• Maria Agustina (10/5): Buena relacion precio-calidad! - Baños completos con shampoo, acondicionador y gel de ducha y cocina completa para cocinar tranquila. La habitación era espaciosa y de noche cuando hace frio se calienta por un sistema automatizado. La ubicación es excelente, cerca del metro lineal Bakerloo que se conecta con otras. Usando google maps llegas a todas partes. El barrio es hermoso. Los propietarios nos dieron la llave y nos dejaron ser libremente. Esta muy cerca caminando de Abbey Road! Recomiendo el hospedaje. Precio-calidad bien. No hay TV para ver YouTube pero con todo lo que uno camina no es necesario. Me hubiese gustado una cama con un acolchado mas grande (somos altos y costaba jaja)

Sadly the room did not meet my expectation with an unpleasant smell, uncomfortable bed and the sheets didn't feel fresh. To be fair to the host, I have not seen this mentioned by any other review so perhaps a condition left by the previous guest.

• Christian (8/5): “The Bear Necessities” in a clean and cozy space - This is not a luxurious stay, but from the moment you’re let in, you can feel that you’re being cared for. Everything is pristinely clean, aside from certain permanent stains on the ceiling. Still, it never felt unsanitary. The host provided extensive detail of how to get in using the lockbox and was very quick with responses to my inquiries. The neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly, with good options for brunch and coffee. If that’s not your thing, free tea is offered in the shared kitchen space. Just the outside seemed a bit dirty, wasn’t a fan of the mattresses leaning against the entrance. Other than that, all good!

• Azizakhon (1/5): - First of all, I would like to express my disappointment, angriness, filled with a whole unpleasant experience. When I came to the UK, I expected to have a great time from the beginning, which started only a day after I moved from there (only one day, thankfully). When I came to the location which was given on booking.com and called the owner, he told me that my room was not ready. For the clear information: the check in is at 2pm, and I called him at 8pm. He explained the situation and stated that there was a misunderstanding and they haven’t cleaned the room, which was a mess when I came in (the bed was not prepared, yet overall it wasn’t a worst case scenario, which is why I agreed to stay there with a partial refund). It was a self check in, so he sent me videos via Whatsapp (how to get the location etc), and explained me where to get pillowcase sheet, duvet cover, which were in the laundry!!! I had no energy to find another place and could not be sure if he will refund a full amount of my payment. He convinced me saying that no one wants to cancel the booking and it would be better for me as well since it was late (5-6pm is already dark outside). I said that it was not right to do so since I booked a place and it should have been cleaned and prepared already and got the answers which were not appropriate “As I told already, … Wifi code is sent on the video, watch it.. etc”. Not only was not the room ready, he was also rude. After a couple of days, I sent him a message on whatsapp asking for refund, the amount of which I still did not know and still have not had a chance to get to know since I have not received any refund!! I demand to refund the full amount of my payment which is 49£. I will look forward to your reply. Thank you.

• Anita (4/5): Super séjour mais hébergement impossible malgré la situation géographique parfaite. - Première impression en arrivant : chambre n°1 bien, et propre. Super emplacement pour visiter Londres. Station métro Maida Vale Ligne Bakerloo à 3mn très pratique. Super accès très mignon par la route principale. En face du logement une épicerie ce qui permet de prendre un petit déjeuner frais tous les matins soit en chambre soit directement à l'épicerie. J'ai beaucoup apprécié. Quartier propre. L'armoire dans le chambre n°1 à faillie tomber en morceau car pas solidariser à avec le mur donc pas utilisé. POINT REDIBITOIRE ET TRÈS MAUVAIS POUR LE PROPRIÉTAIRE . Sous la chambre n°1 il y a le restaurant Perse "LE CHELO" celui-ci à fait de la musique très très fort tous les soir et surtout toute la nuit de dimanche le 8 au lundi le 9 mars 2026. Je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit. C'était insupportable. J'en ai fait part à notre hôte. Mais il ne peut rien y faire soi disant..... Je vous joint des photos de l'échange avec notre hôte. La cour est vraiment très sale et pas entretenu. Dommage car cela terni l'image des chambres et le bâtiment est mal entretenu également.
• Shirley (4/5): - L’emplacement était vraiment pratique, proche d’un métro. Les chambres sont sécurisées. Arrivés dans un dépotoir au niveau de l’entrée. Les parties communes n’étaient pas propres, un mélange entre le non respect des autres occupants et également un manque d’acidité du ménage. Des poiles sous le matelas, et la chambre s’entait mauvais à notre arrivée. Rien pour accrocher les serviettes dans la chambre, peu d’équipement.

• Ben Magee (7/5): Cheap alternative if you need one night to stay in the area - Bit grotty on the outside and lot of work being done to the interior. I only stayed one night, and wouldnt have loved to stay more. it was fine for the price. Strange check-in procedure - I arrived an hour after check-in and the room wasn't ready for another hour after that. Staff seemed surprised I was there.

• sara (8/5): - My stay in this room was absolutely up to my expectations. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious, which made the stay really pleasant. What stood out the most was the cleanliness everything was spotless. The accommodation was also well heated, which was a big plus. On top of that, the host kindly provides free products in the kitchen, which made the stay even more convenient and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

• Edanur (9/5): Perfect Budget Choice, Would Book Again - It’s located very near the metro, which made getting around extremely easy. The room was tidy and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was practically ours since we didn’t see any other guests. We only stayed there to sleep after long days out, and it fully met our expectations. Great value overall. The only downside was the strong smell of spices in the entrance, which seemed to be there every day, probably coming from a nearby restaurant. Luckily, it didn’t reach the room at all. The entrance looked a bit old and slightly creepy, but we never had any safety concerns. Also, there was no iron available.

• Luna (10/5): Heel netjes en fijn verblijf! - We hadden echt een TOP verblijf in The Private Rooms in Paddington. Heel rustig en proper. Ideaal om even te ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad. De host was ook erg vriendelijk en steeds bereikbaar. Prijs-kwaliteit was dit verblijf echt fantastisch! /

• David (8/5): BBB - Siendo compartido, en el primer piso solo hay una habitacion (la nuestra) y un baño + un retrete aparte. Por lo que fue comodo y no hubo problemas de espera para usarlo, ademas que estaban muy limpios. No me gusto el sistema de apertura de la puerta, era con codigo y al entrar la puerta estaba abierta por lo que todo el mundo puede conocer el codigo si se mete porque esta en un papel. Prefiero tener una llave, me parece mas seguro (aunque no paso nada durante nuestra estancia).

Juste en arrivant dans l’allée on dirait que c’est abandonné. J’ai passé la pire nuit de ma vie. Je ne recommande absolument pas !!

We did have an issue with the heater, the person in charge did everything to help us and fix the problem keeps asking to make sure it is fixed, clean, the internet is very good and everything as advertised, the room is good but nothing more, it's a 2 stars accommodation in 5 stars location, very safe quite gives you the feeling living in an like English environment over all I liked it 3 days was good, what I didn't like, the bed the entrance. Budget wise location safety a thumb up The bed, the entrance, the room got minimal stuff

• Sabrina (2/5): Viel zo tegen, dat ik een hotel heb geboekt en ben weggegaan - Ligging was prima. Voelde niet veilig, de deur ging met code op slot die in de kamer hing. Toen ik aankwam was de deur gewoon open en had iedereen dus die code kunnen zien als ze even naar binnen waren gelopen. Badkamer was gedeeld en vies. Op de kamer was alleen een bed en een stoel en was het erg warm. Het voelde in geheel meer als een studentenhuis. Toen ik de locatie vertelde dat ik was weggegaan werd ik helemaal niet netjes te woord gestaan. Er werd gezegd dat het allemaal aan mij lag, dat ik te vroeg was aangekomen en dat ik de enige was die me daar onprettig voelde. Niet echt klantvriendelijk dus.

• Rudolf (5/5): - Die Lage war gut Der Eingang im Hinterhof war sehr herunter gekommen. Der Mülleimer in der Küche wurde eine Woche lang nicht geleert. Es wurde nicht jeden Tag gereinigt obwohl Küche, Bad und Toilette für 4 Zimmer gemeinsam war.

The staff are really kind and helpful — always ready to assist you anytime. He cleans the shared areas every day, including the bathrooms, kitchen, and hallways. The location is also great — it’s in a very safe neighborhood, and Maida Vale station is quite close to the accommodation. I really enjoyed my stay here! :)

• Mathieu (9/5): Très belle expérience - Le logement se trouve dans un quartier calme à proximité de la ligne de métro "Bakerloo", qui permet d'accéder rapidement au centre de Londres. De plus, il est relativement proche de zones plus naturelles telles que Hyde Park, Regent's Park, Regent's Canal et Grand Union Canal. Le logement est très propre. La cuisine, spacieuse et très bien équipée, permet de préparer ses repas et d'y manger. Deux salles de bain et 3 WC sont à partager entre les occupants des 4 chambres louées. Le propriétaire est très réactif. Les échanges, qui s'effectuent majoritairement par WhatsApp fonctionnent bien. Une supérette se situe juste juste en face du logement. Un supermarché ALDI se trouve à 1,5 km du logement. Le WIFI, gratuit, fonctionne bien. L'entrée du logement peut être difficile à trouver la 1ère fois car elle se situe dans une petite impasse, accessible uniquement à pied à partir de Castellain Road. Mon interlocuteur m'a transmis la photo de l'entrée par WhatsApp et j'ai pu trouver facilement. L'accès aux chambres s'effectue par un système de code, qu'il importe de bien retenir, car une fois la porte fermée, il n'est plus possible d'accéder à la chambre d'une autre manière.

• mark (8/5): good location to explore london with all facilities required - location and access to kitchen and facilities. our room was a very good size although very noisy from street level. neighbourhood was safe and 8 minute walk to maida vle station. bed seemed even smaller than a double.

• Aleksandra (8/5): Git - Pokój był czysty. Dzięki temu ze nie wychodził na ulicę bylo bardzo cicho. Pokój byl przestronny, łóżko wygodne. Przed budynkiem bylo dosyć brudno, na początku nie bylam nawet pewna czy to faktyczny nocleg. Jakiś stary materac i inne dziwne śmieci.
• Hinako (6/5): 荷物が少なくシンプルな滞在の方におすすめです。 - 最低限必要なものは揃っています。エキストラ毛布のお陰で夜も寒くありませんでした。イギリスにしては珍しいくらいシャワーの水圧が高くて、その部分はとてもよかったです。一番嬉しかったのは窓が開いて換気ができること。絨毯の床はどうしても埃っぽくなるので、朝晩空気の入れ替えができて気持ちよかったです。共用キッチンがあるので、冷蔵庫に食材を保存できたり、自炊も可能です。 入口が分かりにくいというクチコミ通り、少し分かりにくかったです。チェックインは全て動画が送られてくるのですが、私の時は電話をするまで動画が来ていなかったので更に時間がかかりました（でもレスポンス自体はとても早いです！）。Maida Vale駅から歩いて行ける距離ですが、駅にはリフトがありません。また、施設内も全て階段（狭め） なので、大きいスーツケースの人は移動が結構きついと感じました。パディントン駅までのアクセスの良さを考えてこちらを選びましたが、結局帰りはウーバーを頼んでパディントン駅まで行きました。施設内は基本的に清潔ですが、2つあるうち1つのバスルームの匂いがどうしても気になり、もう1つの方を使っていました。

• Mariia (6/5): Загалом непогано але є нюанси. - Затишно, персонал привітний дружелюбний видно що старається. Дякую Рекомендують при вході знімати взуття але не пропонують тапочки і я не зустріла інформації що потрібно мати з собою змінне взуття. На кухні підлога липка якщо ходити в тапочках.
