• Charlotte (8/5): Lovely cottage within short drive of main attractions - Lovely little cottage on large property with some cows goats and horses and other wildlife. Fire place a lovely cosy touch. Lovely hot shower. Kitchen quite small in the Rosella cottage. Extra firelighters would have come handy.

• Natasha (10/5): Couldn't ask for anything more - Everything about this cottage was amazing. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. The room was super comfy and so clean. It was si very easy to relax and enjoy this magical spot. The cockatoos in the morning were an added bonus.

• Annabel (10/5): Cosy mountain cabin perfectly situated! - Beautifully furnished cosy cabin with updated amenities. The little jar of seed to feed the birds from the hanging bird-feeder off the balcony was a really lovely touch. My kids and I loved feeding the cockatoos. Conveniently close to shops, wineries, restaurants and sights. Will come again and stay longer next time!

Pillows were terrible-very soft/cheap, not good at all

• Scott (8/5): Idyllic setting for getaway or longer stay with pet friendly options, fantastic place to unwind. - The Cottage was an ideal couples getaway, in an idyllic setting in semi rural spot, very private and in great location close enough to shops and all attractions in the area. We were able to take the dog too for a small cleaning fee that was well worth it. The property is beautifully maintained complete with friendly animals. Would highly recommend. Nothing other than small pod coffee machine would be a great addition.

• Merrelyn (7/5): Should’ve been 10/10 - such a shame - Gorgeous location, close to shops, nicely appointed, cute detail in the bird food/feeder. Stank like dog. From the blankets to the carpets, sofa, cushions - long dog hair all over the floor tells me not only were the soft furnishings not cleaned after the doggie visitor but neither was the floor. I told the owner who said oh we’re so sorry but then didn’t come to clean/remedy meaning we spent our entire trip in dog smell. Very unpleasant.

• Jacqui (8/5): Loved our stay in this cosy, quiet cottage. Very relaxing - close to nature, restaurants and cafes. - The newly renovated cottage was very cosy and comfortable. Loved the fire in the lounge room and the comfortable bed. The birdlife was lovely. A couple of basic staple items in the kitchen, such as cooking oil would be helpful as it is these things that you forget or are unable to carry.

Quality fittings in bathroom an kitchen Very low toilet seat isn’t great for seniors like us. Needs a hand towel rack mounted close to the washbasin - there isn’t one at present.

I loved how there were bird seeds available to feed the cockatoos on the deck - I had 4 at one time taking turns to eat. Lots of greenery around and great farm life. Very comfortable couch and bed and the cottage had everything I needed! I definitely will be back again. Sianne was quick at responding to all my queries. Overall very lovely place to visit.
• Trine (10/5): Kan varmt anbefales. Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold. - Overnatningsstedet var meget smukkere end forventet. Området var hyggeligt, både i og omkring boligen og i nærområdet med mange aktiviteter i nærheden. Værterne var begge meget søde og imødekommende og vi havde nogle virkelig dejlige dage. Terrassen var en skøn oase i skyggen mens vi lyttede til alverdens dyrelyde og fik fint besøg af king parrot og kakaduer, der spiste frø fra foderbrættet.

It had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and we loved the surroundings with the opportunity to see animals and even spotted a cute hare one morning. Having bird feed available was such a lovely touch! It was amazing to have cockatoos visiting the veranda. The nearby football field was a great bonus. We would happily stay here again and can definitely recommend it. Nothing to complain about, just to inform that the property it’s not within walking distance to most places and a car is needed, everything you want to explore is only about a 10-minute drive away. So we had no problem with that 🙂

We will be back to enjoy the fireplace in the winter. - The open rural environment and loved being able to walk around the property. Great to interact with the animals. So very relaxing and peaceful. It would have been good if the gardener wasn’t doing the blowing, raking, sweeping, and tractor work when we arrived right next to our cottage. Could it had been planned better? Not a big deal but just something to consider for the future. We didn’t use the spa bath because it takes sooo long to fill up and we would have missed our dinner booking. Not sure anything can be done about this though 🤔🤷‍♂️

• Anna (10/5): - We had the most beautiful stay at this cottage for a much-needed mum’s getaway. The tranquility was exactly what we were hoping for, with a stunning outlook that made it easy to truly relax and unwind. We loved feeding the abundant native birdlife with the seed thoughtfully provided by the owner, and visiting the horses, goats, and the adorable micro Highland cows was an absolute highlight. The location was perfect — close enough to enjoy some amazing local cafés and restaurants, yet far enough away to feel like we were miles from anywhere. It was the best of both worlds.

Mon fils a adoré le terrain de foot et les animaux de la ferme. Ce logement est très bien situé. Très bien équipé.un plus aussi pour les spots chauffants à la sortie de la douche! Je n'ai pas osé appelé pour demander une pîe de recha ge pour la télécommande du spa, il était tard. Nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter pleinement de la baignoire spa du logement.

Was a peaceful and comfortable stay with added bonus of beautiful birds which we fed on our verandah. We appreciated being provided with bird feed to fully enjoy the experience! The dusty parking area was a bit tricky to keep our clothes/shoes/ car clean.(dusty_dirt) The addition of a separate shelf or larger vanity top would be really useful to place toiletries on.

• Cara33 (10/5): A perfect get away - The place is amazing. It was clean and well equipped for our stay. The communication from the owners made the check in process really simple. The option of the wood fire or the Aircon to heat the place was good. The location is a great base for exploring the mountain with lots of things to do a really short way away but feels secluded enough that you can just sit and watch the birds and animals from your balcony. Bonus points for the seed for the feeder getting them so close to you.
