raelene (9/5): Comfortable, central apparrment - Lovely appartment. Nice layout, tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable, well equipped. Central location right next to supermarket and tram stop into the city. Responsive host, great information about check in/out. Early bag drop readily arranged. Small suggestions for improvement: 1. The main entrance door was often unlocked. This made access convenient for us, but also for potential non-guests, which may pose security concerns. 2. There is no extraction fan in the bathroom. Adding one would reduce condensation from the shower, and toilet odour. 3. The stair well could do with an upgrade, e.g new carpet and soundproofing (?). The stairs are creaky and hard. We were woken very early by someone going down the stairs and probably woke others when we returned late. Despite creeping, it was impossible to ascend the stairs quietly.

• Samantha (8/5): Perfect location; a few challenges as travellers not familiar with Basel - The location was perfect: Easy walking distance to a tram station, grocery shop, laundromat and the magnificent Basel Zoo. The apartment was cosy and it was nice to have a bath instead of a shower :). The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful at night. Very comfortable bed! We did not realise parking was so difficult to find in Basel - it is recommended you contact the owner beforehand to make arrangements if arriving by car. The building is old and quirky (which we liked) but this does mean hauling luggage up flights of stairs. The kitchen was lovely but could do with a microwave for quick heating of food.

• Thorsten (8/5): Ich würde dies ändern! - Das TV Gerät ist nicht für den Normalgebrauch zu nutzen! Man konnte keine normalen Sender empfangen! Nur mit Netflix-Abo und dergleichen. Das hat uns sehr gestört. Es muss doch möglich sein, in einer Ferienwohnung normal Fernseh zu schauen mit ein paar gängigen Sendern. Das wäre ein Grund, für mich nicht mehr dahin zu gehen

• szumi5 (9/5): - Ładny wystrój. Świetnie rozwiązanie z zamykaniem i otwieraniem drzwi kodem. Mniej problemów 😉 z kluczami i dostępem. Dobre miejsce komunikacyjne, sklep i tramwaj pod ręką. Jeśli szukasz kompletnej ciszy to niestety nie tutaj, bliskość ulicy i konstrukcja budynku tego nie zapewnia. 🙃

• kerstin (10/5): Schöne ruhige Wohnung mit guter Verkehrsanbindung - Die Wohnung hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung, mit der Tram ist man im schnell am Bahnhof SBB, bzw. der Altstadt Basel,, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich "fast vor der Haustür". WLAN funktioniert gut, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und vor allem ist die Wohnung sauber, hell und gemütlich. Wir sind spät angereist, hier war der Self-checkin sehr praktisch. Und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer hat bestens funktioniert.

• Wini (9/5): Nice appartement - We enjoyed the 1 bedroom apartment. It is an old house with modern furnished apartments. Everything you need is available. The bed is firm but not too hard, but low to the ground. We could use a parking space nearby. The bus 36 and tram connection 2 are very practical, which are a few minutes' walk away, free use with the Basel card that you receive when booking the apartment. Supermarket, coffee bar are over the door. All agreements were properly fulfilled, highly recommended
• Paul (10/5): Fantastic apartment in a great location with a very helpful host. - This well equipped apartment was less than 20 minutes from Basel airport and a 2 minute walk from the nearest tram stop. The apartment was spotlessly clean and would definitely book again if we were to return to the region. Luzian was always available to message and even dropped a phone adapter off as our UK plug adapter did not fit the recessed 2 pin type.

Spacious kitchen, with a dishwasher, large fridge and even a washing machine. Coffee machine and coffee available. Smart system to access the apartment. Parking available, free of charge. We regularly stay in Basel, and this is one of the best places we found. Few things I am used to find in other apartments, but really just minor items to make the experience even better. - A second key (as a family we don't always leave and come back together) - The kitchen could have some more tools, but fully sufficient to cook a normal meal - Ironing board
• Marie0812 (9/5): Very convenient location, very nice apartment. - The apartment was close to a tram stop, with only 4 stops to SBB. There was a Lidl nearby, which made home cooking easy - especially with the condiments provided by the owner. The apartment was pleasantly furnished, very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Thanks to the people in the Sewing Shop on the ground floor who pointed us in the right direction, we found the entrance door round the back and gained access with the very clear instructions provided. The locking system on the apartment door appeared very complicated to me, but my son-in-law mastered it very well. Despite having to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs, we are happy we chose this apartment.

• Hyunho (10/5): Exceptional - Overall, i am very satisfied with the stay! I stayed a one bedroom apartment for four days to attend a confrence at the messe congress. The apartment is recently renovated and spoltless clean. I loved home design and interior of the rooms. You can reach to both Basel SBB HB and the messe with tram line 2. There are a supermaket and a tram stop within approx. 100 meters in front of the apartment. To be honest, i was little bit worried about the apartment because i hadly find reviews for that, but i realized that this was because the host just started the businees. I could not find anything to complain. If you are looking for an apartment stay at the Basel, I strongly recommend this option.

Particularly impressed by all the amenities included to cook a meal, plus some basic ingredients. Loved the coffee machine too. The kitchen was stocked with fresh cleaning items and a tea towel which is a very helpful touch. The property was clean and tastefully decorated, and we received excellent, timely assistance from the host when needed. The location was also great, especially since the tram stop was 2 minutes away (maybe 10 minutes from the main train station) and there was a Lidl grocery shop opposite. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. I stayed with my partner while visiting Basel for a conference and would highly recommend this host for the location, the communication and the very high quality of the stay.
