- Emma (8/5): Erg vriendelijke gastvrouw! - Ontbijt kon een half uur vroeger dan in de beschrijving stond, dat was fijn. Locatie was wat ver van alles verwijderd (ik was te voet), maar ik was er toch erg blij mee omdat bijna alle andere accommodaties in de omgeving dicht waren. Gastvrouw was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Wat aan de dure kant voor het feit dat je een badkamer met de eigenaresse deelt. Maar die was wel heel vriendelijk en hield rekening met mij, dus ik vond het geen al te groot minpunt.

- Johan (9/5): Prima verblijf voor 1 nacht in Eigenbilzen. - Homestay La Montagne des Coeurs was voor mij een overnachtingsplek tijdens een fietsvakantie. Het is een ruime en fijne accomodatie gelegen boven een eetcafe in Eigenbilzen. Erg vriendelijke eigenaar, lekker gegeten en een prima ontbijt. Fijn persoonlijk contact vooraf. Alhoewel de accomodatie geen berging / schuur heeft, was er geen probleem om mijn fiets te stallen. Tip: Als je met je fiets naar deze accomodatie gaat, is het verstandig om vooraf hierover te communiceren met de eigenaar. Daar de accomodatie geen berging / schuur heeft, is overleg vooraf makkelijk.

The room was also nice and clean and in front was also a parking. I would like to recommend this place. I do not have any complaints, everything was really nice.

The information provided on Booking.com was accurate and met our expectations. If you’re looking for a convenient place to stay for a night during your travels, this spot offers a clean bedroom and the added convenience of free parking, making it an easy and hassle-free choice. My main concern is the high cost, especially considering it's just a bedroom with shared facilities. On top of that, there's an extra charge for bringing a pet and a deposit required upon arrival, which makes the overall price quite steep. While the deposit is returned, it still feels excessive for what's offered. The room itself is quiet with the windows closed, but during the summer, it can get warm, and opening the windows isn't ideal due to the noise from the church bells that ring every 30 minutes. Additionally, since the room is located above a bar, there’s often a smell of smoke if you leave the windows open during the day. Given that the room is above a restaurant, if the high price is to be justified, it would be nice to see more included services, like a complimentary drink at the bar. Another example would be providing information on nice walking routes to bring your dog along, as you're paying extra for that privilege. In summary, I would suggest either lowering the price or enhancing the services offered to make the stay more worthwhile.
