• Kay (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at Elegance in Santa Maria Novella. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see in Florence while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. The apartment was spacious, beautifully maintained, and located in a gorgeous historic building. One of the biggest advantages was having both an elevator and only a single flight of stairs, which made arriving and departing with luggage incredibly easy. We also loved the private deck in the back and enjoyed opening the windows and doors to let in fresh air. The living area and kitchen were exceptionally large, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Overall, the apartment was comfortable, charming, and an excellent home base for exploring Florence. There were only a couple of minor inconveniences. A clothes drying rack would have been helpful, as we ended up drying laundry on hangers and using chairs throughout the apartment. Also, the second bedroom was noticeably smaller than the primary bedroom and did not have a closet, so we stored some of our clothing in the wardrobe located in the hallway. Neither issue significantly impacted our stay, but they are worth noting for future guests.

Especially loved the bottle of wine that was left by the hosts. ☺️ The lighting in the stairwell was a little dark, but for such an old property, it added to the charm.

• Halina (10/5): Lovely apartment - Beautiful spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms. Very quiet - only lovely birdsongs coming from garden. Warm welcome from host, great communication. Location superb. No reason to be unsatisfied. For those who have disabilities - there is an elevator in the building, but be mindful that there is a step to get inside the building and also there is a step on entrance to both bathrooms. Floors are a bit slippery, so be careful.

• Testa (10/5): If you want a great location and a place to rest peacefully before a long sight seeing day this is a great option! - Great location! Easy to get everywhere by foot but quiet and safe. The beds are comfortable plus extra blankets and pillows which is rarely found in other places. The kitchen is well equipped, owner provided coffee, tea, olive oil - all of the little touches made it special. There were even umbrellas and raincoats for use if needed. The owners were responsive and offered great suggestions to enjoy Florence. Nothing would deter me from using this apartment again. Just know that there are many doors/keys that take a bit to get used to. They stick a little but once you get the hang of it there was no problem.

What a wonderful location: at the heart of everything yet because the apartment faces the garden, it's so quiet. The apartment is much larger than any I've been, and it was fully equipped with kitchen, bath, and laundry amenities. I'd stay here again the next time I'm in Florence. Nothing.

Close enough to the main attractions and was nice and quiet in the evenings. This apartment is up a few levels, however, there was an elevator/lift. The apartment was spacious and had a washing machine. The host was lovely, allowed for an early check in to leave bags. Offered us an overview of the surrounding area and suggestions for authentic local foods. Open communication with host at all times. No issues with the flat. No complaints to offer. Lovely location and the host was very accommodating for all requests.

Centrally located near all the sites as well as shopping yet very peaceful. Great cafes nearby. The property itself had all the modern conveniences for an extremely comfortable stay. Giovani was amazing and met us at the property and gave us lots of recommendations as well as explained the entire area for us on a map which was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again. • Maria (9/5): Of all our Italy accommodations, this was our favorite! - Barbara and Gianni were amazing communicators and were very kind. I loved that they checked in to see how our stay was going and even wished me a Happy Birthday when they received the copy of my passport! :). The property is situated in a perfect spot to walk the city and get to things that you need (mini grocery store on the corner, restaurants nearby, etc.). Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Gianni, as I had a rental car and had to drop off my daughter and her boyfriend. They had nothing but amazing things to say about him! He was very helpful in telling them about places to go, and the gelato place he recommended was fantastic! I'm already recommending this property to a friend of mine who is going to Florence this summer! I think one of my favorite parts is that even though we were close to everything, the property was quiet...except for the morning and evening songs of the birds from the tree outside, which was music to my ears, especially when the church bells were also ringing! Unfortunately, this property is within the ZTL zone, so if you have a lot of luggage, you'll need to take a taxi.

It's a spacious, old building with high ceilings and had everything we needed. The place was absolutely spotless, and Gianni, our host, made sure we felt at home with thoughtful touches like coffee, bottled water, and even beer and a welcome bottle of local red wine. Gianni was incredibly warm and friendly, with excellent communication. He checked in to ensure we were comfortable and gave us detailed recommendations for sights and restaurants, which made the most of our two days in Florence. Maps and other important information were thoughtfully provided on the table, which was super helpful. The parking garage right across the apartment (€40/24 hours) was very convenient and saved us any stress about our car. We highly recommend this apartment, especially for short stays. The hospitality, cleanliness, and location make it a perfect base to enjoy Florence! The internet was in and out for short periods. Not the hosts fault or anything he could do about it.

It is in easy walking distance of the key tourist attractions but also close to the less touristy area south of the River. The area is relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. No automatic light in the entry hall to the apartment.

• Alexis (10/5): Bella Firenze - Firenze is magical. The apartment is very spacious. Our group of 5 had enough space. Having two bathrooms was a plus. The apartment was clean and had enough pillows, sheets and towels. Gianni, our host, greeted us upon arrival and took the time to guide us on the location of points of interest in relation to the apartment and answer our questions. The apartment has an excellent location, right next to the Arno River and one minute from Piazza Santa María Novella. You can leave the apartment and walk along the river and reach the Ponte Vecchio. It is a magical experience. From there you arrive at Piazza della Signoria, Mercato del Porcellino, Uffizi Museum, etc. Across the river is the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. To Piazzale Michelangelo we take Taxis. In short, our stay in Firenze was magical. Definitely, when we return, we will stay here again. P.S.: Ask Gianni about where to eat. He recommended two local restaurants (not tourist traps). We went to both and they were excellent. Thanks Gianni. Everything was excellent

• Michele (10/5): The best property this frequent traveler has found to date! - This is a wonderful property. Clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet and in a superb location. The apartment has enormous rooms and is very well laid out. The beds are comfortable, the linens lovely, the bathrooms modern,the kitchen is updated and well appointed, there is a terrace off the kitchen if you want to eat outside on a nice day, and there is a balcony off the bedrooms looking out at gardens. The washing machine also did a great job and was easy to use. The apartment is in a great location between Santa Maria Novella and the river, and also close to the train station and trams. There is a grocery store nearby and wonderful restaurants all around. It is also the cleanest place we have ever stayed.The heating system allows you to set the temperature you want by the hour, so we could turn it down at night. And the hosts were lovely, leaving us coffee, wine and other welcome gifts. We would come back in a heartbeat. Nothing

Gianni, our host was very informative and welcoming. We were provided with some treats on arrival which was very special. The apartment was very spacious and can easily fit 4 people with room to move. Kitchen was well equipped and had great bathrooms. Would be nice to have some body wash or soap bar on arrival.

• Lesley (9/5): A large, well designed apartment in a fabulous location. - The location is amazing, within the historic centre - close to the Duomo, river, station and just across the bridge from a fabulous gelateria! There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance too. Gianni provided a map and marked up places of interest and recommended restaurants when he met us on our arrival. The apartment is on a busy side street, but is quiet inside and very secure. There is a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard garden. It has all the facilities you could need, even if planning a longer stay - eg. washing machine, full oven, hob and microwave. There is also a good supermarket at the end of the street. However there are so many restaurants and take away options nearby that we didn't feel the need to cook! The cost of eating out was cheaper than in England at the time of our stay. I found the mattress too firm, but everyone else was very comfortable.

• Mike (10/5): This is a fantastic place to stay. - This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to most Florence attractions. This was better than the advertisement as the apartment is spacious, clean, well maintained, and in a secured building. Gianni and Barbara, the owners, pwere both gracious and accommodating in meeting us upon arrival. The apartment has two bedrooms, one master with attached bathroom, a second bedroom with a king size bed, and a spacious kitchen, enormous living room, and a terrace off the kitchen with table and chairs. We would stay there again and plan to in the future!

• Daigneault (10/5): Elegance, location and spacious! - Wow! All the charm and elegance you could hope for with an amazing location in the heart of Florence! During our 4 day stay, we walked to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and many of the other main sights and attractions without having to take any taxis. You could also walk to the train station which if about 5-10 minutes away. If security is a concern, this apartment has 4 doors that need to be opened to access the apartment. We felt extremely safe! Although the apartment is on the 1st floor ( 1 flight of stairs), there was a spacious elevator which makes carrying your luggage very easy. This property is very large! From the long corridor upon your entry into the apartment, to the two bedrooms and incredible living room. You also have a balcony to the courtyard in the back with access from 3 different rooms overlooking a beautiful garden. The is a second balcony off the kitchen which was great for dinning and finding shade throughout the day. The two bathrooms were spacious and perfectly equipped. I also can’t thank the staff enough for accommodating an extra person at the last minute!! If this rental is available… take it!!!! The lock on the door to the back patio in the smaller bedroom may need to be replaced / fixed as they we difficult to lock, but in saying this, I really can’t think of anything else to complain about.
• Graydon (10/5): Excellent apartment in Florence. - We had an excellent stay in this apartment. There was just the four of us (two adults and two kids). This apartment was quite big and it was great to have all that space. The location was also excellent. It was close to the river yet, was not so close to the main touristy areas. The center of town gets really crowded so it was nice to be in this spot. It was only a 5 minute walk to the train station and pretty much all of the must see attractions were within a 10 minute walk. The host, Gianni, met us when we arrived and he showed on the map where we could find everything. He also told us where the best gelato in town was, and he was definitely right! We stopped there several times on our trip and it was definitely the best gelato we had during our entire trip in Italy.
• Fleace (8/5): Very good - There was no lock on the tour leading to a dark unfinished basement. It felt very creepy and affected by sleep.
• Christine (10/5): Don't even bother looking anywhere else. You will never find anything as lovely as this apartment. - A most amazing space. Very central It was perfect
• Laurie (9/5): Superb - Gianni, our host, was fantastic. He was super accommodating and also gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see in Florence. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the location was very convenient to the train station and local attractions.
• Felipe (10/5): perfect location, and huge apartment - the location is perfect , you are walking time of everything. also the apartment is huge and you will have plenty space for everything and some terrace and very nice appliances. Gianni, the host, give us some very nice attention at the arrival, and give us some very nice tips for restaurants, the best ice cream and nice areas. perhaps you need to wear always shoes to be inside, the floor is not so clean.
• Dunnivan (10/5): Exceptional - Giovanni was amazing! greeted us upon arrival and had a complimentary bottle of wine, water, and soda which was great to refuel after travel. the property was gorgeous and more than ample! there was an outdoor terrace overlooking a courtyard as well as a patio. lovely property! if you’re staying in Florence this is an amazing pick! very glad we went here instead of staying in Bologna!
• Anna (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location to access the centre of Florence and close to the tram links for the airport. The apartment was bright and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and nice terrace. The apartment was very secure and was at the back of the building so quiet. Second bedroom would do with some storage.
• Jill (10/5): Great location that was centrally located. Wonderful hosts who were very helpful and insightful! - This is a great two-bedroom apartment that is more centrally located to the middle of town. It was an easy walk from the train station. We were met by our hosts to provide the keys and provide some suggestions on eating and visiting placed within town. We loved our time here and will definitely return in the future.
• Mary (10/5): An elegant stay for sightseeing in Florence - There are many reasons why this is a great choice for two couples. Location: It is close to Santa Maria Novella and convenient for all of Florence sites. Service: We arrived late on a cold rainy day and having notified the owner, Jani met us by him and introduced us fully to the apartment, explaining how to use the appliances. There are two bedrooms, one larger with closet space and the other with closet space in the hallway. There is an eat-in kitchen as well as a dining area and a large living room, 2 full sofas and a dining room table. The 4 security point system is a bit complicated. The temperature was perfect and the ambiance quiet and welcoming. The apartment is on the first floor (elevator available), but stairs were convenient too. Grocery store and pharmacy nearby. It would be more practical to have two sets of keys.
